You know when you walk into a place and everyone is running around and you know (rolling of eyes) it’s going to be while before you’re helped, that was my first impression BUT it turned out to be well organized chaos. I will say here that I did make an appointment on line prior to my visit. The app is easy to use. These guys know what they are doing. They are knowledgeable and offers you choices. Luckily today I only had a flat tire. I have never been in this store but they treated me like a regular. There was no charge for the repair and they remounted the tire for me. I did buy their tire insurance though. Dallas, the guy that helped was amazing. Even though they were extremely busy, it was Saturday, Dallas stayed with me throughout the whole process. They impressed me so much that after I left I returned with a few pizzas and such for their lunch to show my appreciation, when I handed them to Dallas he said he was going to give them to the guys in the bays “ because they are working hard “, bravo Dallas!. I will be a returning customer!

I recommend Discount Tire to everyone but especially the Norman store!! Went in today and Shawn went above and beyond my entire visit. Compared tires with me so I got the best deal, got me one of the four I bought to take home to put on and then got me in and out quickly when I brought my car in for the other three tires so that I could get back to class. Everyone in the shop was nice to every person that walked in the doors and so helpful. I know I’m getting the best service and deals when I come here!! I will stay recommending this store!!!

I called the shop at 5:55pm needing my tire fixed before I left for a family members graduation in Dallas Sean and Devin were extremely helpful about getting me in and helping me out. Turns out my old tires were low on tread the crew was excellent and fast about replacing them. It’s comfortable, clean, and efficient. Couldn’t recommend a better place to get your tires fixed up. I tried several different tire shops in Norman before deciding to go to Discount Tire. Should have done that in the first place instead of wasting time at Hibdons and other places. I’ll never go back to Hibdons after dealing a rude employee that got an attitude after I decided not to pay $676 for their “cheapest” set. Left there and went to Discount Tire and got even better tires for almost $200 cheaper. I’ll never go to another tire shop. The employees at Discount Tire were great. Had me in and out in about an hour.

Six stars instead of 5stars. !Wow we walked in during morning hours. We wanted tires rotated and balanced for a long road trip very soon. ., and I was concerned that the tread wear was getting to the point of needed attention.We were greeted in the parking lot as we got out of the car. We explained what we wanted to do. The representative said to go in and have a seat, and he would check things out. He was nice and he listened to us versus just selling tires.Within a few minutes the Rep, came in. Said tire wear was perfect and the tread depth was Ok but at the minimum safety of 4/32. He said we could wait till spring if we were regionally driving,, or get new tires if we wanted. Let’s be honest,, tires are not cheap. Yet when you are driving in the hot summer or on a long trip you can count many vehicles on the side of the road with FLATS due to driving on worn tires!!My GF made the choice own her own to purchase new tires. Their was ZERO pressure from the store.The store called us when our vehicle was ready. Great new tires!! We recommend this particular Norman location.

One of the most efficient and kind businesses in Norman! Every time I’ve been in the staff has been very helpful and have always made sure I’m aware of everything going on with the care of my car. Would highly recommend - even better experience when you make an appointment! I will not be going to any other tire place in Norman for my time here.

Came here with almost flat tire and they took such a good care of making sure to find out what caused it and to repair it. And they run diagnostics on all my tires and explained to me how are my tires looking without any pressure or sales pitch to replace them. Just amaizing staff and place. I had some unexpected tire trouble and went through a dozen alternatives before finding this store. Every member of staff was professional, helpful, and patient. They explained options without ever pressuring us for more expensive solutions. They got us in and taken care of quickly. I wont go anywhere else and will recommend them to anyone needing tire help. They helped me fix my flat tire without charging me a penny! Thanks so much! Will definitely come here if I got any tire problem.At first I came to Midas, I was told that it was unfixable and at least both the front tires need replacement, I almost agreed until I saw the over 300$ quotation.

They got me in right away despite their computers deciding to reboot. I had to change my tire because it was too low and had a screw in it. Sean was awesome and walked me through the whole thing. I didn’t get the man’s name who actually changed my tire but he noticed a slash in it as well and that it wasn’t safe to drive on. He easily could have patched the screw hole and put it back on my car, but he didn’t. Who knows if it would have popped later on while I was driving. I greatly appreciated that he took the time to look over the tire completely!

This store helped a sad, scared college kid who Firestone tried to screw over. Firestone told her that her tire couldnt be repaired, they lied. She went to Your store and your people were so incredibly kind and helpful to her. She was so upset after Firestone was acting like she would have to purchase new tire. Your people were extremely helpful. Thank you for the way you treated her. My business will be directed to your company from now on, because of the people that helped her, with honesty.

Appreciate them always providing free air checks for tires, especially during this winter! I was struggling with the weather and my car this morning, and they graciously went above and beyond to help me with a separate car issue not even related to tires. Amazing people are working there!

I bought my tires here, and every time I go in for routine air check, and rotation, they are very nice. If you can, I suggest calling for an appointment, so you dont have wait very long. I ran over something and it popped my tire, they replaced it no worries. Great place, and price.

I went to three tire shops in town. Sean at discount was the only one to take the time to educate me on the look I wanted. He found me wheels and tires that worked for the appearance I wanted. I would definitely recommend him.

This was probably the best experience with having tires put on my car that I have ever had! I called last night around 5:30pm to tell them what I wanted for tires. They werent in stock, but the guy on the phone made me an appointment for noon today stating that the tires should be there by then. Just before 11am, they called me to tell me the tires were in. I showed up at noon, dropped my car off, went to order lunch and at 12:40pm I received a text saying my car was ready for pick up! 40 minutes flat and they had my car ready. Pricing was about $200 less than I had anticipated too! I have always gone to Americas Tire / Discount Tire, but THIS was the best experience yet!

