This is a fun place where you pay one small price (for example, when I got there a little after 10pm they said is was just over 5 bucks and we could play until midnight) and you can play all the video games that you want. They have a lot of retro arcade games (I just finished all of Golden Axe) plus console games that can be played on regular screens for bigger projection ones. It was clean and had lots of room to move. They also have games that you can buy and take home.
We had our twins 7th Birthday party here and it was a perfect party for parents and kids! The kids were more than happy and it was easy on us parents. Also the cost was extremely reasonable. The customer service was top notch from the moment I contacted them to make the reservation. Otto was extremely friendly and so helpful with setting it up. Then the day of the party Travis and the other guy there were so awesome with the kids. Travis was helping the kids get other game console games throughout the party and I was just so impressed with his friendliness. Id highly recommend this place for a kids party or just some simple easy going family fun! I hope this place sticks around. Check it out for yourself!
We got here 18 minutes after they should have opened. This sign was on the door. Ive been waiting outside for 7 minutes at the moment. First time here. So its not terribly fun at the moment.Edit: Okay I regret being hasty. Dude was off getting food and he should have dealt with that before the place opened at noon. He came back a few minutes after I posted the first review, but I mean him no ill will. We stayed for 2 hours playing as a family for a great price and could have stayed longer. We had a lot of fun and Im glad this place exists.
Will be great when it opens to the public!
Absolutely fantastic place. They have lots of arcade cabinets of all genres and lots of video game consoles. Theres so much here and its honestly so much fun. And I do remember I had my b-day here. I highly recommend it if you are interested in old arcade/video games.
Really awesome place! Only 5 bucks gets you in to play the arcade games unlimited. I also watched an exciting smash tournament. Place was clean, had good bathrooms, and plenty of fun
Hosted our daughters 11th birthday at Arcade Legacy and it was a perfect place for an 80s themed event. Kids had a blast and the staff made it easy for the parents to have fun too. Great price, relaxed atmosphere, and lots of happy faces!
This place is awesome!!! I felt like I was a kid again. Ended up spending 7 hours there that felt like mere minutes. Very helpful, friendly, and affordable. I took my son to show him what an arcade was like when I was his age and he loved it as much as I did! You won’t be disappointed!
For a very reasonable price, you get to play unlimited arcade games (except the Star Trek pinball machine). The selection of games is not huge and most of the games are pretty old, but you can definitely have an hour or two of fun here on the cheap. Definitely a good spot for an old-school pinball fix. I didnt ask, but I didnt notice any food or drinks available. I might be wrong about that.
We had a hugely successful party for my sons 10th birthday. Everyone had a great time and Otto was super helpful. It was easily the most fun and relaxed atmosphere weve ever had for a party.
This is a fun little arcade. Lots of interesting pinball machines and arcade games. Great if you need a couple of hours to cure your gaming fix.
It is very great and fair on the price. They do offer drinks in there as well if you want to water or soda. They do sell games and have every game Council along with arcade games.
I took my family here for my sons birthday. We all had a blast! Played all sorts of arcade video and pinball games (mostly classic) for two hours straight. Will definitely do it again.
Ive never actually been here, but I called and asked about an controller i was looking for and though they were out, the employee gave me information on where else I could find one quickly and what price is fair to pay. He went out of his way to help me and that kind of customer service is so rare and refreshing!
My five year old had a blast. Such a great deal for a few hours of fun. The guy working with the long black hair was so nice and helpful!!! Tons of fun games, very nostalgic!
Amazing retro video game arcade. $5 for an hour of nostalgic bliss is an amazing value. My 8yr old daughter was overjoyed at the idea of playing the games that i played as a child. Been to all 3 locations now for this company and they are all great.
Outstanding repair advice, helped me take apart my broken gamecube controller and walked me through specific steps to fix it (white vinegar bath to remove corrosion on battery contacts). I had it fixed and was playing my new very reasonably priced game I bought from them later that same night. Glad to have them in my community, and I encourage the reader to spend money here.
Good games but it smells in there and the worker wears headphones and you have to try to get his attention but overall I like it
They really need a better atmosphere. Its not the arcade of the 90s. This place is dark and not sparkly. That being said, what other options for an old school arcade do you have?
