Keymel and his crew was helpful and kind. BUT, we were EXTREMELY overcharged for the moving and packaging services purchased AND provided. I physically had to intervene to assist in the move myself, which is why we were paying for this moving service, if I’m not mistaken?? Needless to say….we will NOT be using your services again.

I cannot express more how much I loved my experience with All My Sons movers. My three movers - Troy, Harrison, and Sinsere were AMAZING. So professional and fun. They made the chore of moving so easy and delightful. I will gladly hire this company again. The corporate office made the reservation easy.

Keymel, Shy, Javis, & Brennan moved us today and I cant believe how great everything was. I called and booked them on short notice. From the office who scheduled me to management who called and informed me on my next steps, I knew I was going to be taken care of. The crew showed up and worked quick but effectively. They were all extremely professional but a lot of fun. This move was insanely stressful and as soon as they walked in they said relax we got it from here. I had a great move, but a item was broken and had issue resolving it at first thinking it was a dead end. Then a kind gentleman name Bryce was able to help me, and provided one of the nicest customer service I honestly received in a long time. He was fast to help and really change my whole imagine of the company. They really are there for you, and will do anything to help especially if you’re military. Just want to say thank you once again for being able to resolve an issue in such a timely fashion.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. These people are thieves!!!! Be prepared to pay 300$ in fuel charges for a 15 minute drive. They also charge you 225$ an hour for their drive to and from your house, like before the move starts and after the move is over. They charge for materials they dont use. There are so many hidden fees. They also took an hour long lunch break and charged me 225$ for that hour as well.As if all that wasnt enough, they damaged our house and a mirror and refuse to pay for it. They will give you the run around. Customer service and claims department is a joke. Dont fall for it guys, do some research and find a reputable moving company that will be fair and honest.

We hired All my sons to move us, they showed up on time and all the Men working the job were professional and very friendly, no complaints there, honestly probably above average on that aspect.The price was definitely very high compared to our expectations, and it seemed like the move took a bit longer than we anticipated. We ended up paying about double what we expected and had to carry the majority of the boxes to the upstairs rooms ourselves unless we paid more for additional labor. I feel that for the price we could have had a lot less work on our end, but overall they did do their job and were professional. The best I can day is the service was VERY AVERAGE, but the guys were nice and professional. So far nothing appears broken from the move but can update the review if that changes after unpacking.

We used All My Sons and were happy with the experience. Everyone on the phone had great customer service. The move was quick and efficient, especially considering the hot August weather and very heavy furniture. Lorenzo was very helpful and communicative with us. The crew showed up to my storage unit on time and greeted me very professionally. It took a little while for them to get started but once they got going, they worked steadily and with positive attitudes. We packed up majority of my 9x12 foot unit in just over two hours. The unloading at my house went much quicker and I enjoyed helping alongside of them.Overall, my experience was positive. I was very impressed with the driver, Kevin and Jamie. They both were very personable but all of the crew members were very kind and respectful. I appreciate the quick, last minute scheduling and the promptness with which my questions and concerns were answered by the main office and by Kevin Harbison.Thank you again for a job well done.

I recently made a very large move. Condensing two households into one in order to better support my mom. While the company was very responsive during the whole planning process, a few things fell short on moving day. The team communicated well to move items safely and securely out of my apartment and storage units. While unloading items into my home due to some miscommunication between team members, some walls got gouged. While the team was professional in getting items moved, their comments, humour, and off the cuff jokes made me very uncomfortable and made it difficult to ensure my items were moved to the proper location. That said, I am also missing items. 😔

Please do not give this company any business!!! They are total thieves, so many hidden fees in their confusing contract. They charge $225 an hour and that includes the time it takes the movers to drive to your house in the morning and the time it takes to drive home after the move. my husband followed behind the moving truck for the 15 minute drive, watched them pull into Burger King to get lunch or just run out the clock on a break. They showed back up at the new house an hour or so later, but we were still charged for that hour lunch break. They also charged us over $300 in fuel charges for that 7 mile away move. they damaged our flooring as well. Customer service refuses to pay for any of it. Worst experience of our many moves as a military family.

