I just had a great experience with Becca in the bakery! She printed some edible images for a cake that I’m making and went above and beyond to make sure I got the size and image that I needed. Her patience and helpfulness is greatly appreciated!!

50 people in line Sunday night with 0 cash registers with live person there. ZERO.And had 4-6 selfserv checkouts open. Like i said place was booming and Kroger cares so little they couldnt open not even 1 register.

Kroger seems to have switched vendor that supplied their deli chicken because not only is it not as good but usually there is no chicken cooked anyway. I thought it was best chicken to be had. Now dont even buy it

A smaller neighborhood kroger, the selection could be expanded but the associates are always nice.

I love this big-little grocery store. A very wide selection of fruit and bakery, meat prices are decent even if the variety isnt as wide as I like, and the whole place is just easy to get in and out of. I always feel that things are neat and orderly. And its so much nicer than going into these mega stores. They have more selection but higher prices and you end up staying there too long. Mostly I just want to get in and out.The single star removal is for lack of efficiency at the customer help station up front. Ive had trouble twice trying to get help there that knew what was going on.

This is the most unprofessional store I’ve ever been to.from mangers to employees.The mangers will take up for they employees even when they are in the wrong.They will let them talk to you any kind of way and not get in any trouble.Mostly anyone working up front is rude.they only have one line open for the whole store everyday.I was in on the day it started snowing and everyone was in one line that was all the way to the freezers.and you better not ask them to open anymore lines or the will be very rude.And as for the store manager he’s very rude and unprofessional.Stuff is always out of date.They never stock.The produce section is the only thang in the store that is always fresh nice and clean.

Floral department has terrible customer service and are extremely rude.

Typically, I love our Nicholasville Kroger and do the majority of my shopping there, but Im concerned by how quickly this location ditched their social distancing measures (i.e. directional signs and warnings) so early in the game.

I would avoid this particular Kroger like the plague, during the pandemic. I’ve observed several employees not wearing masks. Additionally, I’ve observed employees not properly wearing masks and not maintaining proper social distancing from customers. This particular store does not seem to enforce the mask mandate because I have observed a high percentage of customers who do not wear masks. I would strongly recommend you visit another Kroger store, if you’re concerned about your or your family’s safety, because every other Kroger store I’ve been to takes their customers’ and employees’ safety seriously; this store does not.

A nice store with friendly staff. I did some grocery shopping while visiting the area and they have a self-scan to your cart program. I chose not to do that but it looked neat. Everything on my shopping list was in stock, just not in the brands I usually buy. Rated 4 stars because it was quite busy (10+ people in line) and there were only 2 checkout lanes open.

Cashiers friendly nature. Reaching out to talk to all the customers. I felt really welcomed there. Plus all other employees were speaking to customers as well. Great job everyone!

Large, well-stocked, CLEAN, and easily navigated. I liked the self checkout and was glad there was an attendant there when I needed help. There is a wine /liquor store attached to the grocery store, which also sells beer. Produce, meat, deli, and bakery all were very neat and clean with a great variety and fresh items.

Helpful people. Dont like the remodel. Much better the old way. Need more handicap buggies. Great store

Workers are friendly and usually helpful, but more often than not when I go in half the stuff I came in for is not stocked. I dont know if its a staffing problem or someone needs to revise their product ordering, but its caused me to just go elsewhere to shop. If I have to go somewhere else to get what they dont have, I just dont bother stopping there in the first place anymore.

Clean store with decent prices. Love their plant selection in the summer and pumpkins in fall. Staff isnt always the friendliest, but its conveniently located close to home with a good selection of items.

Only one register open.. theyre forcing you to check out yourself... I dont have a big problem with self check out,, but it took forever to get out of there,, the machine shut down, had to wait for the guy to come over,,, he was working like 10 other machines.... really... ill find a new store... weve used this Kroger for over 20 plus years but I think Im done!!!!

