I went to Advance for a rear windshield wiper for a SUV. Previously I had trouble finding one at a general merchandise store. At Advance, they had a specific section for rear wipers. They had a code to scan to take you to a web page to enter your car model and it told you the wiper that you needed. The register line was fairly short and the person at the register was efficient. Overall a successful trip.

The employees at this location are very nice and were able to answer all my questions. My car had been unable to start this entire work week and I wasnβt sure if the battery was bad or if potentially the alternator or starter motor had issues. Mike kindly came outside on a blustery 30 degree day to run tests on the battery and I learned luckily only the battery had to be replaced. Another employee then quickly installed the replacement I purchased and got me on my way. I will definitely return here if I ever need to buy anything for my car.
It was ok, I was browsing the store waiting on a email confirmation. An hour n some change later (still waiting for confirmation) when two employees crowded me, acting as if they were looking for something, I simply looked over at one and told him what I was there for. He said its been pulled already. I understand this doesnt sound very significant but for me, poor performance non-the-less. Parts are good though #FUKaUTOzONE

I have witness two customers being rudely treated. I personally have been treated badly also. You need to check the manager and who she is hiring. I have been a customer for over 25 years and I never experience this kind of treatment. I put the item I needed back on the shelf and walked out of the store today.
Had parts no one else had, and great customer service. Mike in parts was very helpful, friendly and we got in and out quickly. Highly recommend and even ask for Mike directly!

I bought part online. They were a little lazy to send me the email that my part is read, otherwise part was perfect fit. And it was a good priced as well.
Sometimes you will think that a manager at store will know better then the employee. The answer is no and the manager name is Lisa.I purchase about $200 dollars online rooters and breaks front and the back received one front and one rear the break where good my mechanic could not put the front because there only one and only one for the back and he already but one for the front and we are messing one called asked for the manager ho donβt really care about the company and really I know because I have brought an issue to her and all she said if itβs online order bring it back and get your money back, But in reality I was asking her if I can pay for another rooters and some one delivered to the shop because my already mechanic working on it but all she replied I canβt and we donβt do that with online orders said sure my mechanic ordered other from pep boys same price even few dollars cheaper.Because she donβt care she just lost sales and returned the items for a full refund.
I have been working with Bill and Lisa for over a year now and the service I receive is phenomenal. They are always cheerful and very helpful no matter what I need. I would recommend using this store for all of your auto parts needs.

The auto parts store is just fine. My concern is they typically only have 1 or sometimes none of basic parts for the car. Might be better depending on make of car for others but for a 2015 vehicle, should be better stocked.
The employees dont know the return policy.. They have no Customer Service knowledge. Thats probably why the store is always empty. After trying to explain the policy Lisa only response was you can leave my store. Thats the problem she thinks its her store, Hey Lisa with no customers the store will go out of business. Advance Auto has quality parts, the best prices and discounts you could find but they let employees like Lisa drive good customers away. I will continue to be a Advance Auto customer but I will never return to that location and advise others to do the same until Lisa is no longer working there.......
I was looking for some very specific parts for a very specific application and I went to multiple stores that were clueless. I went to Advance and Lisa was a total expert and helped me with everything and got me all set up. I wonβt go anywhere else than the Advance in Norristown when I need real answers. Very impressed, would recommend to anyone!
Always has what we need
I purchased a battery from advanced auto parts and recently began having issues with it. So I went to this location on Saturday 9/21/19 to have my battery checked and they say we are getting a good reading, theres something else wrong with your car. Mind you I had literally just left a nearby auto zone,(I thought that was where I purchased my battery) and had my battery tested and they got a reading that said my battery was no good. So I leave advanced auto and end up breaking down 3 time over the next 2 days. I sat in 90 degree heat on 3 different occasions waiting for roadside assistance and was on the verge of a panic attack thinking my 2016 civic was giving out on me . I took my car to the dealership to have a comprehensive diagnosis test and WHAT DO THEY FIND?! I have a bad battery! Absolutely nothing else was wrong but a bad battery. I ended up having to pay honda $68 to tell me that I needed a new battery. So I return to advance auto, only because the battery was still under warranty, and the woman I spoke to on 9/23/19, was so nonchalant and careless. I told her I came here before about my battery and have since broken down 3 times, have had to wait hours for roadside on all 3 occasions, have had to pay $68 to Honda to inspect my vehicle, and have also lost wages as of a result of their incompetence. She says with a slight attitude, well if we dont get a bad reading then we cant give you a battery. They test my battery and the guy tells me, it says bad battery like I was supposed to be shocked! Then the woman tells him just switch it out, gathers my personal info and I see her leave for the day while hes changing my battery. NO I apologize for the inconvenience or sorry for what you went through or how about a sorry that we are incompetent. She actually seemed annoyed that I was right. I dont care if my care breaks down in the parking lot of their store, I will NEVER again in my life make a purchase from advance auto parts. Ever!
Iβve had great experiences here, but not today. My wifeβs car battery died. We were at home so it wasnβt too bad. I went to advanced auto parts and bought jumper cables in person went home jumped my car. Ordered a battery the most expensive one they had. Had a 10$ tip ready for who ever swapped it out. But the two guys told me they canβt do it today. It was 30 minutes before closing. 5:30 on a Tuesday NYE. So now I am waiting for an uber to pick me up to go home. I will come back tomorrow another uber ride. Very disappointed! Next time I will just go to another shop on that same block.

