They were hired by Sewell appliances (which they also own) to install our thermidor range. The range calls for a three-quarter inch gas line, they install a half inch. I call I tell him that they put the wrong size line on. They send someone else out to install the right line. Except, they sent the guy with another half inch line thinking that they were going to get it around me. When I asked the service guy why he only has a half inch? He says thats all they have and theyre not allowed to install 3/4 in! So, I get to go to the store and buy the proper line! Then on top of it they dont even put the legging on or any of the lower area! See the pictures, this is how they finish their work. Pretty poor service for such expensive equipment and have it installed wrong. Highly do not recommend using them.

After I had my vinyl replaced by my warranty company, the original company that removed my stove never came back; I was without my stove going on a week. BSI was able to come out the day after continuous calling to my warranty company and finally getting a response. Derrick arrived an hr earlier than the time window given, courtesy text/call 30 min before arrival, they were there 5 minutes max. Great experience following a dropped ball from another company.

Im not sure how to leave zero stars, but that needs to be an option. This review is a follow up to the one posted a few weeks ago about delivering a dead appliance to our home and completely botching the response. After a lot of phone calls and complaining, BSI finally agreed to replace our appliances. We selected new ones and we were told they would be delivered on July 16th first thing in the morning. We waited all day. No show, no call. I called around 1pm and had to leave a message for the appliance delivery scheduler, who neglected to return my call. We called the BSI sales rep, who was completely useless. He could only say Well, they could show up as late as 6 or 7pm. They finally called us at 5:30pm and showed up at 6:30pm. They had no microwave. They told us The microwave is back ordered until July 15th. Uh...that was yesterday?!?! They had no response. I called on July 19th and finally spoke to someone named Andy. He said that the microwave came to their warehouse the afternoon of July 16th, after the delivery drivers had left. Why they didnt tell us this is baffling. They agreed to deliver it on July 20th. It was delivered...and its damaged. Nobody at the warehouse bothered to inspect it. Now weve got a damaged microwave and have to deal with BSI all over again.They are an absolute and utter CLOWN SHOW. I have reached out to the home builder and will pressure them very hard to change their supplier. I am also reaching out to another home builder contact I have to ensure they dont use BSI.We have filed a complaint with the BBB and will follow up on that end as well.Never, ever consider using this joke of a business.

They were contracted by our builder to install an appliance package in our new construction home. When the gas range was installed, they failed to check to see if the unit even worked. It didnt. So it sat in the house for weeks while construction was being completed. After settlement, the issue was realized and BSI was contacted. We were told we would have to call Whirlpool. This is unacceptable, BSI should have noticed the issue upon installation. I tried calling Whirlpool and was unsatisfied with the results, so I called BSI back. They said they would swap out the range immediately, but have failed to follow through. The district sales manager has stopped responding to text messages, he doesnt answer the phone and his voicemail is full. Hopefully our builder will change vendors going forward. Unacceptable service.

I have contacted this company a total of 3 different times in regards to purchasing a kitchen appliance suite and have yet to get a response. I am not sure what the problem is other than no one obviously wants to sell any appliances.

This is the 2nd refrigerator 60 days. And have not had a operating refrigerator in over 30 days that was place in my home by your company. Horrible service and I blame you guys for buying defective items from frigidaire

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered with a company that’s supposed to be professional. You have to harass them every day just to get a call back regarding a service issue. No one seems to care about the problem or even attempt to resolve the issue. If your garage is under warranty with this company be prepared for the run around. It’s freezing cold yet they still haven’t fixed my garage.

The Pro.side is amazing! Quinton is one of the best! He works in the spirit of excellence, very knowledgeable of the appliances he install, and is able to move a 700lb Sub Zero refrigerator by himself. He doesnt talk much and thats a good thing as it shows hes focused on his job and executing it flawlessly. He pays attention to every detail starting with protecting the homeowners floors and countertops.

