Normally when visiting a town, I can never find good coffee. I did today at Coasties Roasties. I had ordered an orange mocha and it was fabulous. When looking in their case of goodies by the register, I also appreciated them because there were gluten free, vegan, and gluten free vegan options (that did not sacrifice flavor or texture) and were also pretty great. To top it off, the staff was very nice and cared about the coffee they were making. This is all around a great place to get a coffee and a sweet treat.Update: Went back the day after and my orange mocha was the perfect balance blend of both sweet and bitter finished with the creaminess of coconut milk. It was good the day before, but today was a perfect balance (hard to find in a coffee place). My partner and I also learned they are able to make items off menu to tailor to food allergy needs. This is very appreciated since I have an egg and gluten allergy making it difficult to find stuff to eat while traveling let alone a good meal. This place is great, eat here.

Had a delicious bacon gruyere and onion scone with a heavenly iced latte. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and amazing! A great stop with great people!

Despite being slammed, they had very friendly service and delicious food and coffee. The bagel sandwich and breakfast burritos were delightful and it was the best chai latte Ive had in awhile. Thanks ladies!

I would give the food five stars because it was delicious. We ordered build your own bagels and build your own burritos, which were executed great. However, I had to knock a star off for service. It was very inefficient, and it seemed like no one quite knew what they were doing. Overall, we will be going back because the food was that good, but expect delays and waiting for your food.

We ordered 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches. I asked for egg in each, but by the time we went to eat them ( take out) we realized there was no egg in either of them. I called the cafe, they stated I did not ask for the eggs, which is untrue. They were going to set some aside for me, but we were heading out if town already.I spent $32 for 2 breakfast bagels, 2 coffees and a pastry. So over priced and not amazing quality. I did not like how there were no prices listed on the menu. I feel tourists can be taken advantage of when no prices are listed. I dont know why this place has such good reviews. This wouldnt fly in a bigger city with this type of service and quality.

This place is fantastic! Its s great location, easy to find and nearby parking. Inside is adorable, really well decorated. They take a lot of pride in the quality of their baked goods and coffee ingredients too. Great staff, huge custom drink menu, super personable service and they give great suggestions for restaurants in town too! This place is everything you are looking for in a coffee shop! Highly recommended!! Try the White Butterfinger!!

Coffee was great. When I wanted to buy a loaf a bread and goodies she just kept on talking to the gale in front of me. Got tired of waiting. So I moved on just like another couple waiting to order from menu. They left also.

Please stop here. You MUST STOP HERE. I fell in love with the coffee and the baristas. I almost cried as I left on our last day as I waved goodbye. So convenient as you head south on 101. They have amazing hand made pastries and build a bagel. The only reason I can possibly imagine not stopping here is either you like hotel drip coffee or, youre in a massive hurry. They are making you beautiful perfect beverages and cooking your bagel. It will take a few minutes. They make their own caramel sauce. Lemon muffins, strawberry cream cheese puff, marion berry scones!!!

I seek out local coffee shops because the hotel coffee is sub-par, and I like my espresso drinks. This is a nice shop that also have food and baked goods. I just ordered a cafe mocha which is delicious! Skip the Dutch Bros down the street - they have legit baristas at Coasties Roasties!

OMG. This place was amazing. Coffee was wonderful, I got a latte and the hubs got a shot in the dark. He really appreciated that his drink was smooth and not bitter (like when you mis-time the shot). We got a wonderful savory pastry that I wish I took a picture of but it was gone too quick. The two ladies working were SO NICE, I wish we could have stayed and chatted. Come check this place out, grab a drink and walk the beach!

Im breaking my trend of not leaving reviews. This cute coffee and bakeshop on my trip through Newport quickly stole my heart and tastebuds. Ive been able to catch up on work from the parking lot (great wifi) while snacking on baked goods that change out everyday. Ive been everyday for the 4 days in town and will be back whenever Im in the area. 10/10

My son and I have spent the past several days visiting Newport, and decided to try a different coffee shop each day we were in town. Coasties Roasties was our last stop, and definitely gives meaning to the idea of save the best for last! Both of our coffees were absolutely delectable, and the savory scones we tried were perfection! The women running the shop were so kind, willing to make recommendations and happy to answer any questions we had. The interior of the shop was quite lovely as well, filled with tastefully enchanting nautical decor. What a perfect way to end our trip- I will absolutely be back the next time I am out this way!

Husband just brought back the best bagel breakfast sandwich. It was amazing! Wish we had found this gem on day 1 of our trip, wed have been there daily. My coffee was delicious and exactly how I wanted it. He loved the decor and said the staff was friendly and wonderfully social. Support this business, truly a gem! We will be back!

Tasty cold brew

The office bought lunch and coffee from Coasties Roasties and I had a green horn sandwich and a decaf sugar free iced mocha with sugar free vanilla and heavy cream. The sandwich was SOOOOOO TASTY and my drink was creamy and yummy! I.LOVE.THIS.PLACE!! They do it right!!

The best coffee we’ve had on our trip coming from Medford, OR. Great atmosphere, great customer service and the White Chocolate Breve is everything! My husband got an Iced Hazelnut, Caramel Breve with homemade caramel. AMAZING!! Next time we are in Newport we will be here. Thank you very much.

Blended Dirty Chai was the best coffee I have ever had in my life. Ingredients are so fresh and organic. The customer service is amazing.

Awesome high quality coffee, tea and pastries right on Olive/ Hwy 20! They had my organic white tea and my partners mocha was great. We split a house baked muffin and it was awesome. Im picky about the crumb of baked goods and the muffin exceeded my expectations.

We bought a vacation home in Newport, and visit as often as we can and Coasties Roasties is our goto spot in Newport for coffee and a muffin; ice tea and a muffin; a quick sandwich and iced coffee; catch up with old friends; or any other excuse we can thing of to drop in and enjoy the drinks, food, and the restful calm atmosphere.Coasties Roasties comes with my highest recommendation and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed in either the high quality drinks, or the delicious food that they have to offer.

I was really surprised how good my americano was. I usually lower my expectations for drive through coffee - a necessity when heading out on a drive rather than something I expect to enjoy. I just happened to notice this place and made a last minute stop on my way out of town. No dark, bitter, over-roasted, oily taste. It was a solid cup, very tasty.

Coasties Roasties is 100% locally owned and operated plus all ingredients are purchased locally!! These guys rock! They have amazing quality coffee and use all natural ingredients including real (not processed) fruit in their smoothies. They also have an amazing Vanilla Chai Latte and great customer service!!

Ill never get to enjoy this place again but I highly recommend stopping by for a vanilla latte!! OMG! YES!
