So Because of the pandemic i havent been able to go into the store and have had to do everything remotely. I will say that Lisa Teter has helped me every step of the way. checking on shipments making sure everything arrived intact and appropriately, etc... My clients are loving the new chairs, shampoo stations, wax area, etc... My stylists are loving their new stations and anti fatigue mats. Now I am about to place a second order since we will be expanding the spa side and Lisa is right there again to help with whatever I need. Looking forward to working with them again.
The worst company! The worst customer service! Don’t buy from them! They lied to me mane times about the products I bought from them.The last one about the delivery was definitely the worst.It’s going to cost me lots of money to cancel all the services I hired to my opening, food, drinks, people that was supposed to work in that day.And they made me pay more 650 Dollars to get my order delivered!! Shame on this F company!!
Great experience!!! Richard was very accommodating to our schedule. We flew in from Ohio to check out the show room. He met us on his day off to show us the equipment we were interested in. Locally owned and operated.Super friendly, great selection.
Disappointment. My client has spent a considerable amount of money with this company. We needed a part for a shampoo bowl or some kind of advice before we went into the busiest season in the industry.Warning to people who buy product from here, they only have an email address you can email to for any kind of technical assistance or parts.The picture is the underside of of a vacuum breaker panel that is screw tractioned onto another metal plate on the top base of the bowl. The panel is made of all plastic, while all the other pieces are made of metal and rubber. In the the center mount screw as you can see in the image is broken off. It mounts the whole plate to the bowl, and if broken, renders the whole thing useless (did I mention it was made of plastic?!)If youre a high volume salon, then dont buy these vacuum breaker configurations that have plastic panels: They just break. And then you have no support to figure out how to get the right parts. Its been 11 days.
Mr. Richard was so helpful! He gave us the space we needed to look at all of the equipment, but was right there as soon as we had a question!!! He was comical and very nice! It was a pleasure working with him!!!
Richard was amazing! Although it was appointment only (because of the covid restrictions) he allowed me and my business partner to view the showroom in-between his appointments. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with a package for a great price! Large selection and very nice showroom. We will definitely return.
Because of the pandemic I decided to put in a one chair salon at my house. I ordered four items from Buy Rite Beauty and my credit card was charged right away and I was told that my order would ship in 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I heard nothing and my items had not arrived so I emailed the company and I was informed that one item was being handmade in their warehouse and they were behind because of Covid so my products would not even be shipped for another four weeks. Finally my shipment arrived 10 weeks after ordering and I quickly opened everything because I had seen reviews where Buy Rite did not replace damaged items because complaints were not made within 24 hours of receiving. The shampoo bowl cabinet (that supposedly was the hold up on the order) had a chip in the side and touch up paint was slapped on. The hinges on the door of the cabinet, the screws were so stripped out that the door was hanging off. And there was absolutely no means of mounting the shampoo bowl to the cabinet. When I emailed to complain I got passed off to several people that could supposedly handle my complaints. But I was only told that they could send me touch up paint or new screws. And I think that is a little crazy when I paid $500 for just this item AND $500 in shipping to wait 10 weeks and I was told to fix it up myself. I was also told that there was no need to mount the shampoo bowl to the cabinet that it would just “lay” in there. My plumber was bewildered. No way could someone put the whole weight of their body on the bowl to be shampooed and it be secure. It would move or fall on their shoulders. Since my contractor and my plumber had fix the bowl and made it functioning I asked if Buy Rite if they could give me some kind of monetary refund for their troubles. After spending $3000 with Buy Rite, I was told that the best they could do was a $100 refund. BUT, in return for that $100 refund, I would have to sign a waiver that I would not write any bad reviews about their company. Of course I declined and got busy opening my salon. I forgot about writing the review until I recently saw a salon in my area that had to delay their opening because their equipment was five weeks late. Of course there were pictures of Buy Rite boxes in their post. I feel like Buy Rite does not care about their customers because the selection is so limited on where you can buy brand new salon equipment from. I was happy with my other items from Buy Rite, but I will never ever buy from them again and I would highly recommend that no one else does either! I’m in Ohio and could not go to the showroom, so maybe their customer service is better, but the online ordering is a joke!