We got to the Discount Tire store 5 minutes before closing needing new tires. Despite the fact that by the time we picked out tires it was well past closing and the installers had gone, the assistant manager Spencer happily offered to install the tires. Job well done ! Excellent customer service !

First time at Discount Tire today. We had a very slow leak in one tire and pulled in with no appointment to see if we could get it patched up real quick. Wait time was 1.5 hours which we didnt mind seeing as they were busy and we didnt have an appointment. They are walking distance from a shopping district, so it was convenient to drop the car off and do some shopping while we waited. They fixed the leak a few minutes early, were super friendly, and sent us on our way with no BS at all. Will 100% be doing more business in the future.

Had a new set of 4 tires mounted to just over an hour as a walk-in. Very happy with the knowledge and professionalism of the staff. My family has been going here for years.

Pulled in got taken right care of tevin came right out and got my tire and took it in the shop area and me n my daughter went in n chilled out ... Mind u its looked busy 7 people in their so 25 mins goes by and they came out and said back in the trunk with it ... And top that NO CHARGE !!!!!!!

Went here to get a price to have tires mounted and balanced (already had tires ) and the guy quoted me 250$ just to mount and balance a set of tires. Went 1/4 mile to hibdons down the road and was only 140$ not to mention discount didnt even offer alignment. Wont ever be going back her again after having that worker try to bend me over that hard for a mount and balance and I used to buy all my tires here including all my fleet trucks for my business.

Price little higher than I thought for a place with a name of discount in their name. Was my first time here. Hibdon about $12 cheaper per tire installed which is a good chunk of change ($48) when your in a budget. But service was awesome and waaaaay faster than hibdon (Have spent over 2 hrs there a couple of times). So if u dont care about time then hibdons prob ur place for the $ but for speed and nicer people and if u dont care about throwing out the extra $ this is the place.

I always get great service when I go to Discount Tire! I have purchased tires for my Mazda 3 from them for years now and I am always satisfied at what I get. Today I went to Discount Tire around 5:30 to have someone check my tire pressure and it was done within 15 minutes, with no questions asked about who I am or whether I actually bought tires from them in the past.

Love the prompt attention when I came in and the excellent manner the associates have. Great job!

Had a tire blowout at 4:30, an hour and a half before they closed and they managed to have it fixed in 15 minutes for me!! Amazing crew, very helpful and efficient :)

I was told by a different local tire company that I needed a replacement tire due to a nail in it that was too close to the sidewall. I decided to call discount tires to check on the availability as my rear tire isn’t normally stocked (mustang gt) and I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service. I ordered my replacement tire and made an appointment for the following week. I chose curbside service so I called when I got there. David was the man who came out to my car and asked if he could inspect the tire before replacing it. It ended up that my tire didn’t need replacement after all. They kindly showed me where the nail was and patched it for free. I assume the other tire company was attempting to take advantage of the situation but David at discount tire was very honest and went out of his way to make the visit safe. Thanks so much!

Jake and his ape armed technicians waited for me to get off work and drive from Springer to Norman and arrive 30 minutes after close to unload, mount and load my new trailer tires on the bed of my truck so I can get my 40 race trailer back on the road after failed attempts with local tire shops in Ardmore. Now thats WORLD CLASS service!

Shop crew goofing off, no management. Hour to get one tire CARRYOUT. Walmart is much better than this place. Other locations might be ok, i have been to better. This is questionable even in an emergency. Its a party house with druggies playing grab butt.

Making a 3 hour drive and found a nail in my tire. I was afraid of ending up stuck. I went in and they plugged my tire for free! They we all very nice and got my tire done quickly even though it was a free service. I really appreciate it!

Ive been a discount customer for 6yrs and bought 12 tires so far. Tires from one of my cars are not from here, but i always bring it to here for tire rotation and re balancing - theyve never asked re-balancing cost for the last two visits, but today $40 was charged. ;)

Many tire choices, free coffee and water while you wait. You can also drop off a tire that needs repair. They will also tell you if its just a bad valvestem. One tip - get the Road Hazzard Gaurantee, well worth the money!

Rolled up on our spare with a total flat in the trunk. Needed to know whether we should try to patch the flat, buy a new tire or a new pair of tires for the back. The guy at the counter took time to talk through the options: whether purchasing an additional tire was actually necessary given our driving habits, why purchasing a new tire was likely the best option and what I could expect if we did try to patch the one with the leak. I was in and out quickly without any gimmicky sales tactics. They took the old tire to dispose of it with a small service fee. I appreciate the fast, friendly, and professional service!(Womens restroom was clean and does have a changing table, there is a small coffee station, but really nothing to keep very young children occupied.)

So far i have no complaints. I used to use hibdons but left due to many problems but since coming here Ive had no problems.

Had a slow leak with a small hole that needed to be patched. Waited two hours and then after they took the tire off, they told me they couldnt patch it AND wouldnt put the tire back on claiming it was too dangerous. Tried to sell me a new tire and pushed it hard. Eventually, I put the spare on myself and left. Went to another place, and they said Discount Tire was full of it. They fixed my tire and I went home. When I actually need to get new tires, I wont be buying from Discount Tire.

It was ok I just hate it when you get there Nobody in parking thinking Im going to get in there get my tire fixed only thing people had a appointment so you may have to wait 1 hour or more

Five is consistent excellence.Over the course of 15 years they have always been above board, honest, straightforward and quick to make good on any rare mistake - as well as to correct those made by competitors.My only affiliation with Discount Tire is as a long-time customer. Which I expect to be as long as I buy tires. It is refreshing to find a business - especially in car repair/maintenance - based on a model of growing the business through customer loyalty by way of treating people right.
