Prices are average to high, but usually have decent sale or clearance items. Clean and easy to shop.

I share a common complaint with a lot of these reviews, (while most of them are dated back to the old location in the eastwood mall, the same thing still applies here) that being most of the merchandise is overpriced. they sell lots of great stuff here i wont doubt that, but some of it is quite absurd. ive also seen complaints about a male associate who cant seem to respect personal boundaries, and smells like B.O.? i really hope they got rid of that worker, fortunately i dont have any experiences with him, i just thought that was... interesting, to say the least. other than the overpriced merchandise, another personal complaint is how long the employees take at checkout, every single time ive bought something from here, no matter the worker, the checkout takes way too long. theyre always talking to eachother and never have the registers filled with change.

FYE is dead and has been dead for years. Overpriced beyond belief. Weird out-of-season stock. Its almost like they are trying to be Hot Topic from 2007. Plus their deals are always really weird, like buy two hats and pay double on the third but here, have this expired white chocolate reptar bar that we promise was gross even before it expired. And they seem to only employee douchebags who overshare the most absurd details of their existence while they type in your email. This store just needs to die for good and join Circuit City in retail Hell.

I am an often shopper at the Niles location, love the store and what it has to offer but there is a male associate who works there and I cannot bring myself to shop in this store because of his b.o. It is so bad that you can almost smell it when you walk in the door. He follows you around and makes you very uncomfortable because all you can see and smell are his pit stains. Not sure how anyone would want to shop in this store while he is working.

The return policy for sale items at FYE is absolutely absurd. On more than one occassion we were unable to return or even exchange items received as gifts because they may have been sold on sale buy one get one free and could have been the free item. Any reputable store would split the cost of the paid item between the two. This is extremely poor customer service and just plain bad business. With so many easier and more convenient shopping options its actually a pretty risky choice. We will NOT be spending our money at FYE in the future and will be encouraging our family and friends to shop elsewhere as well.

I love the store and what it provides, they have plenty of variety and pop culture to be seen and held. Although, me and my friends tend to stay away from this location due to the male sales associate. Overall he makes us feel uncomfortable and not want to enter the store, it could be some social anxiety but I feel followed and talked to 24/7 of what I’m looking at. The first time I saw him I complimented his lanyard and he insisted he had a girlfriend? Not sure what that had to do with anything but okay? It’s just the hint of attitude and uncomfortable air that I stay away from this location unless the two girls are working, they’re so sweet, greeting us and making sure we’re okay then minding their own business. I honestly feel hounded and kinda degraded when I’m in that store. But this has nothing to do with the things they sell or the views of FYE, but just a customer speaking up for myself, three other girls and even some of the workers.

So much cool stuff and pricing varies.. You can get a good deal if it on sale if its not dont buy it.

Clean store and well stocked.

Very obnoxious and ill mannered employees. Apparently, if you are not standing directly in front of a Bluetooth sound system as youre listening to test its sound quality, then technically you arent listening to it hence the employee has the right to question you & abruptly turn it off even after youve kindly informed her that youre still listening to it. Dont dare address another employee about it for resolve... She will matter of factly defend her co worker whether shes right or wrong while dismissing you as if you werent a potential customer!

Great place to find movies and electronics

Preordered a CD once about two weeks before the release date and made the required $5 deposit. Came in to get it the day it came out and they said they had no record of my preorder. I even asked them if I would need my receipt and they said no so I didn’t keep it. Not sure how you can have no record of taking someone’s money in your system. If it’s not in the system then where is it and what did it go towards? Never got my five dollars back even after arguing with them for five minutes so when I do I’ll change my review.

Female assoiate was texting and talking to some guy in a red hood, did not greet me ask me did I need help will never go in there again and will call customer service absolutely unacceptable

Dumbest store ever...if a album comes out on Friday the dont put it on the shelf till that next followong Friday...stupid smh. And the employees arent very smart either.