Terrible customer service and I wouldn’t recommend. I placed an order for a new steamer over a month ago. The website informed me that the item would ship in 7 business days. 7 days go by, nothing. No email. No shipping info. No phone call. I call them and they tell me that the item was on backorder and that I should be getting it the following week along with the shipping information. Once again, nothing. No email. No shipping info. No steamer. I call AGAIN. And they promise to mark my account urgent and that someone would be giving me a call back to let me know what the hold up is with my item. Days go by, nothing. No email. No phone call. No steamer. I am beyond frustrated and I really could have saved my time ordering from some place else that actually HAS the steamer. I had to call a 4th and 5th time to just cancel the order. Again I was told it would be marked urgent blah blah blah. That means nothing to me at this point. I will not be doing business with this company ever again.

We went to the showroom to look for a shampoo unit and a couple of stylists chairs. I’m so glad we went because we ended up going with chairs I would not have picked online. The one I thought I wanted, after seeing it in person, ended up not being what my space needed. It really is helpful to see and touch it.I also really appreciated the way they are handling things right now. With making appointments and wearing mask it made me feel really comfortable.Richard was super helpful but not pushy and that also made the experience better. He makes suggestions and then leaves you to look around while always being available for any questions. I have used this company multiple times and I would really recommend them for your salon equipment needs.

We did not call ahead and make an appointment as the website suggested. Richard was very accommodating by allowing us a last minute showing of the sales floor. He was very kind and I greatly appreciate the efforts he made to practice safe social distancing and wearing masks! I was mostly looking for a shampoo unit and a styling chair, which he suggested a floor model that was nicely discounted and of great Italian quality! I have never in my life left a review on any business but as for this business I find it necessary to do so, my whole experience has been nothing short of a disaster the length of time it took to receive my order was weeks over the original discussed time, couldn’t get my order correct after being told 5 times but still kept leaving out items. I have spent well over $13,000 on equipment for my new salon and even though I love the look I’m not happy at all with customer service I have one station that is defective where I have sent in videos and pictures of this. I also have 4 shelves for these stations that were cut totally wrong and they are absolutely pointless and not to mention the total botched job that was done on all of the appliance drawers that I was charged extra for that now totally serve no purpose. This company has stated they were calling me with someone who was going to fix this issue and have new ones made and also that a order was placed for the defective drawers still have yet to see those or hear from anyone and that has been 2 months since I received my last response from Jill and I have also sent multiple emails since then with absolutely no response. I wouldn’t recommend ordering a hairdryer from this company because I see they absolutely could care less about their clients or any future business that they will loose at this point I don’t want any of my purchases from this company and would love to send everything back and go with a reliable company but I refuse to let this company just take my money and not own up to their mistakes or the poor job they did on this order with not listening to anything I asked for or the defective station that they are costing me money on from not being able to have a stylist occupy that space .
Ordered the Bali tall stations in white. They came dirty, chipped, missing hardware to attach handles and the overall craftmanship is awful. I was so excited to receive these as they appeared beautiful online, but after waiting over 12 weeks to receive them I was very, very disappointed. I called buy rites customer service line to discuss the matter (it was after hours so I left a message) and haven’t received a call back! Save your money and go elsewhere. IKEA builds better furniture.

I am the spa owner so aesthetic beauty bar and I was having a rough day because my facial steamer went out last minute. I did not have a back up steamer. I traveled all around Atlanta and could not find a warehouse where spa supplies was available. I had a colleague direct me in the direction of this store and I paid them a visit. Richard was a serious lifesaver..And went over and beyond to help me not even just once but twice. From the time I walked in until the time I left, the staff was professional and courteous. Melanie, the receptionist was sweet and hospitable. A few seconds later, the PRESIDENT of the company (not a salesperson) came out and introduced himself. I explained to him that Im just in the basement stages of my project. Richard didnt blow me off and wasnt pushy. He took my info and believe it or not, HE FOLLOWED UP WITH ME A WEEK LATER. I appreciate the treatment that I received and because of Richard and Melanie, Ill definitely give them my business.It should be noted that I left Buy Rite and went to 2 other salon places. At the first place they didnt speak to me at all when I walked in. The second place, told me to come back when Im serious. Smh.

