Such wonderful items - each piece unique and special. Worth going into store just for the experience and education. Gift items for every type of occasion and price point. Make a point to go often as there is always something new and interesting!
This little shop was such a lucky find! My husband and I were in Newport for a couple days for a little get a way. We happened upon this shop, and were immediately glad we did. The store owner Deborah was so friendly and really informative about what she sold. I bought a sterling silver bangle bracelet she made-so beautiful and well crafted. I am looking forward to visiting again when we are back in town!
Wonderful store with amazing locally done art and jewelry. The local artist who owns the store (Deborah) does amazing jewelry that is well crafted. If you want something really unique and special I highly recommend this store! Perfect place to get a gift for that special someone in your life! :)
My husband Chuck was very ill for 15 months, and I tried to handle the store as best as possible while under deep stress & caring for him, going to doctors etc. My husband died in January. My mind is still recovering, Im now getting better at remembering to remove price tags and where I put contact info etc. I actually did mail the refund check, plus 10% extra, to her husbands place of business. Please forgive me.in Kind, Deborah
I always enjoy coming in this store. Such creativity and beautiful pieces. And I remember both you and your husband Chuck from our visits. He would speak so highly of your work! And you were both great to talk to! So sorry for your loss
This shop is full of treasures. There is something for most price points but bring a lot of money because you will want a few treasures for yourself. Deborah is sweet and full of light. She will chat you up at the slightest encounter. Definitely worth visiting as you walk downtown.
The worst, most dishonest experience we ever had. We purchased an antique frame with a painting, and the frame needed a little bit of repair. The person who said she owned the place, Deborah, offered to repair the frame so long as we left the purchase price. We gave her $200, and she said she would call us in a week or two to let us know we could pick it up. Not getting a call, we called her, and she said she had been sick or something and would get right to it. We called again a couple of weeks later, and we got the same story. Then, we called again and she told us that she forgot we had purchased it and sold it to someone else (imagine that !!), and that she would immediately refund us. We awaited the check, and it turned out to be the proverbial check is in the mail. We called (when she picked up it was oh, Im sorry, I forgot, Ill get it out right away), we wrote, we even had a lawyer send her a certified letter. Bottom line - we got stiffed, never saw a penny in refund. Run for your life from this business. We wonder how many others she sold it to . . . at least now we know what friendly gifts really means. Gifts from us!
Bought a starfish Christmas tree last week were told they could ship out which was great till we got the bill $30 and they never removed the price and our note was never put in! Very disappointed will never shop again
Such a treasure on Thames Street.
