Love me a used book store, you can always find a deal. The workers have always been pretty patient with me, but this place is always busy and I know some customers can be rude. Hope the staff are getting paid well — they put up with a lot!

7 DAY RETURN POLICY!!Wednesday, October 27, 21. I had the worst experience ever! I went to return books that I had just bought. My Shakespeare book had white makings on it. That I didnt notice before, but was really old. I paid at least 62.00 for these old books when I could have paid a Lower Amount on Amazon! I went to return them and one of the guys there with curly locks; like Shirely Temples! Acted like he didnt want to return my books and was very rude. I bought these books only at least 2 or 3 days ago! And he said its a 7 DAY RETURN POLICY and he cant REFUND ME!!! MIND YOU SEVEN DAYS RETURN POLICY 62.00 I had Paid ALoT of money. He kept saying that on the receipt its 7 days. Which is a Lie. I said, Half Price has never been 7 days!! I said I shopped her for a long time in the past. He claimed, it has always been that way, and kept putting the receipt in my face saying its on the RECEIPT!! Like, I couldnt Read! LIKE IM DUMB! I said please, get me your manager!!! The manager came; did the same thing. Argued; then said he will give me my money back this time! Again, Curly Hair, Shirely Temples Guy. Arguing Still!!!This Place, is a Total Rip Off!! Im surprised to still see it standing, when a lot of them, went out of business! One thing I do not tolerate. is workers and managers with an attitude. Who argue with Customers. EVER HEARD OF CUSTOMERS ALWAYS RIGHT????EVER SINCE COVID, this place has never been the same. No excellent book titles here. Just plain; old torn books. Not treated with care! And the place smells, like a barn, when you walk in!They expect you to pay a lot for their books, then dont want you to return, if something is wrong with them. Knowing that they have damage to them! Ridiculous!Dont Shop Here. If you do. Dont Pay Over $100 or More? cause you wont GET IT BACK!!!Also Go On AMAZON!!! OR FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! OLD TORN RAGGED BOOKS!

Great place to find hidden gems from music to movies and video games.

The store was clean and neatly organized. Second hand products are clean and gently used, there are lots of brand new items. Funko pops, action figures, keychains, trinkets, mugs, journals as well as books, comics, movies and music in multiple formats. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and truly awesome.

Nice variety of books, but if you are looking to sell books for profit don’t waste your time. They offer you pennies on the dollar. I had text book I could sell on Amazon and make 300$ profit. Half price offered me 1.50$. Major waste of time.

I took one star off because my OCD decided it wasnt quite organized up to my standards other than that theres a ton of stuff to watch read read and listen to prices dont seem bad and there are a few interesting collectible stuff hanging around on the walls

The store is tidy, well stocked, and reliable. Masks appear to be optional for vaccinated folks which was a shock for me as someone coming from the city. The staff were efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable.I came in when the shop opened with two large bags of books, and I was finished and had cash in hand in under an hour. Maybe even 30 minutes.

Chain used books and games store. I enjoy their rare section and the video game aisles. Good place to get used books at fair prices.

Amazing and extensive selection of books to fills everyones niche. They also sell CDs, vinyl, movies, toys and more. Plus you can always sell them your books and re-use the $$ to find more books!

I always find some rare or valuable book, videogame or collectables. Vinyls arent my thing but my niece found a few she was excited about... Wow I sound like my mom on Facebook...

Half Price Books has a large selection of books, cds, and dvds. Theyre neatly ordered and displayed. They also buy used books and media. They dont pay a fortune for the used stuff but its a great service and business model. Its great to have a place that will recirculate these things and save the world from more landfill.

Love this bookstore. The staff are awesome, they gave me very good book suggestions and were excellent conversationalists. I called ahead of time to make sure they had the book I was looking for and they put it on hold for me. There are a lot of categories here and all the prices are great. Theyre good for anything book related, including comics.

My whole family has loved coming here since the day they opened. I used to buy childrens books for my youngsters and now they buy them for their children. My son has quite a large DVD collection which started from this store. Cookbooks, Fiction, textbooks, music, you never know what magic might be found.

Staff is friendly and helpful. It is comfortable to browse and read your selections. Prices range from 30%-90% off the retail price.

In terms if selling, it has been disappointing to bring items in and getting close to nothing lately. Precovid, I would bring in my recent magazines and get about 50 cents each. Then, with Covid it became 25 cents.But the last visit, I brought 10 magazines (from this month) and about 2 books, and only got $1.30 for it. It was a waste of trip and better to just have just given the magazines away or LittleFreeLibrary it or something closer to home.

Need a book, videos, or music stop here first! The prices are great. If you dont find what youre looking for, go shop at a Barnes and Nobles or online. But stop here first for great finds that are easy on the wallet.

I’ve always enjoyed this location but I have to admit, they are pricey. I could get the same (used) books online for cheaper. Also, please be careful who you let into the store! I was hit on today by a strange 30 something year old man. He came up to me and started telling me how attractive I was and asked where I went to school? Which was odd. He seemed very fearful and wouldn’t make any eye contact with me. After he left, I felt completely frightened. I’m not sure but I had a gut feeling this had something to do with human trafficking. Ladies & men, please be aware of your surroundings. We need more security at retail stores!!!

Unfortunately, the publication I wanted was sold out, but I did find a couple of other books of interest at reasonable prices.

I have always liked half priced books in Indiana. The book prices here on some books are only a couple of dollars cheaper then the unused new book.

I love that it is easy to take in my read books so that I can make room for my new books ... even though they dont pay a lot of money, I know the books have a chance to be read again and fulfill their purpose! At least a get a little money back. There are so many great options to pick from ... including a 1939 book on Navajo Weaving!! Neat and clean, well stocked. Knowledgeable staff. Good coupons.

Friendly staff, and anyways a great selection. They reopened in-store shopping after the quarantine, and all staff wore masks. They limited amount of customers allowed in store at one time, which was great too!

Ive been coming here for years. The entire chain is great. This store I do my social ordering from because its close to home and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. If its available, they will help you find it. Video game prices seem to have gone up slightly, but book prices are typically half the cover price. This is an excellent chain and an excellent location.

What Changed? They used to have a good selection of used books, some of which were out of print. I guess they decided to compete with Barnes N Noble by selling new books, but their book selection is becoming rather skimpy.

This shop front is small in a good way. Not a lot of people are there at the same time and you can spend hours looking through their titles. They have all kinds of book there and if they dont have the one you want there, they can order it from another store. They have online delivery too if you know exactly what you want. If you need literary books or older edition textbooks you should try these stores they also have a ton of fiction and other genres along with some electronics, board games, and music related mediums there too.

I called ahead to check stock on an item. They not only had the item but offered to hold it for me up to a week. I went in two days later and purchased it. The staff was helpful and friendly. The store is clean and well organized. The prices are quite reasonable.

Four bankers boxes of nice hardcover books and I got $6, after waiting 40 minutes. Feel like Id been better off to donate them. If youre looking to buy, though, theres bargains galore!

Love this place! Am addicted 2 books on tape or CD, they have them, records, magazines and very good prices on calendars. They have vintage books and comic books. Most, but not all books are used but r in good shape. New toys and games..great place to explore! Thanks!

This place is pretty great. Believe it or not there was a book I was looking for on Amazon and couldnt find it. Went to Half Price Books and there it was. Calling this place a book store doesnt do it justice though. The have movies, comic books, albums, video games and much more. Check it out and make sure to bring some of your own books to sell back.
