Was not a local customer and confirmed that they could handle an out of state order to include delivery and installation. Despite numerous calls, emails and even a complaint with the BBB I am still waiting on installation of my door. The biggest issue is the lack of communication. No one at the company responds without me having to call or email. They have made multiple promises and now 3 months later and I still waiting for my door to be installed. Poor business and management practices!!!

When I decided to replace my front entry door, I only called 2 companies. First one was a popular company and they took about 2 weeks to get me a basic set of available options and timelines, constantly reminding me they were super busy. With Abby (also a well reviewed company), I got a complete estimate within 2 days. I placed the order (it was a custom design so took about 2 weeks for me to approve final template). Sales and Design teams were courteous and prompt in communication. Door arrived within the estimated timeframe and installation (possibly, the most important phase of the project) was excellent.I would not think twice before recommending Abby to anyone who is looking for high quality door and a seamless project execution.

We turned to Abby Iron Doors when we were looking for a permanent replacement for wood doors that warped in the heat and humidity in the South. The team won our business by working through several rounds of changes to give us the perfect doors for our home—door style, color, handle selection, glass selection, addition of screens so I could battle the bugs and still enjoy the outdoors!!From a construction perspective, these doors are extremely well made from heavy gauge steel throughout with foam insulation. The frame is custom made to fit the doors. The scroll work is made from solid steel as are the handles. The wait for construction and shipping was the hardest part of the process, though when you get a custom door, the wait is worth it.The installation was expertly done by an Abby contractor. The finished installation weighs just over 1,100 pounds, swings smoothly and is very stable.We are very happy with the result and would recommend Abby Iron Doors to anyone.

I did a fair amount of research on a steel door before settling on Abby. I ran across one place that had a fair selection of doors at a much cheaper price. However, the difference in quality was apparent and they offered no installation plan. This was very important. Buying a door is one thing. A great installation is critical. It’s the face of your home. I choose to pay more for the custom nature of the doors, color selection and the ability to detail out exactly what I wanted. The installers came immediately after my purchase and measured my existing frame. When the door arrived and was installed it fit like a glove. The installation was finished timely and the new door looked great. The entire process went without a hitch. I’m very pleased.

Doors promised 10-12 weeks from order date (not a short time to wait). Just notified it will be 18+ weeks for delivery. A 30%-40% overrun of a delivery date is not insignificant. If honesty is the best policy, Abby doors policy doesnt match-up.

The quality of the doors are excellent. We really enjoy how they look on our house. The only thing that I feel that Abby Iron Doors could do is communicate more with you from the time the doors are ordered until they are installed. Since it takes about 14 weeks from the time you order the doors until they are installed, I feel more communication could happen from their end on where we at in this process. I had to initiate all of the communications. Also, when we were told the doors were in and the installer would be calling me the next week on installation and I never heard anything, this is not good. The doors are not inexpensive and I just feel more attention should be given to the customer that has already paid 50% up front. With this being said, I would give them a rating of 3.5 out of 5. Now since they are in, we love them.

They didn’t order any handles..then they ordered the incorrect handles... so we ordered our own and they didn’t reimburse us the full amount...they paid 1/2 of what we were due. ABBY owes us $2302. Slow to get an install date...took 3 tries before they came out....they lied and said no installer was available...the real problem, according to the owner Angie, (aka Enjing Lin), was that no one had ever ordered the handles...3. Installation caused so much damage around door periphery, it required us to get another contractor to do full repairs...cost us $550 of which we recouped $350...ABBY owes us $2004. Wrong glass was put in transom...cost to replace $1565...Abby paid $750...cost us another $7655. The lock broke within 24 hrs of installation...locksmith and new lock cost us $260ABBY STILL OWES US $1500...You get the picture here...btw, use an Amex credit card to pay, not a CITI card in case you need to do a dispute....CITI didn’t go to bat for us at all...even with everything extremely well documented...and we have NEVER disputed anything before in 53 years...

I am very happy with my Doors. My house was broken into back in 2011, and right after that I had all my exterior doors replaced with Abby Iron doors. Ive never had any issues with my doors, and received countless compliments. Our family just came back from vacation today, and noticed multiple force entry signs including footprints on my back door. The door wasnt damaged at all, and there was no sign of forced entry to my house. If youre looking for high security doors to add protection to the house, go with Abby!

I have very good experience with my Abby Door. My first door was purchased in 2012, and we recently came back to order all the side and back doors. Very good company to work with.

The doors are beautiful to look at, but they get a LOT of frost buildup in the winter. So much frost builds up on our door that its nearly all white on the interior, and we have the full insulated doors (extra $1000). Weve asked many times how to resolve it, but the Customer Service for Abby Iron Doors is the worst service that weve seen. They wont respond until YOU continue to reach out several times. They also messed up our order and shipped the wrong door depth, and refused to do anything about it. Very disappointing considering the cost of the doors. Id recommend using a different company until their support and service changes, its just not worth the hassle.

I purchased the door in March 2014 and was installed by the authorized installer until several weeks. I started noticing small paint bubbles after 3 years and now the bubbles are bigger and its almost like several blisters that about to pop, I did not start complaining until July 2019 thinking that I have 10years warranty which was clearly advertised in their website. long story short they refused to cover it because they said the the coverage is only for 5 years and im 4 months late with filing the complaints. The door looks bad after only 5 years Abby Iron doors are not honest about the warranty.Stay away.

Our doors are beautiful now! With the wear and tear of the sun the paint faded and peeled quickly. The person who fixed our door was a perfectionist and took his time. He was also very kind. Thank you Abby Iron Doors for cosmetically improving the main entrance of our home!
