The owners of this establishment are extremely considerate of their customers, and they have an excellent rewards system where every dollar you spend earns a dollar credit towards singles!
Great prices and atmosphere but they could do better at stocking products. Much of the merchandise here will never see the light of day because there simply isnt a market for 1998 buffy the vampire slayer trading cards... That being said the brothers are both helpful and know how to conduct business in a mom/pop environment. I will always recommend to friends to check this store out, however they should step up their ordering and cater to their customers for their business to thrive.
I found this place through Google and decided to stop there to check it out for yugioh cards. Before I get to what I didnt like I will say that this store has a great product to credit trade in where if you buy some products then they will give you card singles for free. What I didnt like is being ripped off however, what I mean is they have specialty binders that have rare cards in them ranging from 3 to 12 ish dollars and I saw one that I need for my yugioh deck and it was listed as 9 dollars but since they had the product credit value I thought I could just get some booster packs. They were kind enough to give me a little more credit but ill speak on that fiasco in a second. So I got the 9 dollar card and some packs not knowing what the value of the card was before hand. A few days later I come across another card shop and shows me that the same card I bought was marked for 1 DOLLAR!!!! I then looked online and saw that there were so many places with that card for way less money. And as for the credit mentioned earlier the nice man gave me some extra to use next time but since I was from out of town he suggested I get some snacks so I did and when I got in the car and left I found out that almost every candy I got was expired by about a year. Bottom of the line is dont buy the rare cards unless you want to overpay and make sure to check the expiration date on the food.
Really helpful and friendly! Ill be back!
Absolutely love the place. Owners treat you like family, are willing to teach you about any games you dont know about, and the promotions and credit make it the best deal too. Highly reccomend🔥
Best game shop Ive ever been to. The owners are nice and they have fair prices.
I dont think Ill ever find another gaming store as cool as Dragon Maze. The owners are wonderful; they really know their stuff and put in the extra effort to answer questions and share their love of all things geeky. Theyve got a good selection of merchandise and are willing to put in special orders for anything they dont have in stock. They are patient with newbies and children, and treat return customers as a part of the family. Their tournaments and roleplay nights are welcoming, challenging, and fun.On top of running a cool little store, they also do a lot to give back to the community. Whether by running canned food drives, or simply by giving teens and young adults a safe and welcoming place to go. Truly, five stars is NOT enough.
Great place to go with your kid who is into gaming. This quickly became my sons favorite place in the world to go. Dont forget, you can play too! I have had great, great times at the Dragon Maze. The owners are friendly, generous with their time and will educate you about various games. Very cool place, a successful store.
The Dragon Maze is hands down the best example of a store I have ever seen. The owners obviously love what they do, they are friendly, and dont mind if you spend hours in their store just browsing the stock, only to walk out with $10 of product. They offer more deals than I can even begin to describe; Each thing you buy seems to earn you more free stuff. Anybody interested in nerdy games will be very happy here, with everything from Dungeons and Dragons to Magic the Gathering, and everything in between. I completely recommend that you visit this store.
Glad youre still open
Dragon Maze has a core of loyal regulars for good reason. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable guys, who love gaming and genuinely seem interested in providing the most possible value for your dollar. So, if youve ever been interested in dice or dragons or space battles, you should stop in and check the store out.
Ok I am gonna write about the stuff that the rest of these reviews fail to mention. I will not argue that the brothers who own and run the shop are nice guys. They would go through hell for their customers, and they like to have the company of being with fellow table top gamers. But there is some downsides to them, or should I say there is a down side to one of the brothers.I will not disclose his name because after a few times visiting it will become apparent who I mean. This individual during a hosted game night will interrupt the game just to complain and nag his brother about a chore instead of being professional and waiting till the session is over. This individual is over zealous with his promotions and does not like to take no for an answer. This brother has a no outside food policy in place but they have no problem getting out their own food and eating it in front of you. This has led me and a couple people I know from ever returning. If this individual ever figures it out we would probably return and offer them our money for goods once more.
Very friendly people, have a nice rewards system when buying MTG cards, lots of range and a huge amount of individual cards to look at! Would definitely go back!
Great place to play your favorite games
I game there weekly. Staff is friendly and works very hard to get you what you are seeking. Fun games and even parties!
Quaint little shop, easy to miss. Cluttered, in a good way. Worth checking out.
I love the place! I role play there two times a week! they have tons pf cool stuff to buy!
Lots of stuff, nice cosy place, friendly staff and customers. They might not have every single game you can think of, but they have a lot considering how small the town is. Role-playing nights all the time, customers just visiting this place like they would have been coming to their own homes, chatting, laughing. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere. It might not be a love on first sight, but if you give it thirty minutes, youll simply want to come back every week.I spent excessive amount of time here when visiting US five years ago. When I reentered US five years later, I knew, that I have to pay the store a visit. I drove 300 miles from Canada and back, just to be in this store once again. And that can tell you a lot :)
The Dragon Maze is an amazing place to go to and purchase table top gaming products. They have multitudes of magic the gathering, yugioh, pokemon, L5R CCG, and much more. They have full games, minis, sleeves, dice, playmats, deckboxes and more. Also if they dont have it in house and youre fine with waiting, theyll do their best to get it ordered for you as soon as they can. Really awesome people. Whats more, they give out credit for almost anything you can buy in store AND they host a weekle game on almost every night of the week.
Great atmosphere, friendly people, awesome game nights
Love the credit system
