Worst ever seen ever seen 20 years . We ordered fan for our new location build out. 2 weeks passed no info on whats going on. No responds to any email. Called them in they say it will ship in one week from manufacturer so 3 weeks lead time. Nothing on website says its a back order. Rep very unprofessionally trying to tell us that it is not back order and its how all business is done and manufacturer ha nothing in stock. Yet we contacted manufacturer and they told us we can pick up today if we send our truck or they need 3 day freight to deliver. Yea manufacturer directly quoted $50 more and if i know ACityDiscount selling things they dont have on hand i would never wasted 4 weeks of our downtime (2 weeks of current wait time plus 1 extra week form now plus at least 1 extra week for freight to come in. This jobs needs rood work if temperature drops below 10C we can not install it for the season. This vendor highly undeniable. Customer support you dont want to even deal with. Dont buy form them

Online catalog showed stock, which was not the case. Took a week to get a straight answer after I purchased on whether my order was valid and then got the run around in order to get a credit on merchandise they did not have. Deceptive.

Horrible....I got a lot of stuffs in this space.But I realized that I got over size sandwiches prep cooler and griddle. So, I try to return it.They told me they will charge 25% from my prep cooler and griddle....OMG....Even I did not used it.......I could not trust that......I decided to do re-sell it. Thats better for me.Horrible! Experience..I ask show me return policy, they said do not have return policy.....omg

I was in a bind and looking for a heavy duty floor mixer for my restaurant. I called up and spoke with William and he immediately knew what I was looking for. He stated that he was a former chef / baker and answered every question I had about baking / mixing! Having someone who knew what would work for my business and wasnt looking to give me more than I needed was such a relief! He scheduled my delivery quickly and they actually delivered it earlier than expected! Flawless delivery, as well!

Very unhappy with what was promised and what was delivered. I ordered a new 72” prep table last Thursday morning. Mike from ACity said it could still go out that day but would definitely get to me the next day (Friday). He called me back to say it would be Monday because of the holiday. I called the freight company this morning around 8:15 am and they said they wouldn’t deliver mine today but would tomorrow.I asked why and she said because it had a note on the account to call first and set up an appointment. I asked Mike if there was anything he could do. He called the freight company and they told him the same thing. I could have ordered one this morning from 3 other places and gotten it tomorrow. We are due any day for our health inspection and really need this new piece of equipment. Very frustrating - I call it Customer No Service!

This was our first time ordering from this company. After we ordered through a different company and received a damaged product after waiting 6 weeks for it, we decided to reach out to A City Discount to see if they could help us out. I got a hold of Rudy Herring and he was very helpful. He was able to help place the order that day and get the product shipped out the next business day. After we received the package (straight from the manufacturer) we realized that this one was also damaged. After calling A City Discount, Tim Booth told me he was going to reach out to the manufacturer and follow up with me. He was very helpful and did respond back right away when he received a response from the manufacturer. When we were told that the manufacturer said it wasn’t damaged enough for them to do anything, Tim offered a $50 credit from their company for the inconvenience. They have great customer service and we would order through them again!

Poor customer service. Had to make 2 trips to pick up just casters for a table. 2 Staff members werent knowledgeable AT ALL. Id rather you be honest and say you dont know than to have an attitude when asked for help. Then tried to rush me out the store to avoid the issue. The promise to credit my card from the grey haired man, for the inconvenience of waiting over an hour for the order, never arrived. So that makes them dishonest also. When you see an item is cheaper than other stores, sometimes it isnt worth the hassle. Lesson learned. One person in the whole building had some basic knowledge, thats why they got 1 star!

Worst customer service Ive ever dealt with. I purchased a replacement undercounter refrigerator for a small apartment. After letting the freon settle for 24 hours, the unit was plugged in. The fan worked but didnt cool. ACityDiscount indicated they would pay for a repairman to diagnose the problem - leak in the freon tank; they never reimbursed. After haggling for over six weeks about getting the refrigerator into an operational condition, I ordered a new one (different vendor and manufacturer). ACityDiscount agreed to return the unit. They even charged me for return shipping. Total loss over $2000.