I purchased $8k worth of products. The ENTIRE process was a nightmare. I was promised a delivery date and made arrangements for it which was on a Monday and worked out, then found out it would be coming on another day instead after already ordered. I told them I have no one to help bring in 3000 lbs worth of supplies on that day when I was called to schedule the delivery, I was told “hopefully the delivery driver will feel bad seeing a lonely girl trying herself and help”. The driver came and made me sign before pulling up the truck, refused to wait for any reason at all said he wasn’t allowed because he had other deliveries, brought the pallets to the curb and ran off, headphones in at all times and ignored me completely. I finally open the products and find some issues to the products, every single item has damage. I contacted the company and told them, they said I shouldn’t have signed for the delivery or marked damaged and that I had to contact the company within 48 hours. I informed them that the boxes weren’t even damaged other than one and the damage on the one box had nothing to do with any of the spots that were damaged, they filed a claim through the delivery company anyway which they said, of course, was denied. Then they told me none of the damage affected the product use so all the can do is offer 75$ credit for future purchase, as if I would ever buy again after this experience and 75$ for 8k worth of damaged products? I finally finish putting the products all together, (this is a brand new salon and I was in the middle of construction so it would not be wise to put anything together right away, thinking I was protecting my purchase) and find out the one stations door hinges were damaged therefore couldn’t hold the door on, then another station has a door that is cracked in half. Now I have a state inspection scheduled, an entire station that is broken and unusable, along with an entire salon of damaged products that don’t matter because it doesn’t affect the use of the products, and 2 weeks of trying to figure out a solution with no success, and having to come up with solutions myself out of my own pocket to make the products usable that weren’t only cosmetically damaged. Never buying from here again. They almost had me believe their customer service was decent after over a month of back and forth, but it by far is not.
Ive had the wonderful privilege of working with Walter from Buy Rite. Walter is very well rounded and educated in terms of the beauty industry. He provided my wife and I with great insight in reference to the equipment that would be needed and its functions. I can truly say that he is a MAN OF HIS WORD!!! With no-one else to turn to and a 9 month pregnant wife, Walter personally came down to our salon, which is about an hour drive from the Buy Rite location, and helped me put together EVERY single piece of equipment. To this day, I still receive courtesy calls from Walter asking if theres anything else he can do so that I may have the best experience ever. I can truly and honestly say, Walter has been nothing less than a true professional, but overall, better person. This is the company to buy from! theyre not only super helpful but they also get back to you right away. I recently made two purchases once to get 3 salon chairs, one of them actually came bent and they sent out a new part ASAP which was awesome, no charge all I had to do was call as soon as I opened my boxes and sent in pictures of the bent area. I also used Snap finance with them and had it all paid off in 90 days no interest. I loved the process so much I just made my second order with them and using Snap finance again.
I own a chain of barbershops on the west coast and have been working with buy rite beauty for years. They have the best selection and great costumer service. My review should had been written years ago....Long story Short .....My wife decided to open (2016) a barbershop, after working for a franchise for 5 years. So we got or ducks in a row done some online research and decided to use BUY-RITE BEAUTY for or Barbershop needs, made a call to Buy-Rite talk to a guy named Lyle told him what we needed for a 3 chair barbershop he worked us a quote around 7 or 8 thousand dollars I think ....Anyways he gave us a delivery date once all got settled.....the trucking company showed up on the delivery date the truck drive was great, helped us unload made me look at all the equipment once we got it unboxed to make sure there was no damage to anything signed my paperwork and he left ....Once we got equipment inside we found a long scratch on the fiberglass seat part on a barber chair that looked like a razor blade cut had cut into it, definitely not a shipping issue but a manufacturing issue for sure ....took some pictures sent it to Lyle he looked at the pictures a few days later the part showed up with no problems ...me being mechanical inclined I just put it on myself ....Today 11/7/2019 I had to call Lyle back for a issue we where having ....We had done out grew or barbershop location and had to move to a bigger spot and Lyle was still there working and took another good size order from us today to help us build or barbershop even bigger and keep up with demands ...Lyle has been great to work with .....we are no where near Buy-Rite showroom all online and over the phone and we couldn’t have ask for better service .....Thanks Lyle hope to talk to you soon to order more barber chairs

