Love the vibe and the selection - massive inventory! My friend Kate is working there, and as Ive always trusted her wine expertise I came by to purchase a few gifts. Well, I left with a box full of goodies for my house, too. The recommendations were great. Super knowledgeable staff. I learned a lot shopping!!

The Nola Wine merchant is my one stop shop.They carry a vast selection of wines, and if there is something they don’t have (that you will buy regularly), they can order it.Their prices are very competitive (which is not what you would expect from a retail store on Magazine Street), and they can sometimes offer price matching when buying in bulk- so call Jeff and ask him for a case of your favorite wine!

I come to Hoppers each and every time I come to New Orleans! It is a standard feature of my visit here. The service is outstanding and the selection of wines equals the service. You cannot go wrong with this stop while you are in town. Make sure you get by there before you leave town!

I set up a private wine tasting for me and 8 of my girlfriends. We absolutely loved it! Matt was super nice and the wine tasting was worth every single cent and probably more. Great wine shop, probably the best Ive ever visited, and certainly Thebes one in New Orleans. Rick and Brian are both great and are great at finding something for you regardless of your price or taste and even on the vaguest descriptions. They dont have a ton of California wines, but if thats what youre looking for, they will have some alternatives to suggest (and I think they can order for you).Just hang out a few minutes and pay attention to how they interact with the people who come in after you. This is how all retail should be.

Specializing in Burgundy but a great selection of fine wines not really a place for $10 wines! Owner very knowledgeable and goes out of his way to be helpful. Better quality wines than across the street!