I ordered a Range for our small Cafe and although we received it three days late, ( and NO fault of ACityDiscount I want to add), It came in perfect shape and I even had a personal phone call from them asking if everything is satisfactory. Went to the ACityDiscount for the last time today. Asked where were the buggies and I guy just pointed and said over by ???. I couldnt understand him. Went to the counter to check out and the person at the counter had no personality or customer service skills. Didnt say a word just started checking me out and then walked away. New guy came up and he also had no customer service skills....he just finished the transaction. Too many other places to shop.

Quick convenient and loaded my truck

One of my employees ordered the wrong shelving unit and upon setting it up we figured out it was the wrong size. I called A City to see if they would work with me on a return or even a discount on the right shelf. After getting the run for 4 days i was informed i needed to talk to the customer service manager i wasnt able to get in contact with her instead i spoke to a rude employee who said they could all they could do is give me the other shelf at cost which was 5% off, thats hard to believe. All said and done i will not be shopping at A city ever again i didnt even use the shelf i just assembled it.

I have purchase over $20,000 of equipment from this company. I will not go into the terrible customer service but be aware that the only service they provide is taking the customer check. The damaged-in-freight 1000 lb. Pizza Oven sitting on the sidewalk is not their problem. Beware.

Started a little lounge business and it was a hard time finding the stuffs i need at good prices. i went to A city Discount and found wine buckets for about $11 meanwhile the exact same thing was $49 at restaurant depot. plus they still gave me a store discount. would recommend this place big time, its my new favorite home appliance store.

Would give a zero if I could. I ordered Winco handles for frying pans. I called to add an additional handle to my order since I had miscalculated the number of handles. I was told that since my order had already shipped I would have to order the handle through another invoice. This item is $1.24 and when I asked if I would have to pay $12.00 in shipping (I originally paid $12.35 shipping for a $10.59 order) I was told YES. I explained the order was only $1.24 for a small silicone handle and I was told There is nothing I can do about that. Really! TWELVE DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING A SMALL HANDLE! To whom is that shipping profit going. Whatever happened to accomodating a customer. Last time I will use this company.

Do not buy equipment from them. They do not care about you being a customer. They definitely will not take care of you if you have a problem. There are many other equipment stores near there with better prices and service.I will never shop here again. Better off going somewhere they not only appreciate your business but you as a person.

I would post negative five stars if possible. My business is 19 years old and I have shopped at ACity for years. I never leave bad reviews because I think if you have a bad experience you should try to resolve it in person, which I have done. With that being said... We were expecting a delivery of a 3 door cooler and it was over 2 hours late before they arrived. ACity Discount delivery damaged it before it was off their truck. The delivery drivers are employees of ACity. I said numerous times that I was here to help and if there were any questions or if they needed a hand to please let me know. After the cooler was damaged the drivers tried to act like the vent was not cracked and broken where it attaches to the cooler so I called the office. They said they would replace the damaged part so we continued with the delivery. Once they got it in our building they damaged our floor and the cooler compressor. They were using a pallet jack to move the cooler and it ripped the compressor off the frame. I refused delivery at that point and returned the item. I told them upfront I expected a full refund because their employees damaged the cooler during delivery. They charged me a restocking fee of $1452.64 because I returned the cooler even though their employees damaged it multiple times during delivery. The cooler never got off the pallet jack and they insist that Im responsible for their drivers damaging the cooler? They said that because the cooler was on my property it was not their responsibility for anything that happens inside our business and the owner felt that because they purchased it and attempted a delivery that they did their part.

Excellent Customer Service. Took care of my problem immediately, without any hassles or issues. Prompted me to buy larger equipment from them. I would highly recommend them and give them a chance to rectify any problems if you do have any.