I cannot say enough! The company was able to fit me in and help me move within 2 days. Shyheim and his team were quick and efficient. They had amazing attitudes and took a ton stress off me. I would definitely hire them again!

They quoted us one price to move our 2800 sq. ft. house and it ended up being double what the quote was. When the quote was given, the employee who gave the quote walked my house and saw exactly what needed to be moved and he is the one that told us that they would be wrapping everything and taking apart the beds and tables, then re-installing everything at the new place. He also said he wanted to make sure he brought out enough people to do the job. Apparently that did not happen. He quoted the job for 5 1/2 hours but it took 12 hours for them to finish the job. They also charged us for an 11/2 travel from Yorktown (Dare area) to the area in Williamsburg right outside of Kingsmill, 23 min drive per Google.The crew was nice, but if as a company you are going to quote low then expect the customer to pay double the price at the time of service, that is bad business!!!When I called the company to talk about the move and difference in the quote, the manager I talked to did not really care that the quote was off. He was concerned that his crew got paid for the time they worked. I am all for the crew getting paid for what they work, but I am also for a business giving a customer a fair and accurate quote. If you as a business are charging people double what the quote stated, that is BS.I will never use this company again nor will I recommend them to anyone!!!The crew also forced/pressured my wife to give a google review before they left while they watched. With the crews using that practice, how accurate are most of these reviews????

Company unprofessional. Company want full payment before delivery. It took over 12 hours to do a 6 hour job. Then they want to delivery on a day we did not agree upon. Lead person was very unorganized and confused, kept taking belongs off the truck. Did not show up until 2 pm the following day for delivery vice early morning. Did not strap furniture down properly boxes fell a d picture frames broken before we moved the truck. Spoke with management to no available. I am retired military and have been moving for over 30 years. The worst move in my entire life. I dont recommend this company at all. Management is the worst. If i could give less than a 1 I would.

Movers were very fast and courteous of my time. They did not lag around. Also took time to wrap my furniture in plastic wrap and blankets to ensure no damage was done during the move. James was my mover and he was great! Communication was great as well. Overall I am very satisfied with my move. Thank you guys!!

The crew lead by Jamar Sellers that came to Williamsburg to move my son was amazing! They were careful considerate hard-working and had such positive attitudes!!! I truly appreciate the job that they did and would certainly hire them again when needed.

My wife and I moved the first of September from Carrollton to Gloucester. Darin, the individual who came to our house and surveyed all that was to be moved, was very kind and assuring. We specifically pointed out to Darin my wifes grandfather clock that would require special handling. It was broken when it arrived at our new location. It is presently inoperable. They broke the leg off a table and didnt even attempt to fix it. They left marks on the walls of our previous house that I had to paint prior to the new owners walk through. They also left gouges in places at our new residence which again I had to repair. Boxes that were packed with china, which was bubble wrapped in accordance to Darins instructions and marked FRAGILE on all sides, was crushed during the transport. I could go on as there were many other issues we encountered.This was not our first move. When we moved to Carrollton we used a different company. They moved the same items with no problems. The gentleman that came to our home to give us an estimate accompanied the crew when they moved us. Unfortunately they could not move us to Gloucester.In my opinion, AllMySons should train their employees and have proper supervision on the job. After the move I contacted Darin and he referred me to the claims office which is in Texas. They have basically ignored us. I dont like making negative comments about anyone, however, I dont wish to see anyone go what we went through.

The company cancel my move on moving day. I did not receive a call. I called them to find out when they were coming and was told it was cancelled. Movers came the next day. The movers that day said they were off the day before and nobody called them in for my move! The movers were great and professional. The company policy is to charge your card before the movers are done. They finished early and I was supposed to get a refund. I am still waiting 40 days later trying to get this refund! I had a few pieces of furniture damage and contacted claims. Claim department response was quick but I am still waiting on payment for the damage. When I call, I am rushed off the phone. Suggestion: don’t pay until movers are completed so you want have to wait weeks for a refund!