****update**** The sinks I ordered were missing parts and I was very impressed with how quickly Jill in customer service responded and had the missing parts sent out to me so I could get sinks installed.Disappointing experience.....Ordered two sinks for new salon and when delivery arrived one of the sink chairs was damaged. Called customer service immediately and was told to accept the shipment, take pictures and they would look into it. I had contacted the shipping company a few days before delivery to set it up and was asked to give them a window. The driver showed up an hour and twenty minutes early and then asked why no one was there to receive the order. When I noticed the chair was damaged I wanted to refuse but as instructed I did not. I was then contacted several times asking if I would take a discount on the damaged chair but I was not interested because the damage was very noticeable. I am now informed they will pick up the chair on a different day then when the new one will be delivered. I am not at the salon why it is being renovated so I will have to make arrangements twice to have shipping company retrieve and deliver. The process has been very inconvenient and I will not order my styling chairs or stations as a result. If you order something check for damage and have shipper remove immediately if the items are not correct.
This company has been so accommodating in helping guide me through a selection process. I flew to GA to the showroom and Richard, the president himself, offered to pick me up from the hotel, take me to Buy-Rite and work with me on finding what I need to suit expansion needs within budget. He was patient with all of my questions and gave me plenty of space to try on every chair, sink and station. Highly recommend. Theres really something for everyone here, from basic to high-end.

Buy-Rite made opening my new barbershop so easy! Lyle, provided awesome customer service and was able to get me the equipment I needed in just a few days after I had been trying with one of their competitors for weeks with no success. He has followed up several times to make sure we were satisfied. It is very hard to find such good customer service these days. I cant put into words how glad I am that I found Buy-Rite. I built my first salon in March 2016 in CA. This was the first place I called I was lucky enough to have Lyle Mackenzie take my call. I had no idea what I was doing. He is so professional and trustworthy, helped me make informed decisions and stay within my budget. The timing was really tricky due to construction and my opening day but everything worked out. I love the equipment I purchased including forest green custom chairs!!!I have had to order silly little things like neck rests and a part for my shampoo chair unit and Lyle always comes through quickly and happily. I am an Salon Owner in the Nations Capitol, where Hairstylist are known to set trends. What other way to do that by first starting with the amazing decor of your salon. Lyle was my salesman and he was amazing. I had no idea about purchasing furniture for my salon I just knew what I wanted and Lyle walked me through this process for about three months. I kept changing my mind, about colors and fabrics. It was a lot that went into my salon construction. As a business owner time and customer service are critical to me. Drove 30 min to come look at barber chairs and didn’t know we needed an appointment the guy there was very rude and didn’t want to speak with us at all, the previous review said he let them in without an appointment so I didn’t know what the big deal was all we needed was 5 min to see the chair we liked to order online instead we went somewhere else and bought 5 chairs his loss
I bought 2 barber chairs for my upscale barber shop Roosters MGC in Johns Creek. Richard was very personal and professional about the inventory available, quality and budgets. I was pleased with the perfect condition of the chairs when they arrived to my shop. So far the chairs meet my guests expectations and my barbers.
I purchased 3 Backwash units, 10 chair mats, and 10 shampoo chairs. This was a remodel. First off, the shipping was waived because I spent over a certain amount. (Awesome, saved about $750 over the competition.) Lyle, who was my regional sales representative, Was super easy to work with. He gave me his cell number, and was available for any concerns I had. He also let me break up the charge. Half when I ordered, and half when they shipped. The items arrived on time, and were packed well. When I had trouble with adapting the plumbing to my existing, he answered the phone in 2 rings, and had them send me out the adapters free of charge. When I had 1 chair that had a crooked base, he had them send out a base right away. The customer service I received was top notch, and I would definitely buy from them again. We bought our barber chair through Buy Rite as a Christmas gift for our son. After unsuccessful attempts to buy a chair through other retailers, we looked at Buy Rites website. With only a few shipping days left before Christmas, we worked with Lyle at Buy Rite to get us a nice chair delivered to our home by Christmas. It was really asking alot of him to get the order processed and out the door in time. (Im pretty sure he had to call in a few favors for this one!) Our experience with Lyle (our salesperson) was simple great, very professional and he was genuinely concerned about every aspect of our new mens salon. He would call me back and keep check of us as well as the status of our order. We simply could not have done it without Buy-Rite and Lyle. I need to replace my bulb in a steamer with magnifying lamp i bought from them 3 yrs ago I went to the location yesterday and was told its one person that can check inventory and they wasnt there. I was asked to leave my information and that person would get to me on Tuesday which it was monday. Well today is tuesday and no one called me so i called them at 450pm. I was told i have to go online to check inventory and order products online. Which the lady could have said that yesterday. So all in all i dont like the way they handled business i will never buy anything from them even from Amazon. Their customer service sucks

