The appointment was fine. After they request all of your insurance information on the phone when they set the appointment, please be sure to bring your insurance and id cards with you for the appointment. They will ask you to repeat all the information you provided.

My 83-year-old dad needed hearing aids and they did a wonderful job fitting, explaining and just being supportive and there for my dad during this new era Of his life!They treated him with much respect and were very patient.Although the burden will fall on me to be sure that he gets them in right every day and get some charged correctly every night it was an easy transition and the volume on the TV has already gone down thank God!!

Heather explained how hearing aid worked and gave instructions how to use and clean it. She answered all of my questions patiently. She is a pro and an asset to the company.

I had difficulty inquiring about local hours. I was disconnected in my attempt to make the inquiry. When I arrived with my Mom and her hearing aids- the door was locked even though the door stated they were open.The person who answered the door was very abrupt and told me an appointment was necessary even for “walk-up” hours that were posted on the door. The employee did finally -though with great frustration and impatience agree to provide us with batteries and filters- then returned only to state she would “clean” the aids as well. After returning the aids to curbside, one of the aids still wasn’t working. She was pleasant by this point and eagerly took the aid back in and was successful in getting the aid to work effectively. Ultimately, my needs were met to satisfaction, however the initial customer experience was awful.

When I arrived for my consultation, I noted the audiologist was not wearing a mask, and when asked why, she replied that it was not mandatory for audiologists because some clients needed to read lips. Since I do not read lips, I requested that she wear a mask. She replied that she didnt think it was necessary. She then lectured me on why gloves were not needed and that I didnt understand the situation. I not only thought she was wrong, I thought her attitude was confrontational and patronizing. I also dont like being called dear by a relatively young person, which is condescending at best. I will go elsewhere.

I was really happy with Hearinglife until recently. We have purchased 3 different sets of hearing aids for my dad. He is 93 and has had strokes, he keeps losing them. We have spent thousands of dollars. This last set does not work. I have been to Hearinglife, but due to COVID19 no walkins allowed. I called the local number, which still rings a national number, and held for 2 hours! I finally had to disconnect. So I am not happy and after almost 10 thousand dollars, my dad cannot hear.