Ryan and Ryan and Harrison and Ahmad were absolutely the most amazing crew! The four musketeers. They move things that they shouldn’t of had to but did it anyway the smiles on their faces. Clean, courteous, thorough, amazing all around job! I would hire these guys again in a heartbeat!

The crew from All My Sons Newport News was great. John, Jamie, and Malcom moved our items from the house into a storage pod and worked hard to make as much fit as humanly possible. They also tried to make sure we got the most value for our money and we’re efficient and super helpful with taking things apart, wrapping, and working with our needs. Melissa and Bryce were our customers service agents and both were great, very communicative and helpful throughout the process. I read some reviews that concerned me before I hired them, so I was skeptical, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how well it went and how great they were. I would use them again for sure. I’m taking off a star because there were a lot of scrapes on my stairwell and some divots.

I had an excellent experience with All My Sons. One of the reps was supposed to do a virtual tour of my house and instead was able to just swing by in a matter of hours which was extremely helpful. They walked through the old house with me, gave me helpful tips on how to make the move faster, and gave me a quote for the whole move when we were done. The deposit was a little hefty (which you should expect for moving a whole house, ours was 1k), but we were able to get that back if need be. Also if the move cost less than the deposit then obviously you can get some money back. They came to my house and were very professional, nice, and careful with all out belongings. They sent Mateo out to my house with Robert, and I unfortunately don’t remember the third guys name, I’m sorry about that, and a young lady whose name I never got. They were in and out of both places and they put everything exactly where it needed to be with no issues. I wish I had know about All My Sons, and more specifically, this exact crew when it came to my other moves. I appreciate all the hard work they did for us and making the transition to our first real home an easy and stress free one.P. S. I highly recommend if you live in the Hampton roads using them to ask for Mateo, Robert, and they’ll know the third guy for sure. Name drop my last name if need be.

Looking back at the move, the only one on the team that I would ever consider hiring again would be the driver Lorenzo I believe. He was great but the other ones while they were nice they did not move quickly and did not take care of our belongings. Multiple items that are hand made wood were damaged, the bed which is fabric was not wrapped and is now dirty, I saw them multiple times throw items across the room, they left our pillows from our couch on the ground outside the apartment building, they broke multiple dishes in totes and boxes that had fragile written on them, they basically destroyed the outside of an ikea cabinet for my computer desk. They were not fast, professional, and they did not care for our belongings. Not to mention trying to cancel the move the morning of and the fact that I paid $1600 for this kind of a move when your team is supposed to be professional and take care of my items is absurd. I will never move with this company again and I will let everyone I know to never use this company either.

Beware they will under quote the move and hold your furniture hastage!!!!This company will changes you double what they originally quote and they wait until they have you furniture in there truck to get you to sign the paperwork with the final price like to hold you furniture hostage. They charged me a hour ($225) for there employees lunch break and changed for materials after I packed everything myself to speed up the process they also wrapped my couch in plastic just to rip off the plastic before it even arrived at my new house. They ripped the linoleum in my new house, broke a mirror and also my recliner.Tryed to contact the company about the lunch break the told me that the truck took a different route do to low bridges I dont think they realized at the companies headquarters that I moved on post and had to follow the truck on post and I watch them go to Burger king they tryed to lie and say there gps doesnt show that.this company is a scam beware and find a different moving company.They will also pressure you into leaving a review before they give you they final price who knows how many of these reviews are accurate

I contacted All My Sons for a local move. Generally, I was pleased with my service but I did have a couple of small issues.First, when I called to go over prices and book I was not told about the fuel surcharge. I didn’t learn about it until 2 days before my move. Too late to try another company. As I was already paying for an extra hour travel time, time in which they weren’t actually moving me, and I thought this was overkill especially considering my new home was only 20 minutes from my old.Second, I was told that I was not the first move of the day so I was prepared to get up and finish packing my last few items. Then I get a call at 8am saying they are on their way. I had to hurry up and scramble to be ready.Third, while they were moving some furniture they gouges a couple of places in my walls. Most were easily patched but it would have been a nice courtesy for them at to least let me know.Fourth, my new white box springs arrived filthy black from the truck. I scrubbed them as best I could but they are still stained in places. I guess I’ll just cover them with a fitted sheet to hide the markings. I wish I had been told that they would need protected by me somehow. I would have done it before they went into the truck.