Great place to get your arcade game on! Throwback that really captures the atmosphere of 80s and 90s local arcade shops. Machines are in good condition and maintained well. Staff is always upbeat and engaging; they treat you like a friend, not just a customer.
Very cool place. My kid loves. It.
We had our twins 7th Birthday party here and my kids, and husband and I all left so happy with it. Also the cost was extremely reasonable, which is always our concern with double everything with twins. The customer service was top notch from the moment I contacted them to make the reservation. Otto was extremely friendly and so helpful with setting it up. The day of the party Travis and the other guy there were so friendly and awesome with the kids. Travis was helping the kids get console games throughout the party and I was just so impressed with his friendliness. Id highly recommend this place for a kids party or just some easy going family fun! I hope this place sticks around. Check it out for yourself!
They have a lot of good classic machines fun and good for kids
Great place to take your kids and show them how to play some REAL video games! Clean, affordable and really close to Downtown and Eastside of Cincinnati. I really enjoy this place when it comes to a little father-kid bonding time.
Love this place! We brought kids in ranging from 6-16....everyone had a blast! Travis deserves employee of the year! Thank you for going above and beyond! We will definitely be back!
This place is awesome. A lot of old school vintage games and consoles. Hundreds of console games to pick from.
Please support our local businesses. Great classic arcade feel from back in the day.
Smells like a basement but what do you expect from a bunch of man-boys. Cool games. The service is minimal but still good, its pretty self serving till you actually need something. Groupon make everything better! We will come back one day.
Great legacy games, great prices, all machines I played were in excellent repair.
This place is awesome!! The staff is great!! If you like video games and enjoy cool people, I highly recommend!!
Nice hangout for teens especially. Looks a little dark from outside. They offer good group rates.
Good place to teach the younger generation how games are meant to be played.
Was a great time with friends !
Good selection of all the old systems plus all the new as well
We love this place. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Great place to go and kill time.
Nice place to spend 2 to4 hours price not bad kids like it
Its a great place when they are open. I habe driven over there a couple of times when they were open only to find the place closed. The one time it was open it was amazing.
I like Arcade Legacy because it is bring back good arcade games and old games and old movies. Like this place is better than Game Stop because they dont have something like this, this is bring back old games like PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360 games witch you dont see anymore this place is the best. RESPECT!!!
This place has a great selection of retro and modern video games. 10/10 would go agian
It was awesome! Planning another visit asap! I would like in future to buy a system.
Really great place to have fun. Also great Ass Salad on demand. 5stars!
Best keep serect on a video game tip good selection plus the fact it like a acrade that a ➕
My kids love it. Im hoping if more people go, they can keep more games coming in. But my kids play for hours and still havent scratched the surface.
Its a great place to go to for a fun time . an employee named Travis was super nice and helpful
My favorite place but they close on Tuesdays now and I am only in Newport then. Ill miss the fun.
Great games especially if you like pinball. Friendly staff and service
Mr. Otto is the best. This place is amazing and Ive never felt so comfortable in an arcade.
Great place to introduce my 6 year old to a variety of old school arcade machines!
Not quite as good as the mall one, but still a great vibe and fun place to go to, come Wednesday for the best smash ultimate tournament in cincinnati!
Doug Price you sound like someone who has nothing better to do than complain. This arcade is top notch and I love coming here. Clearly the 1 employee can not watch the counter and the bathroom at the same time. Also you most likely didnt know this but it would be illegal for him to go in and accuse people of drug use. Its a great way to get sued. However if you have so much time on your hands maybe you or your wife would be willing to do something about the so called drug use go for it. Also if youre worried about your children safety may I suggest actually being a parent and watching your children and not rely on the staff of an arcade to do it.
Pros: good over all game selection.Good service.Clean and welcoming. Room for improvement: Not using all the space provided (could have more arcade games).
Fun for all ages and prices were perfect for what you can do there.
