I had a slow oil leak. They found that the oil drain plug was not set properly. I was not charged any diagnostic fee, instead just the charge for an oil change. Honest, generous service.

They are amazing and so nice. They open at 7, which was great, to get in early. They diagnosed the problems, gave me a great price and were extremely professional. The rear light issue had Been fixed twice before by a different company. It was Metro Tech that showed me it was the circuit panel that really needed fixing. They are definitely my new “go to” for auto stuff.

You can fix it yourself or you can get some business to fix it but if you want it done right take it to Master tech and they have the mechanics available that can fix whatever problem you have guaranteed

I love Master Tech...the service, the people, and the reasonable cost. I took my car in on a Tuesday on an emergency basis, and David was able to work it in and get it fixed that day. I was thrilled! This is an amazing place to come to. I’m a local Normanite with a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, and every problem I’ve ever had David has taken care of for me. I like his honesty and his concern for my wallet, as he never recommends anything that doesn’t NEED to be done. Great place here locally to take your car to the Car doctor. Came recommended from Mike at Alpine Motorsport and it was definitely worth coming in for, he recommend I bring my car here for an alignment. People here were very courteous, nice and honest. This place has the friendliest staff and best service Ive ever received from a mechanic. They were competitively priced on brakes, they were quick, their shop is super clean and organized, and their mechanics are actually friendly. Love that they are a local, multi-generational company. Most places quoted me new rotors and told me they couldnt be resurfaced, even though the car has 62k miles, but they told me they just needed resurfaced and new pads. I asked if we needed to do the same with the rear and they said they still have plenty of pad and dont need resurfaced. They could have told me they needed replaced and made a few hundred more, but they were honest. Thanks again and well be back!

The people here have taken such good care of us for 12 years, and my husbands family for more than double that.Initially took my van to the dealership because of a check engine light I thought was related to some warrantied work done four months ago. The dealership swore it was nothing they did and didn’t involve their work. It took them two days to do the diagnostics and then said they couldn’t get the part for the repair until next week.We moved my van to mastertech this morning. Today they were able to fix my van in a single day for less than the dealership.Previously they replaced a transmission on another vehicle. They were transparent about cost and options and didn’t pressure us to choose the more expensive option.They are always so nice and helpful. Good honest mechanics. I always know what they tell me is fair and true. I recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Master Tech came highly recommended by a coworker and Im glad I listened. They did a great job with the suspension replacement on my pick up. The price was fair, and the work was great. I dropped my truck off Monday morning for an estimate and the work was completed by Tuesday afternoon. Drives like new.

This is the only mechanic shop I would ever take my vehicle to, I HIGHLY recommend them. One of my friends went to a different mechanic shop in Norman and they tried to charge her around a thousand dollars for “repairs”. She went to Master Tech (this shop) for a second opinion and they thoroughly checked her car out and told her nothing was wrong with it and did not charge her ANYTHING! They do great work here and are very honest. They have also done repairs for me when the problem was minor and it was a simple fix. Most mechanic shops would have charged me an arm and a leg. Great place here great people here.

Weve been going here for the last 3 years since weve moved to Norman and have saved $THOUSANDS!! They actually recommnend NOT maintaining issues if the car is old... and suggest watching it and considering a new car.Would they do the change - absolutely - but youd have to explicitly ask for it and they explain in detail what it needed (and sometimes it may not work) you have all the information for an informed decision.Been very impressed with their honesty, excellent work and quick turn around time.

My 2003 Buick Regal was in need of some TLC which Master Tech applied. I absolutely love this place, and I love the people. I have tried taking my car to other technicians, but was told that I needed more work on my car than what I originally went in there for. When I brought my car here, I asked the technicians if I really needed all of this extra work, but they were honest with me, and told me that the extra work was unnecessary. I appreciate their honesty, and appreciate that they know that I am on a budget because I am student.

Brought my van in for an A/C problem (leaking into the passenger area) in October, 2018, and they sent it back all smiles and assurances. Took it back yesterday with the same problem. My wife feels comfortable there, theyve always been professional. They dont seem to find near as many repairs needed as the Honda dealership did. They dont just recommend replacing everything. They actually figure out whats wrong and tell you whats needed, what can wait and whats not necessary.

Ive taken vehicles to Master Tech for years and they have consistently proven themselves to be competent, fair, reliable, and most important in mind for an auto shop, honest. They proved it again to me this week. My 78-year-old mothers car (a 95 Cutlass that she drives about 100 miles per month) was totally dead a few weeks back after a cold weather snap. I jumped it and replaced the aging battery with a new one, hoping that would do the trick. A few days later, it was dead again, so I took it to Master Tech and spoke with Chris. We agreed the alternator was a likely culprit, but that they would investigate. Chris called me the next day to tell me that the electrical system checked out out fine. He found a map light on the rear-view mirror was left on and had been draining the battery. My mom probably accidentally turned it on while adjusting the mirror and it was very hard to see in the daylight, the only time she drives. The charge was nominal, just for the time spent checking the electrical system. They could have easily blamed the alternator and charged us for a ten times a much and wed never known better.This isnt the first time theyve proven themselves honest. I took a car in years ago and they found that a faulty fuse was the issue and only charged me about $15. Chris and David have been intaking cars and communicating with customers at the front counter for years. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Their tenure tells me they enjoy their jobs and that they work for a good company. There is an older gentleman who cleans windows on the cars and who will give you a ride to home or work if you drop off a car. There a sweet older lady who takes payments. The shop is clean and organized. The prices are fair and most importantly you know you are getting what you pay for. Also, the work is guaranteed.A few years ago I had a dead battery on my Toyota Tundra and because it was a Friday afternoon and I knew Master Tech wasnt open on weekends, I chose to tow my car to the dealership in hopes of getting it repaired more quickly. Several days later I had been sold a new battery, alternator, and starter at a cost of almost $3000. Im convinced I got fleeced by the service advisors at the Toyota dealership, who are commission-based. I regret not waiting until Monday and taking it to Master Tech. Ill never take a vehicle anywhere but Master Tech again.