Jalen and his crew took great care of me! They called me when they were on their way, arrived nice and early, were friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.The company rep gave me a time estimate based on four guys and then only three were sent. When we went 30 minutes over our time limit, I was charged extra which I dont feel is quite fair considering there was one man less than anticipated. Had I known I was getting three, I wouldve asked whether the time limit would be extended. Communication of how many movers are being sent could be improved, but that in no way reflects on the crewmen. They were awesome, and climbed a lot of stairs with heavy stuff for me!Overall, we would definitely recommend this company. Everyone was easy to get in touch with, attentive, and made our lives far less stressful than moving everything ourselves.

Melissa (not sure of her title) has made sure I’ve received competitive pricing and coordinated my moves effortlessly. Bryce (not sure if his title) checked in with me on the progress of each move. Everything went smoothly but he made me feel that if anything did go wrong he would do his best to fix it. Also, the actual moving team was courteous, respectful and careful each time. Jaelyn Williamson (not sure of her title) gave me courtesy calls ahead of each move and never complained when I was off schedule. She made sure her team got the move done quickly and safely. My boyfriend and I were trying to move into our new apartment today. I made the appointment with them over a mo nth ago so this was not a last minute thing. I was told that they would show up between noon and 1pm. They told me I was to call if noon came around and they had not showed up. Well I called and they informed me that they were still working on another move and they did not have a stop time for this move. I was told they would let me know when they had finished.3 hours come and go and I call again, only to get told the same thing. Another hour later I get a call from them saying that the truck broke down with all the other clients stuff in the back. I was also told that they could not do anything for us until Tuesday which is unacceptable. This is because I need to be set up at the new place immediately. If they had other people to move stuff for that is fine but I was not given any information regarding this nor was I given any updates. If they could not move us other arrangements should have been made to assist us. I find it hard to believe that as a professional moving company they have no other trucks to lend us when that one had broke down. Anyway, they completely screwed us over so we were stuck trying to make last minute arrangements. I know this company has a lot of good reviews but honestly I am not impressed...

Carl, Nick, and Damien were so friendly and helpful. We had a few bumps that come along with any move but they were very professional and hardworking.

From the moment I contacted All My Sons Moving, speaking with Bryce, giving him the details of my situation (another moving company had cancelled on me at the last minute), they were able to put me on their schedule and accommodate all my needs. They were completely professional from start to finish, keeping in contact along the way to make sure all was in order. The crew they sent, Derrick, Curtis, Hugh, Carlos and Breon were OUTSTANDING in the work ethic and professional detail to their task, and they were pleasant to be around…a definite plus. Shy, Flip, B, William, and Louis came out to handle my local move. They were earlier than stated, were super friendly, worked hard, and took a great deal of stress off of this day for my family. This allowed us time to think of the hundreds of other things we need to do. Theres a reason these guys get so many great reviews - believe the hype and dont hesitate to hire them for any moving job you have. Probably best of all was the service and professionalism provided by Bryce at the head office. He explained everything in detail before, during, and after. Top notch customer service from beginning to end.

Jacob Arrieta and his team are excellent! We scheduled an “in house move,” because our floors were still being worked on at the time of the initial move. Jacob’s team moved upstairs three MCM credenzas, a dining room table, and several smaller pieces of furniture. They moved two swivel arm chairs from the third floor to the second. They did all of this in 30 minutes! With time left, they quickly developed a relay system to unload the remaining boxes in our PODS—(about a third full)—bringing those to the second floor in still under the two hours we had scheduled. They were constantly cognizant of the newly finished wood floors and careful with our furniture and belongings. It is obvious that they take pride in their work and efforts; they are professional and courteous. It was a pleasure working with Jacob’s team.