Alot of fun .... grandbaby had a blast .. something for everyone ..hidden gem
Arcade Legacy and Arcade Legacy Bar Edition or two of my favorites I finally went to Newport and I felt like it was lacking a lot of things hopefully its just the beginning so was a great time great atmosphere great customer service
This was by far the best arcade Ive ever taken my family to. Its nice to pay a flat rate and play games just for the sake of enjoying them and not trying to earn silly tickets for a chintzy little prize. My kids 13 and 6 had a blast and I basically had to pull them out of there, well lets be honest my wife was there she had to pull me and the kids out. The selection was great there were cabinets from the late 70s up through the late 90s. All the classic top dogs are here including Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, Crazy Taxi, Hydro Thunder, Lethal Enforcers, Mortal Kombat and the list goes on. All of the machines were in complete working order and there were no issues. I would gladly go back at the drop of a hat.
Fun spot to take the kids for an hour before Mexican.
Friendly, great prices, and an awesome place to take your kids! My family and I come almost weekly and its a total blast! A+
Money well spent, I do hope they get more games, the ones they have are fun.
See ya soon #gamerdream
Great atmosphere, wonderful place for kids and serious gamers alike
It was a Great Place to check out. If you like an old style Gameroom they have Centeapeide as well as Phoenix.
Fantastic place to come relive the glory days of gaming
Good variety of machines, all well-maintained.
Rows of classic and newer arcade games, a bunch of fantastic pinball machines from the 70’s and 80’s, and what feels like every console and game ever. It’s a gamer’s NKY paradise.
Old school 80s arcade + console game store. Totally awesome.
Awesome place for the Whole family! Very affordable and Wide selection of games
Great place! Brings back so many memories from back in the day...
Lot of fun for the whole family and prices are fair too!
Most games work. Pinball was the best!
Decent enough selection of vintage games for sale. The real attractions of the pay to play by the hour arcade games. Barebones decor, but youre here to game not admire the scenery. A fun time can be had with multiplayer cabinets like the capcom 6 man X-Men game, the Gauntlet update, or Ivan Stewart off road. Fair amount of pinball, some lightgun games add variety. Classic console gaming can be done as well on retro systems.
People are nice has a lot ofgames accepts everyone is a good way for kids to experience old games
Great Time for the whole family. Staff is friendly and you cant beat the price 5 for an hour 8 for two and 10 for the day even with paying for each person its a great deal!
Such a fun place for a birthday party!
Great customer service and super friendly. I got a lot of great recommendations for my son and I. We were there for ps3 games as gamestop s collection was very limited about 1/4 of what this store has. They were even less expensive than gamestop on ALL of the games we bought by 3 to 8 dollars. I bought 5 games and 3 dvds for 42 bucks. Even told me that ps1 games could be played on my ps3 console which I didnt know! Lol. Great first experience will be back in 2 weeks
Went for Wednesday night pinball tournament that starts at 7pm. Fun time, nice people
Great place. Fun for all.
Great. Has almost any game you could think of.
Fun place. Great price
Cool
Fun games, but needs sanitized. BO
Part arcade part video game store. $5/hr or $10 all day to play the games here. Or you can just come and shop. They have an extensive selection of older console games. NES, Atari, gameboy, etc. They also have controllers and consoles for sale. They tend to focus on older used games and items. They also have a huge wall of DVDs and bluray for sale. Personally I come here for pinball. They have 6-8 machines all on freeplay (with paid admission) they are mostly older solid state machines from the late 70s and 80s. They also do private parties and birthday parties here. Great prices on everything. The place isnt fancy but its clean and well lit. A great addition to the neighborhood.
Great vintage pinball and arcade games!
5 bucks an hour to play classic games. Something to do every once in awhile.
Super fun and cheap place!
So slow to download a game took half an hour
Super fun and super cheap!
Cheap to go. Old school. Seemed a bit run down though
Best gaming place
Dark. Small. Some of the games dont work. Cold.... just not fun.
Great place to take the kids
It was okay. Disappointed they didnt have centipede and a lot of the games werent even turned on.
This place is AWESOME!
1. Sold me a PS1 that was broke.2. Said they open at 2. Waited 20 mins for someone to arrive.3. It smells.
