This Stop&Shop has slowly migrated to ALL customer operated check-outs, and the delays/confusion/backups these cause is insufferable. I feel sympathy for the manager who has to run around to every check-out and try to keep things running, but this cost savings strategy makes me loath the thought of visiting. Stop&Shop knows what theyre doing, its a prime location that will get the foot traffic regardless, but its really a shame how this store is operated.

Impressive selection of prepared delicious sandwiches. Very clean. Isles are a bit tight. Nice variety of raw and prepared foods.

Nice grocery store. We are from out of state. Ask them if they have a store card you can use for discounts vs getting one if your not from area.

This place is a smaller store so they dont always have everything but the prices are pretty reasonable and the staff helped me find things I couldnt find.

Some deals on food are better than Walmart ➕they’re closest to where we are staying.

Your cashier Gianna is incredibly rude. Twice now I needed to ask for help ...she seemed “bothered” that she had to come over to the self checkout to reverse an item that didn’t ring up on sale.She was very rude in how she spoke to me and customer behind me was shocked at her behavior. Wow! I go in your store quite a bit... she shouldn’t be working with the public!

Large Supermarket, with variety of produce, meat, dairy, florist, general packaged and canned foods

Best grocery shop in the area! They carry a wide variety of fish from around the world. Their staff is also very friendly and professional. When I first entered this grocery shop, I was very so shocked because the place was very clean and well-organized. A strong recommendation for you! Cheers for your success, guys!

It was a zoo. No social distancing and a cashier (supervisor?) named Sarah standing at the front where everyone had to pass to exit wouldn’t put her mask up over her nose. Not going back.

I was a customer at young man Luis’s register this morning and I just have to comment on his professionalism under pressure. The man in front of me bought nearly 500.00 in food as I watched Luis handle produce codes and did everything perfectly. He was so nice although I’m sure he must have been exhausted.

This is a #1 Loser store. It is consistently understaffed. I went in at 9am this morning. The Customer Service desks sign says Open 8am to 8pm. Guess what...no one was there. When I asked a staff member, her reply...No one has volunteered for it yet. Come back in a half hour. Really? I think not. For beautiful Bellevue Avenue to have such a sloppy store is a disgrace.

This small stop and shop in Newport is fair to ok. But the bathroom was filthy. Stock level were ok but the store as a whole was kinda messy. Only one cashier the rest is filled with self checkout.

Very nice to finally hit a grocery store with a wide variety of products at good prices. Sailing has a drawback we cant always find a decent grocery store. We will be doing all of our shopping here.

Bellevue ave is a very busy location and the most convenient. However, it is not a Super store all items arent stocked. The produce section is the best and the staff is wonderful!

Good location very visible from the street. The store was well stocked and the prices are not bad . However the store is very small. The employees here are always friendly and I get in and out fast. Parking can be a little tight.

Clean store, small aisles .... Management isnt very friendly asking for help while looking for something they try to find someone else to assist you, so they dont have to do the work. Otherwise other employees are always willing to help out no matter what .. GREAT team members!

Smaller than most Stop and Shop and much smaller than a super. It has a great deli and prepared foods area if small. They keep it clean but the aisles are small good for quick runs.

A small but fabulous museum on Bellevue Avenue in Newport, RI. About 15 cars at a time are on display from a collection numbering about 200. Admission is $14 for adults, $10 for seniors. Both foreign and domestic cars are on display and the restorations are excellent.

Pleasant staff and clean. Small but has most items. Very disappointed that they no longer have locally caught fresh fish from Fishermans Association. Will need to assess whether I should change stores. This was a big draw for me.

I love the Stop & Shop on Bellevue. If you EVER install automated cashiers there my wife and I will never shop there again. I went to an automated Stop & Shop cashier in Middletown, RI and was appalled. I had to ask the attendant for help multiple times. Good variety of common food items. Items like razors were hard to find as they were hanging. Lines took a while even though there werent many people in them. Suboptimal parking situation.

Its a bit small, but this grocery store is well-placed, with good accessability and a decent produce section. The store is good for cars, pedestrians, and even has a bike rack for bikers.

Decent shop with most of the necessities. Store is a bit crowded and hard to navigate. Overall not a bad place to grab a few things, but would go to the larger location for weekly shopping.

Nice clean organized stop and shop, it can be a bit tight in a few places. yiu can get everything youd expect from a stop and shop. this location has a pretty decent selection for a small place they also have a few things other locations dont, like lobsters. the employees are great. watch out during the summer it can get crowded and takes a bit to check out.

Kind of dirty, especially for being on Bellevue Ave (the Mansion area of town), never enough cashiers and just all in all depressing. Good for boxed basics, sugar, flour, pasta etc... Stay away from the meat department!

Great little neighborhood supermarket. Usually has everything you need. I would go to one of the larger nearby supermarkets for something specific, but this has a little of everything.

This stop and shop blows. Part of it is due to the very limited amount of space but... having lived in Newport a couple of years now, we only go to this location for last minute items like milk, butter, or nonperishables. I have bought rotten meat from them twice, and rotten mozzarella as well. Their produce selection is very limited and always in poor shape. If its a real grocery run, take the extra ten minutes and go to either of the other two stop and shops, or to the Shaws in Middletown. Any of those options are better in quality and selection, and are ten minutes or less travel time. The only saving grace to this place is the blond haired chick who works in management. I dont know her name but she is helpful and not an idiot.

Nice grocery store in the midst of a very busy / touristy area of Newport. Great place to stop in and get what you need.

This is one of my favourite places to shop. Its a neat and friendly experience in Attleboro, MA. I usually get there around 6 or 7 PM. YOU know what happens-all the sale items are gone and I start to feel a bit disappointed and ask if there is any more. Of course the answer is always let me go see. I get the answer that there will be more tomorrow. But I cant be here then, so the manager says to me, how about this, and that and they wii be at the sale price. I am grateful and I return home to cook some of it for supper. Ill post a photo, the results of last weeks visit.

The store is small, but ok. Today I went shopping there, and upon checkout the cashier bagged my groceries. I had purchased entamans chocolate eclairs. When I got home the box was packed sideways in the bag resulting in all the eclairs rolling on top of each other. I wish the grocery store would teach their personal how to bag properly. These things happen frequently and Id rather just bag myself. Some just dont know how to properly do it. ANNOYING!!!

Went to buy a kale salad mixture saddly they were sold out..I found the prices for organic eggs expensive 5.99 to 6.99.Needless to say I did not buy them there, in fact I found just about everything 25% more expensive then shaws Middletown.. Wont be shopping there again for a long while..

Too much stuff in the aisles. So many displays everywhere that it starts looking like a junk shop. The selection is good and the staff is friendly.

There a nice quick place to shop a bit overpriced I believe due to the strike they had but other than shaws which is terrible to shop at the workers are just plane rude at Shaws .stop an shop is my choice.

Well as I see it its much ado about something that does not effect me personally. BUT aa a shopper at this location it makes.me wonder why the cleanliness and displays and the over abundance could not have been displayed for the regular.shopper.I have asked for a simple product that is available at all.other stores. A.salmon.pate.for my cat by Sheba. They carry brand but managers cant get it.At least req.5 times. The fish prices are compatible to retail fishmarkets so why not get the freshest available. Which is what I did today.Anthonys. Finally the staff has never been anything but helpful. The parade of know it alls left me wondering why this shining could not have been done at night.
