I have been with Public Storage for over 2 years now and I have known for a long time that I made the right choice. Markay has been the manager there since I rented my storage space. Her and her staff have been very helpful, professional, and understanding to me since day one. I know its a business but these people take it several steps above that. I have had my share of issues since I have been there but never once have I ever felt like anything but the perfect customer, and trust me I havent been. This is a great place to store and they will continue to have my trust and my 5 star rating from now on.

Only at the initial storage stage, but the service has been great and the climate controlled unit suits our needs. Check in with Rachel was a breeze. She is friendly, efficient, helpful and considerate. Ill be back to review the rest of experience after I leave the unit. UPDATE: Have been out of the unit now since the end of March, but the check out phase was just as good as the check in. No issues whatsoever! Unit was examined by staff before leaving, very friendly, efficient, helpful and considerate as with check in.

The manager was very polite and knowledgeable. She took me to the unit I reserved but it was too small for what I needed so she showed me another larger unit that satisfied my needs. She made the changes and I was in and out quickly. This is the 2nd time I rent space from this location and I got the same level of service both times.

I was more than happy with the space that was chosen for me. I was in a pinch and needed a unit fast and this location definitely took care of me.If youre looking for a place to store your things and it falls within your price range. Dont think twice! It was the best customer service experience that I have received for years. The professional ladies, Markay and Jasmine, were so friendly, respectful, and accommodating beyond the norm. Unknowingly, I showed up minutes before the end of operating hours and I was not expecting from them to stay late and serve me. But, they refused to send me away or ask me to return the next day. On the contrary, they took their time to properly process my request for a storage unit, appropriately evaluated my needs, and honestly recommend the best fit for me. I appreciate the kind treatment and the professional service. I undoubtedly will recommend this business establishment to my family and friends. Much obliged.

Markay was excellent she gave me all the details and cost for my unit. Markay even did one better I received a larger unit for the same cost way to Go!!

Helped my neighbor get some stuff from her inside storage unit. Lights are movement activated and the sensors are so far inside they dont come on until youve walked 15 feet in the dark. Can we say lawsuit potential, if someone stumbles in the dark? You also have to be careful which gate you use to exit. The some of the numbers on the keypad at the gate by the office dont always work, do you could get stuck inside.

Im currently standing at this location & Im absolutely impressed with the service. Any questions, comments, or concerns I have are being fully answered. The property manager Markay is very respectful & understanding with any & all concerns I have. I cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience is and I do approve & recommend this Public Storage location to anyone who is interested.

Markay delivers phenomenal service! I mentioned to her when I came in that I was limited on time. And she got me in and out in the amount of time frame I asked. And she kept me very informed along every step of the journey. I would highly recommend wiring with her, especially as a new person to town she will do what she can to make you feel right at home. She also gives you a package of all the paperwork, so you are informed at all times.

I have been utilizing Public Storage since they took over the old Suregaurd facility. Never had any problems! Personnel were always friendly and very professional, especially the manager. She, and you know who you are; went out of her way to make me feel special. No matter what circumstances brought me to her facility. I visited this location to get prices on boxes and units for my upcoming move. The staff was very welcoming pleasant and professional from start to finish. My over all experience with them was excellent.

I previously wrote a review commenting how wonderful the staff was that has not changed but dealing with Public Storage has. I have not even been with them 5 months and theyve already raised my rent almost $30. My rent has gone from 135 to 165 do you think if I knew this 5 months ago I would have rented from them. I will never rent with Public Storage again. Beware...

I would leave no stars if I could. Everything was fine for the first few months. After that I got a notice that they were raising the price to almost $100 for a unit the size of a broom closet. when I called to ask why they said we always do that. Then they tried to tell me that all storage companies do this and its normal. No, its not normal. This is pretty much a scam. Got a different storage down the street for almost half the price and the price is locked in. Will never do business with public storage again and will go out of my way to tell others not to as well.

My wife and I visited this location after we visited a location down the street that was too expensive. Markay was very pleasant and helpful. We reserved for a smaller unit, but she found us a unit that was on special, 2 ft more space, and it was cheaper. The customer service was great and the space was exactly what we needed.

The manager was amazing! Super helpful and friendly, made the entire experience easy. Very clean property, safe and well managed. I feel very confident that my items are safe and would recommend this property 100%!

Excellent service from Sarmara, Mariah and Verzet. Rented indoor unit #0500 for one year. Two easy accesses from J. Clyde Morris. Occasional problem with keypad entrance. The location has made improvements, but showing age.

My experience at this public storage location was exceptional. The service was great and we were able to get the unit in a speedy fashion. My only complaint has nothing to do with the service in store, but with the online website. There was first confusion with the unit we rented which turned out to be a parking space, but this was not clearly outline on the website. However, the in store location was able to sort this out for us very easily. Also I believe the online website should tell you that you have to by insurance so that this small additional fee does not come as a surprise.

Nice staff. Easy access to my belongings. Ive use this facility twice in 2 years and both experiences were handle professionally and the price is good.

Ive used this location twice now and the staff is great!!! Markay is the Manager that I dealt with both times and she is awesome!! She remembered me after four years being away. She was helpful in the decision of what size unit I would need and she was spot on. Nice and convenient location in the Newport News area.

As you may have seen in the other reviews of this facility, this is an excellent place and the onsite manager (Markay) is absolutely great. Ive never used rented storage space before, and she broke it all down simple for me and took me to the unit I was thinking using. And then she gave me a lot of detail and relieved me of all concerns. This facility in particular looks like its going to be perfect. And their prices are very competitive. I almost went with the competitor across the street, but I saved over 45% going with Public Storage. Its all an easy system and I have access until 9pm. Cant complain. Definitely check out the website, and see what they have to offer.

The keypads have been malfunctioning for at least two years. When I brought it up to the management I was told it’s been four years and to hold a certain spot for it to work. . This place is not managed well at all. They were very fast to call me and threaten to charge ny account. when someone else left trash behind and they had seen my vehicle enter that morning as I do every morning.If you can find any other place do so.
