Great store! I only needed screws and a key made but the selection is huge for such a small spot. Customer service was excellent. A neighborhood gem.

Freret Hardware always seems to have the items I am looking for . The staff are ready, willing, and able to help find what I need. So glad I live close to this old-school establishment. I have enjoyed being a customer of theirs since the mid seventies.

Found the tile cleaner i needed

I really like this place. The two most recent times Ive been there I didnt know exactly what I needed and the staff was super helpful in finding it.

Love these guys. When doing smaller sized gas jobs I would buy my iron pipe from my plumbing supply house and bring it to them to have it threaded. Never got a bad measurement nor bad thread.

I’ve bought from them before, but I needed someone to take an axe handle I bought, mill down the end to fit in one of my old blades, and install it. Mistakenly, I purchased the handle somewhere else, but they took it in and fixed it up by lunchtime the following day. They were really cool about it and refused to let me pay for the service. If I need so much as a thumbtack from now on, it’s Freret Hardware or do without.

Great service, even when your buying a $5 tool they will still try and help you out with any questions you might have. Worth the few extra bucks over the big box stores

I always went to the big home improvement stores thinking that they had everything. The problem these days is that at most of these places the employees dont really care as much anymore.When you pay a visit to Freret Hardware things are a bit different! The staff there is very knowledgeable and take enough time to actually show you exactly where things are located and answer any questions you might have. This is very important to me and my coworkers. I will continue to shop all my supplies at Freret Street Hardware! Thanks to the entire staff for being who you are!!!
