A lot of great changes here. The new owners are remodeling it and updating the store.

Save A Lot food store is clean, well lighted, plenty of room to move around if you utilize a powerchair or walker. Plenty of parking with handicapped spots. Its in a good location and on the bus line. With a short walk you could have access to numerous other stores. It is close to Niagara transportation center.

Ill never forget, coming here, a few years ago and thinking that I was at a normal grocery store when I went to buy a dessert and saw that there was green mold on it! I looked at the expiry date and noticed that there was as sticker placed on top of the expiry date with a new expiry date that was obviously a lie. What a disgusting store that knowingly sells expired products! I never stepped foot in Save A Lot again.

Pros: Cheap and convenient shopping. Cashiers are very nice and helpful.Cons: Not much variety in produce and products.

GET RID OF WHOEVER RUNS YOUR MEAT DEPT.!!!!!! Once again, bad ground beef. I should have known: just about everything is marked manager special on meat case items....Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE BAD AND YOU STILL TRY AND SELL THEM! And packed on info is never stated or its just covered up with another sticker.Unacceptable.

This location is always rather unclean and very disorganized. They usually have several items out of stock, even main staple items. The employees always seem rude to me and are rather slow on check out. I only visit this location if I am already in this area for something else.