Not nearly as nice as the Krogers in Lexington, but they are in the process of renovation. But they have 8 self checkout lanes, which is awesome!The produce section is better than other grocery stores.

I just moved to Nicholasville and went to your Kroger store @995 S. main street. Your employees seems very friendly especially the meat department. You have some really good guys working back there. I did notice that the isles were not stocked very well though. Maybe it was because i was there in the evening hours. I do appreciate that you are close to where i live. Have a great day.

I live in Lexington but was in Nicholasville today with my cousin we stopped by the Kroger and I must say the employees here were the nicest people I have ever met. Very polite and well mannered and respectful employees. I wish more grocery store chains had employees like this store does! Kudos to you Kroger in Nicholasville!!!

This is a great homey Kroger. I always go there. Some of the checkouts are newly self checkout. The friendly employees are why we go there.

Prices are completely ridiculous. Could save $100 easily by going to Wal-Mart and more from Save-A-Lot. With the new store layout, there is very little variety. Wal-Mart has a better variety on sauces, spaghetti sauce... practically everything. Should have expected the ridiculous prices. They have to pass the millions given to UK athletics to name Kroger Field and the cost of the store renovation on to the customer.

Lack of 5 stars is due to lack of working, charged, safe electric wheel carts. Im an amputee, I HAVE to have use of a cart. I can and have waited for one to become available. But tonight, at 8pm with the parking lot low, Im told there is only 1 working and that one has a dead battery. The employee says I quote, we only have 1, theyre all broken & they wont buy new ones. Seriously? With all the money kroger just put into their store they can figure out how to keep some carts working? I know us disabled are few but we now have to share 1 working cart? Get it together kroger! What about the stores shutting down in Tenn? Can you ship those around? Just a thought?

The deli has good selections of lunch meat n some prepared salads, but most of the service sucks.and when I worked there they had roaches in the deli. I have taken pictures and also let management know and they seemed unconcerned. But as far as the meats in the meat department, I shop there just for the meats, krogers has good meats, I dont shop anywhere else for meats like steaks, chickens, pork, so on .

The pharmacy at this Kroger is absolutely horrible. They refused to fill my daughters prescription because it was incomplete. The doctor left ONE word off of the prescription...evening. Common sense should have told them what it was. And no, this was NOT for any schedule drug. They never told me about it when I called to check on the prescription, they waited until AFTER the doctors office was closed. When my wife stopped to pick up the medicine, she was basically told to go to another pharmacy. After this, I didnt need them to tell me that. Then they claimed that they couldnt get ahold of the doctor, something that took me all of FIVE MINUTES to do. All they had to do was listen to the entire message on his machine to get his number. If I could rate this a ZERO, I would.

I had a very pleasant shopping adventure at this kroger I found the staff very helpful and curtious, from the meat department to the cashier, the bagging person and even the customer service lady. It makes for a nice time to go grocery shopping which is not an easy task unless you are greeted by pleasant employees in all the departments as I where. Thank you. Happy Holidays.

I use to go to this location very often because it was so convenient and their cupcakes with whipped icing is the best......but an employee.actually 2 and men at that had started an altercation with me so now Im no longer allowed in the store although they started with me but oh well I have others that go for me and I still use their Redbox so no feelings hurt

The Kroger store on Main Street in Nicholasville Ky has raised its prices on a gallon of milk 6 times in the last 6 months. It is now $2.79 a gallon. Wal-Mart is $2.19, The Kroger st Brandon Crossing in Nicholasville is $2.19.I asked the manager why the price difference, and he stated that compare their prices to the local Wal-Mart and when I told him that I purchased a gallon of milk at Wal-Mart the week prior for $2.19, he had no explanation.

Quick trip in and out. Was making dinner and realized I was short a few ingredients. Had to have dat sour cream!

We have the best Kroger in Nicholasville. Friendly staff and free fruit for the kids. A+

Good food and meats. Good coupons Cheap gas out front Good parking. Hard to negotiate the pumps with a large vehicle or trailer.