Moving is always very stressful, and movers can either push you over the edge or help you gain a modicum of sanity. I did my research for movers, and I was extremely impressed with the ratings and reviews for All My Sons. I had cheaper quotes, but those don’t necessarily mean you get quality service. From the initial still customer service and the periodic follow-ups from the company reps, I was impressed and admittedly developed high expectations.On moving day, Giovaunie, Kevin, and Josiah were more than awesome! They were polite, professional, friendly, diligent, and went above and beyond to make sure they buffered the stress of moving for us. They took the time to explain what they needed to do and made the process easy. I couldn’t have asked for better guys to help, and they surpassed my expectations. I admit it was a little pricey, but I am very satisfied and impressed with the company, especially with Giovaunie, Kevin, and Josiah. I highly recommend All My Sons, and you need to ask for these three amigos as your movers!

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Every time I try to get help I am rushed off the phone. My initial move was pushed out a day which was an inconvenience my husband was leaving overseas and i had help that specific day because the company was not honest about how long it would take for the crew to arrive the help i had was not able to come the next day. The crew came the next day still late. I’m one person it was three of them i can’t keep eyes on everyone and they broke my brand new dryer and said nothing! The claims process is a joke! I put in the claim july16. A decision was made July 23 and the email says i have 30 days to make a decision before they cancel the claim. I did not get the email from the claims department until yesterday aug 18!!! My dryer with discounts was 800 something dollars they only offered me 200$!!!! It was barely a year old if that!!! No scratches no scrapes and it worked! Now it sounds like it is working in overdrive and it smells burnt and doesn’t dry anything! The damage is more internal. I only asked for my dryer to be replaced with the same dryer they broke. They can take the broken one sell it for parts or whatever they want i just want a new working dryer! I am EXTREMELY disappointed, dissatisfied and will NEVER recommend this company!

My movers, James and Chris, did an amazing job! They were very professional and fast. The made the whole process easy and took great care protecting the furniture I needed moved. I called multiple companies because I was on a quick timeline to get my furniture moved and they were the only ones that could work with my schedule. Keymel and Denzel were some of the best movers I’ve had in my time, and I’ve moved cross country 14 times.

This is a highly professional business. My move team was led by Mateo Boykin who explained up front all charges. The team wrapped all the furniture, either in blankets or plastic to protect it. They moved at a fast pace and the job was completed efficiently. My only issue was the office couldnt tell me what time they would come. But I would definitely use them again. The move team takes good care of your furniture.

The 4 people were responsive to our needs and request. The tram worked cohesively. They were phenomenal representative of your organization. I am an advocate of your services.

The excellent service I received started with the estimator Darrin and it continued with the crew who did the move. I started with four people for the move out which made it very fast. Two of the team travelled overnight to my new location in Maryland and were on time and while to took longer than expected, they did an excellent job.Out of an entire two bedroom 1100 sq ft apartment, the only casualties were one wine glass and a package of light bulbs. This was the best and most successful move I have ever had, and I have moved over 15 times in my career.I hope that if I ever have the need again, that I will use All My Sons to get me to my new locatins.

Get your estimate and timeframe in writing no matter what they say. They will lowball everyone else with their estimate. Which is really an estimate to load their truck and then charge more to unload their truck, because the estimate is always going to be inaccurate which requires you to pay over the agreed estimate and timeframe. Ask yourselves this why only take $100 deposit and then require full payment after 🤔 because they will load all your Personal Property and then say your cost is more than what was agreed. So how many people you know don’t pay to get their Personal Property (back)???? Exactly! There are definitely more reputable movers who won’t do you in this manner. How are you an expert and can’t give an accurate estimate and timeframe a move requires? Caveat Emptor!!!!

Joseph and his Team were very good, efficient & professional.They were very helpful in many ways.I was not pleased with the way the person I talked too about the final billing though. She was rude and would not really listen to why I was frustrated.