There were several issues with the installation. The panels that fit over the glass section were put in the wrong order so that the design was backwards. He installed the new keypad in a different place so that there are exposed holes in my siding and rollers were crooked. I had to take more time off work to be here when the installer comes back to fix these issues.When Mike (installer) came back this morning, he had such a bad attitude I told him I would fix the remaining items myself. I know I was irritated about the inconvenience of having to take off work again because of his mistakes, but Im not sure why he was irritated.I bought this garage door from Costco and Im very disappointed in the installation experience.

Would never shop here or recommend anyone else to. Have literally been trying to get someone to give me a quote or call me back for over a week. Ive spoken with a representative 3 times, each time promising to get back to me with an answer. Their low start rating is completely accurate.

This excuse for a company installed appliances in my new home, closing paperwork and warranty information stated they would offer a 30 day replacement of my appliances. When we moved in the dishwasher had a leak, reps came out and stated it needed replaced. This place refuses to honor their 30 day replacement warranty and is trying to get the manufacturer to repair it. 10 days after closing I am still getting the runaround. Please do not do business with this company, there are many others out there that truly focus on customer service.

Had a garage door installed. The Sales/Service portion was fine. Todd was very knowledgeable and responsive. When the installer came to install the garage door he burned the motor out. After opening and closing 10X in 30 minutes, he shares that you are not supposed to open and close garage doors more than 10x in ONE HOUR! Now I am trying to deal with the managers who are already taking a defensive position!! This is not going to be fun I can tell already! BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!

I ordered some kitchen appliances in February and did not receive them until March. Upon inspection of my appliances I noticed they provided me with different merchandise than originally requested. On top of that my contractor had picked up these items, yet they still charged me for delivery!!! My quote was $100 less than they charged me plus an additional $104 for delivery which was not required. I returned the items in March and as of today (4/30/18) I have yet to receive a refund. They acknowledged the need to a refund but have yet to do so!! After numerous phone calls all of which have not yet been returned I have decided too make a complaint to the BBB. This company is awful.

Staff helpful once given the chance. Professional and quite knowledgeable. They made suggestions on getting our task completed.Store carries appliances new, used, floor models, and scratch and dent: refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, built-ins, micros, dishwashers, exhaust vents, the occasional washer and dryer, in a wide range of brands including high end Dacor, thermador, Viking, etc. One is sure to find what they’re looking for at fabulous prices. We’re so thankful to have found this store. We will certainly be back for all our needs.They also sell garage doors.

The builder of my home used BSI to install a gas fireplace. At the one year service the blower for the unit did not function. A service tech was dispatched and noted that the fireplace was not wired correctly by the original installer. They left with the unit apparently working. At the next annual inspection of the unit two gas leaks were found, AND an incorrectly wired electrical connection. Neither the original tech, nor the second service tech from BSI noticed. The lack of care during the installation could have very plausibly burned down my house. I am in the process of trying to fix the issue with another installer. I had contacted BSI to let them know about the problem. However, the person I reached via phone noted, they had been told by management not to schedule service calls for items older than one year. They also noted that I had a very serious problem and needed to find someone that would look into it ASAP.

Truck drivers, if you get a load here, turn it down! No overnight parking, and they are super, super, super, super,super slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Took 45 minutes just to put me in a door, and they had 4 open!!! My first and last time, ever coming to this location. People seem ok, I only spoke to one gentleman when I checked in. I don’t recommend this place for truck driver.!!!!!

My father purchase a garage door “ Lift Master” from Builder Specialities (BSI) end of January and it was installed sometime around the end of Janurary or beginning of Feburary. A couple weeks later the garage door began to malfunction. For instance the chain was popping and the garage door began jerking halfway open and close. BSI sent a repairman out who was able fix the garage door. About two weeks after the repair the garage door started to not open or close fully. So the repairman came out again and did a second diagnostic and it was determined that problem is the keypad and that installing a new part would get the garage door to work. Now with the new part installed the garage door still did not work. So the repairman call and told Lift Master that the installation of the new part did not fix the garage door and that he did not know why. So he speculated that the reason behind the garage door not working properly is due to the owner tampering with the equipment. But the repairman never check the garage door to see if the personal adjustments made was the cause of the malfunction. As a result of the repairman statement, BSI fail to honor their warranty by refusing to fixing my garage door.