Always have items stocked and if you want fresh beef or fish that they get in daily I would highly recommend. Prices are not too bad but they do have pretty good sales

Guys standing outside before close telling customers or as I see it as guests that there closed or closing. If your open your open. If people are still inside shopping your open to a point. Dont have a bouncing staff outside smoking telling people they are closing up deterring people away from a grocery.

This is my favorite Kroger store. Its clean, always stocked, workers are friendly, and they have the self checkouts but usually the regular check out lines move really quick.

This is a neighborhood Kroger. This type of Kroger is smaller than the Market Place Krogers. The employees are very helpful and friendly however their item selections are smaller. Meat selection is also smaller.

They have made it much better but you have to still hunt for what you want

The employees are great and helpful, but my reading has to do with the location and organization of the store. There is no phone signal beyond the doors and with a lack of wifi, you have to pre load your digital deals on the app and keep it open before you go in. The store is also not as logically arranged as other Kroger stores I have been in.

They do have a large selection but some of the most popular items seam always to be empty.

Worst Kroger location ever!!! Will Avoid this location from now on. Ive had to take food back many times due to it being expired and then having to deal with Arlene, at the customer service desk who is as rude as she is unprofessional. Id much rather spend the extra time and gas and drive to Brannon Crossing Kroger which has a much nicer inventory, food that is not expired and much friendlier staff.

Most of the employees are friendly, but I usually have to go to Walmart for 90% of my groceries. They almost never have what I need. Theres a spot for it, but its just not there. There have been several occasions that almost the entire produce section was rotting. Like mold going on the outside or soft and mushy when it shouldnt be.

I swear in my 29 years on earth I have NEVER seen a pharmacy take so damn long to fill prescriptions let alone 1 there are cities much larger than this that do not take that long I was in Lexington the other day it took ten min. To get one filled and today Im sick and I call Kroger here in nicholasville to transfer a medicine from Lexington and they want to tell me it flippin takes over 4 hours to transfer and fill 1 prescription ONE... UNO... THAT IS JUST REALLY RIDICULOUS TO ME AND IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT BUT IM STEPPING UP AND SAYIN SOMETHING FOR ALL THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO HAS HAD TROUBLE WITH THE KROGER PHARMACY IN NICHOLASVILLE RIGHT BY OLLIES AND NOT ONLY ARE THEY SLOWER THAN DAMN TURTLES SOME... NOT ALL SOME OF THE WORKERS ARE REALLY RUDE ALSO...

I really enjoy this Kroger at the early hours of the morning because its not crowded. That being said only the Uscan and one lane is open that early and using UScan is frustrating because the machines constantly call the attendants over for no reason, which is fine, but the attendant never comes. Theyre either too busy talking to someone else or I cant even see them. Also baggers will walk off during the day in the middle of bagging your stuff and you just have to take over. I love the selection here but dislike the service. Im also really enjoying the fruit that is being offered up to kids, it makes trips with my son much more bearable.

I usually dont complain but I just did the scan it yourself hand held and the thing wasnt working it wanted to not accept some items and some it did. Then when I went to check out i knew Id have to scan a few that did go thru but when i changed over to register it messed up again so I went thru a line with a human. Some kid came and said u have to do those at self check so I moved again and he checked a few of my items and once again that thing said not accepted that some items were rang and some that said they went thru before he said didnt so he said go to another register so we tried to meeting all our things again and we were told move to another reg again so with my baby acting up I finally got rang thru but only the necessities the rest of school supplies mostly had to stay so the long trip could be over with. And these rude kids should habe helped instead sending us to where we started...

The last 4 times weve been here there were 1 or 2 registers open and no one bagging groceries. Self checkout works ok if you ha e a few items but when youve got a cart full of items it doesnt work well. Seems they are trying to force you to use the self checkout. We will take our business elsewhere.

I love this location! I do hope they get the Boarshead lunchmeat and that they get the salad bar like other Krogers after they finish their renovations though.