The crew that moved my dad, including Mateo Boykin, were awesome. They were professional, expedient, and prepared. The guys were kind enough to give me a moment to label some of the boxes they packed even though it slowed them down a tiny bit.I would recommend All My Sons to anyone as they were recommended to me. I have been a real estate agent for years and heard all the moving company horror stories and these guys aren’t one of them!

My Three Sons is a great company to use for your next move. The process was easy, the team was professional. They showed up on time and did what they promised. I knew my furniture was going to be safe and handled with care. Joseph, Jaelyn, Derrick, Kenneth and Viktor were very hard working and considerate of my possessions. If you want a great team to move you then request these guys. You wont be disappointed!!!

Having a HUGE discrepancy with the price quoted vs what was charged....Bryce is working hard to resolve it to my satisfaction which I am confident will happen and when it does, I have NO PROBLEM updating to 5 stars.....The move itself was flawless and the movers really hustled to get it done......EDIT: refund of $200 for the $400 that was overcharged has been received. Do your due diligence and read ALL the reviews...including YELP.....I am holding up my end of the bargain by stating I would delete this post or edit it to 5 stars for the refund....I would have been happier about the outcome had I received the full $400 overcharge, but this is the best Bryce said they could do.....the 5 stars is for the movers themselves, they did everything they were supposed to do and deserve the just recognition.

Warning to anyone, specifically MILITARY families - worse moving company possible. It would be a short story if I fully detailed all that went wrong on this move but in short, I had TWO moving crews: 4 (four) people at my primary house and 3-4 (three to four) people at the storage facility. I was making an out of state move and hired All My Sons to pack and load ALL CONTENTS, and deliver to my new residence. The moving crew at the house didnt really begin until around 10:30-11am and took a lunch break after working for less than 2 hours. They returned near 2 oclock and 3 of the 4 crew members literally sat on my driveway when they returned chatting and laughing with the others. The house had so much still remaining to box and wrap that I politely asked them what they were waiting for. The crew at the storage facility apparently didnt take a lunch break and became angry when they found out the house crew had left to go eat. Finally after I sat and watched the crew do absolutely nothing other than sit on the driveway, I called Joe the manager at the office to intervene. He is about as worthless as the crew but was able to read the canned response I suppose they give customers on how theyd take care of things. While my partner and I were trying to be at both places at once, I got a phone call around 7pm that the movers quit informing us they couldnt work but a certain amount of hours and literally left the remaining contents inside the home (yes all those things that were left unwrapped and unboxed that I brought their attention to at 3-4 pm). The movers just left. My partner and I stayed up past midnight to physically move the contents of the garage, wrap and box the remaining house contents and use his truck to bring things to the storage garage. He is active military and had planned to leave that night (Saturday, Sept 11) and drive to the new residence out of state. He started his new job at the base on Monday and deployed for military assignment Wednesday. I was on call in the hospital the following day (Sunday Sept 12) so I couldnt help any longer or be there Sunday morning. All My Sons crews were careless and sloppy and broke a 18th century Candlestick Table, a 17th Century writing chair and a 18th Century apothecary. The crew said thats easily fixed. I am ready for the canned response All My Sons will post and their excuses and how this is not their business practices..... we have all read responses by businesses when negative posts are submitted. They can save theirs. MILITARY families especially, seek moving services elsewhere. I dont think anyone should be treated differently - wealthy or not, military or civilian, however, to abandon a job for active military moving out of state who is being deployed in days of a move they were hired to COMPLETELY DO, and just leave house and garage contents that they could have at least wrapped and boxed up, is unacceptable. This is less than unacceptable. All My Sons came to the house and surveyed everything and if they didnt have the size truck or enough time or a crew large enough, they should have known this. The truth is the worthless crew they sent and inability to remedy a problem. Beware. I have video, photos and texts to back up all claims.

Jamie, LJ, Antonio, Ahmad were fantastic. Careful with everything, friendly, assisted me with anything I needed help with, and tolerated my cat. Love them and Will def use them again.