My experience has been more than satisfying when it comes to Buy-Rite. The level of professionalism goes above and beyond that of any company that I have encountered thus far. Let me share with you my day. I made a phone call to Buy-Rite customer service expressing my concern and sadness with my product. Tekoa, the customer service representative, was very understanding of my situation. She made some suggestions and came up with a plan. Everything worked out. She followed through with what she said. She even went as far as to call back a week later to check up on how things were going. Buy-Rite has top of the line equipment as well as superior customer service. Being a loyal customer, I will continue to purchase equipment from them.

Horrible experience! Ordered a full 4 chair salon set. Equipment was delivered almost two full days later than promised. Costing us added expense of two working days missed running up our contractor bill. Was never told about delivery being dropped in the middle of a strip mall parking lot in the freezing pouring rain. Shampoo sinks had Chinese connectors on them and took multiple trips to specialty plumbing stores to rig together. when we called to complain to Richard he acted like it was our fault and problem. They claim any plumber could hook these connections in minutes. Our Contractor had done several businesss like ours and wasnt inept as Richard implied. When I informed them we were completely unsatisfied they could have cared less stating salons all over the US order from them and dont have issues. They were rude, careless and offered nothing for our trouble!!Buyer Beware!!!
Id like to commend Lyle and Buy-Rite Beauty for the excellent guest service Ive received. Prior to ordering mats with you, I ordered and received mats from a competitor and not only were the mats of poor quality, but they were haphazardly shipped and now theyre unresponsive in regard to my return. Buy-Rite has been a pleasure doing business with. Although I only own one salon at this time, Ill be sure to use you in the future and pass along my recommendation to my fellow franchisees (Supercuts).Thank again and look forward to outfitting the remainder of our salon with your mats!

This was my very first experience buying salon equipment from this company. I was extremely skeptical as the reviews that I read were very negative. However, MY experience was very different. Lyle put all my fears at ease he was very professional and very personable. The process was seamless I ordered my equipment on Friday April 8, 2016 and he assured me that everything that I was ordering was in stock. By the following Tuesday April 12th my items arrived at my salon all in tact and functioning properly. I really appreciate Lyles patience and professionalism. I will be using this company again for future purchases!

If you are a contractor purchasing though this company make sure it is the correct fit because they have a no return policy. We ordered 2 whole faucets (not parts) and they didnt match up to the existing bowls and they will not take them back. The first manager Takoah was very rude over the phone. This is not a company I would do business every again with and will make all the complaints necessary so others are aware of their practices. The second manager Dorris didnt even acknowledge the first managers actions which makes me think this is really how they run their business.