Recently I purchased a tea brewer off eBay that A City Discount was selling. I received the brewer promptly and the filter cup was missing. I contacted customer service and explained my order.Without hesitation A City overnighted me the missing piece. Unfortunately it arrived at my parents and my mom signed for it. The unfortunate part is my moms memory is not like it use to be and she forgot to tell me it arrived.Needless to say I never heard from customer service that the part was shipped so I wrote a bad review. If youre reading this my review is 100% wrong. A City Discount did what they had to do to resolve and fix my issue. I but all my restaurant equipment from them and have never had a problem. I certainly hate that I sent that review because this company didnt deserve it. They are exceptional on customer service and making sure the customer is right. I have been waiting for assistance on a damaged cooler for over two months. The cooler arrived damaged, and I wanted to replace it for a different unit. I was told this was possible, but they would send out a technician to assess the damage and credit us funds. We agreed to do this a month ago, and each time I call I am either unable to get a hold of anyone, or they tell me they will call back. I am not looking for a hand out or anything for free, just to receive what i paid for and actual put this matter behind us! I have had a damaged cooler for over two month of the busiest time of the year!

I want to say that this review is solely based off of the customer service I have received from Mike Ellin, the Showroom Manager, since Justin Kennedy.I received a wall mount bracket that came with two plates but only one arm, in my mind this tells me I am missing an arm. I emailed Justin who I purchased it through and received no response. After a couple of weeks, Mike emailed me back saying that I only ordered one bracket and any others would have to be purchased. I asked follow-up questions, again thinking there should be two arms and received no response. I sent two more follow up emails with no response to Mike. I emailed the customer service email describing the service I received, funny enough it went to Mike. He did email me back, saying he did not see any order I have ever placed, nor does he have an account with my name on it. I have spent over $10,000 at ACD in the past year. I responded again with all of my information and have yet to received a response back, this was 5 days ago.Some of the salesmen may be great, but if they have to answer to this guy for any issues that come up I can promise you that you will not be taken care of as a customer. There are other options out there that want your business.

If I could have rated it ZERO I most certainly would have.Absolutely no service after the sale.Purchased a funnel cake fryer that was damaged from shipping. Called them, sent photos and emailed. About 25 times each.No results. Yeah yeah we will issue a return number. We will get back to you.For whole month!!Finally I called comstock, the manufacturer. They were most helpful.We ended up dying 5.5 hrs to the manufacturing facility and waited an hr for them to make the repair.Comstock - marvelous!!!Acitydiscount— NADA!!! ZERO!!!! Waste of effort.

Pls find some other company who is care abt customer.It is very hard to deal with this people.I bought used topping cabinet with 14 days linted warranty soon i got unit.I plug in, it was work fine for 48 hrs and than temperature start going up so i called company and they said we can find local person to check and if is minor repair under $500 you can repair it we will give you credit for that bill. so they call for me and find local technician in my town. when technician came to check unit he found its leak in conditioner and it cost over $1000 to repair so i call back and sales person also called that guy who come check units and they decide to bring back and pay me fully refund include the bill for that local technician.once they got unit they said it works fine so we wont refund fully we will take 25% for restocking fee also buyer need to pay return shipping as well . so it means i have to wait over a month still i dont get my freezer repair and finally i have to buy new topping cabinet freezer and lost my money also.It was my first time exp to buy from this company but never want to buy anymore items

I have been a restaurant owner in chelsea, manhattan new york city for 14 years and 5 years Before that in the east village . I bought a meat grinder for $ 750 and a rice cooker for. $ 120 from A city discount and both made by globe and I just want to warn my fellow restaurant owners and managers that I had the worst experience of a chef choice meat grinder that was no 22 that was over heating from the first 20 minutes of use as well as slower than a manual grinder with manfeucture defects according to the techintion of the company as well as a rice cooker that burns the rice no matter how much water you add and then when asked to get a different rice cooker they shipped the same one to me and they have been refusing to return my money and take the grinder for the 45 days . I have made over 20 calls to the service dept as well as wasted many hours to resolve the issue but alwayes saing we will call you back so my advice that this a city discount as well as Globe factory are not a respectable or relabile or honest people that you count on. My advice avoid avoid avoid I hate for anyone to go through the frastration and the pain of what i have to go through for people who suppose to be big business people and how they deal with a small business I have bought 4 grinders in rhe last 14 years and this one I could tell it is the worst. so please avoid Globe factory products and avoid a city discount .
