Travelling from Wisconsin to Arizona to relocate. Came in early this morning, like 5:00 a.m., in a U-Haul truck with family, pouring rain, big storm front passing. Wife wanted to crash for a few but we couldnt afford paying full rate for only 6 hours of sleep. Tyler got on the phone with Marisa and hooked us up, fixed it so we could wait out the storm and check out the next day for the same price and even accommodated our 2 little Chihuahuas! OUTSTANDING SERVICE!Next day had a great late breakfast in the diner. Little boy hung out with me in the drivers lounge, wifey did needle point in the room watching Friends reruns. I played video games on my laptop...I remember as a child seeing truck stops like this all across the country when travelling with my parents, but they seem to have all been replaced with convenience store style quick stops? This place is great! Family friendly and I recommend to anyone passing thru. Definitely beats the chain franchises every time!Thank you Tyler and Marisa, I hope the owners appreciate you both!

Loved this truck stop for many years. The food, showers and bathrooms, fuel prices where all amazing......recently sold to piliot. wont stop here anymore.

Sold out to PILOT. Ughhhh. Transfer to new ownership was going on while I stopped 11/2/21. Another unique privately owned stop now turning into a bland generic corporate pee jug filled nightmare.

This truck stop was a very pleasant surprise after being on the road all day. Theres plenty of truck parking and theyre open 24/7. The bathrooms were clean and they have a restaurant with outstanding food. In the morning I bought one of the typical premade breakfast sandwiches and even that was delicious. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

The ladies were very nice and fast. Restrooms were clean, and the store was slightly under renovation. Looks like an upgrade to me. Even under construction, Im happy to go there anytime. Thank you!!

Plenty of truck parking. The store inside was fine. Wide variety of items, some youll need and some maybe not so much. They get 4 stars because in the womans bathroom there is only 1 sink that works consistently. A comfortable, reliable bathroom matters when you live life on the road.

We absolutely enjoyed the service that we received at this stop from start to finish. The showers are clean as we are Truckers and appreciate cleanliness away from home, the restaurant inside provides warm nutritious meals and a small but mighty salad bar.KIM was our server and she went above and beyond in great customer service. I highly recommend this stop and Kim😁

With NO fanfare the business has changed hands. The Newells, apparently, are gone. Service for the fuel operations are just okay and will improve as time goes on. The restaurant might get an update and the food is family oriented meat and potato. Excellent food quality and service. Dessert selection, ALL homemade is the BEST. Im a frequent customer with weekly visits.

Monday morning, we had an excellent waiter. We were a large group and he handled it with ease.

I make a point to stop everytime Im in the area. Flatbed equipment is reasonably priced, some of it a lot cheaper than other truck stops. Theres a new owner from what Ive Been told so Im hoping things dont change much.

Overall this place is A1! Good food at the restaurant if ur looking for a tasty meal away from home. Friendliest attendants at the fuel desk. Always clean. Now I will say Ive had a couple incidents where my property was stolen (cellphone/keys) from the arcade area there. I would have liked more concern shown for that...word of caution: leave valuables in vehicle or home. Overall: good place!

Truckers, Dont waste your time coming here. Inattentive Staff. Wanted to eat Breakfast but that didnt happen. Sat waiting for someone to take my order, when she finally showed back up, took a regular Customers order first and ignored me! Went back to Complain to Management and explain why I left and another lady interrupted the conversation to inject why I should pay my bill Didnt have one! Decided to grab a drink in the Store and same inattentive staff problems. Claim they are severely short handed. Pay more and you wont be! Truck parking not that great. Poorly laid out. I had heard good things and read the reviews. Huge disappintment and leaving hungry. Hot Bar sucks to. Wont be back.

When you see a “travel center” sign on the interstate and you exit, believing you’ll arrive at a multi pump convenience center and find that there are 3 pumps, and the one you chose isn’t working. Couldn’t even see a clear entrance to the inside. Waste of time.

The outside is is a little dated but I think they are working on that. Inside is immaculate with fully stocked shelves with all kinds of goodies to choose from. The new owner and I had a nice talk because it turns out that he is a fellow Houstonian. He has lived there for years only 2 exits up from where I live. Go Stros.

Great rest stop, remodeled a few years ago. I travel a lot from Tx to Nebraska, this has been a regular stop for over 30 years.

I could not find what I needed at the convenience store here. I ended up going across the street to the gas station mini Mart and shopping there.

Very nice truck plaza. I didnt get to try the restaurant. Parking area is very dark at night.

Very nice establishment, one of the Best showers HOWEVER, The towels reeked of sweat as soon as I started to dry off. PLEASE wash towels properly, preferably with laundry detergent that works. Bathrooms extremely clean & sanitized

Used to be a beacon for truckers. Place has been run down pretty bad over the last few years. Current management says they are working on a lot of things right now. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out in the next few months. Really hope they bring this place back to its former glory.

I stole from this store & got thanked for it. Fully intending to pay for the book in my hand, I completely forgot it was there. Upon my realisation I called em up and they were great about it. I paid for it over the phone...& was thanked for making that call.

Dont let the look deceive you. It looks old and crusty but it had a great stocked gift shop and very clean restrooms!

Clean restrooms, store, and restaurant at this cool retro building. Not enough old truck stops left like this, and with quality restaurants to boot! Two areas of truck parking. The restaurant staff was friendly. My friends all had breakfast, and said it was great and filling. I went for the buffet of fried chicken, ribs, turkey & stuffing, incredible mac & cheese, and some other stuff. I wish customers wore their masks around the place, but at least the staff had theirs on. The buffet had a server so customers weren’t touching utensils. I left full and happy.

The restaurant is open but should not be. This place is a disaster more and more every time I show up here. The hot bat in the truck stop is set up and ignored for the rest of the day, the bathrooms are clean thats about all this has going for it. KFC across the street is drive thru only. Restock your shelves and maybe pretend to care about this place.

The travel store has clean restrooms. There is a good selection of food stuffs at reasonable prices.The truck parking lot is questionable, because of the large potholes. There is ample parking and there is a KFC across the street.

My Mom, son, and I stopped at the restaurant for a bite to eat on our way to Lindsborg. The coffee was weak and I have a feeling the biscuits and gravy were warmed up in a microwave.The #1 reason Im giving only 1 star is because of what the man that sat us did. My son, that is 4, was really excited for our day trip and was talking loudly. Id just told him that he needed to calm down and not speak so loudly. I hadnt even closed my mouth from the last word I had spoken when the man setting us, whom we had never met before, shushed my son. Not cool.