I come to this store with my husband a lot and we usually leave satisfied with the experience. Kat is very knowledgeable, gives us helpful tips and is always very pleasant. If this review was about her, I would definitely give her a 5 star rating. We came in here last week and unfortunately Kat was busy assisting another customer and we were left to deal with the rudest man I have ever met! He didnβt know diddly squat, kept interrupting other employees while they were helping other customers and even walked away from us at one point, leaving us standing there with confusion. I donβt know the other womanβs name but she informed us he was the new assistant manager. If that is who is in charge and feels it is acceptable to treat paying customers that way, we will not be returning!
I only leave this review because upon calling other auto parts stores they reciprocated my frustration with this location. Simple call/question and was told to hold on hold on I gotta do something carried on with someone else came back put me on hold and never picked back up. Called again and a different person answered TOTALLY clueless unhelpful and seemed annoyed to be asked questions about parts. What are employees for if not to be helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks, no thanks.
Didnt have an inventory. I wanted a set of sprakplugs for my Chevy V8 and they didnt have a complete set of 8in any brand they had on hand. Not the first time they didnt have parts on hand. Fella behind the counter acted like it wasnt anything out of the ordinary. Went to a competitor down the road.

Not sure why this store has so many positive reviews, maybe it was just an off day when I went to get my battery checked because the first employee was pleasant enough but had never checked a car battery before and had it running while trying to do so. Eventually, test after test, another employee had to come out and this time turned the car off. That did the job alright but didnt change my mind about the attitude of the employee as she walked away without even closing the hood of my car and didnt recommend installing a new battery despite the test results revealing low voltage and despite a phone call beforehand sayinhg they could and would. Never again:(
They go thru staff there faster than toilet paper. Thereβs always one person working the computers when they have a long line of customers. I order online because itβs faster and they take their good ole time finding a part if you ask at the counter. There stock is off too usually.
I always go here for stereo and lighting equipment.. They are really good for that and the word is inside are always friendly
Ive never had an issue with this store before....until today. I went in today to get oil, filter, and wipe blades. I took my old oil in with me, 3 containers 1 was reusable and 2 were throw away. I went in placed them on the floor as there were a lot of customers in line. I went and got my oil and blades. As I returned to the counter I noticed 1 of my oil containers leaked out. When it was my turn I told the associate and he went and got paper towels and gave them to me, instructing me to clean up the mess. Fine, it was my oil. He looked up my filter and got it for me. He started to check me out and I reminded him I needed my one container back. He then told me that I had to wait because he needed to take care of his customers first. Im pretty sure, I waited in line, cleaned up my oil mess and had money to pay for my things. Am I not a customer??? I asked him, and he said he didnt have time to dump my used oil. I left my things and told him Ill go elsewhere. He said thats fine, take care. Great customer service. So, they just lost a customer.
Came here because local AAs didnt have parts in stock. Ordered online. Took night team long time to find anything due to lack of store knowledge. General rudeness. They forgot part of order, and receipt, so I got to eat that cost. Without receipt, no other AA store could handle return so had to come back. Day crew was better, still lacking in the customer service area, but much better than night crew.

I went in one day, they said they had my part over the phone, i drove from pottstown to get it. turns out they didnt check and actually didnt have it, i ordered it through pdq, and wasnt delivered as promised, which i understand mistakes happen. my issue was i was unhappy, and i was frustrated i just needed the part that day because of pending snow storms. instead i decided to cancel because the item not only was refurbished, but i was still having to wait a day. i ended up going to my normal place{pep boys} and ended up with a brand new one, for $2 more with a lower core fee. i liked the night manager he was helpful. i was just frustrated with the day crew because while they tried to help it didnt seem as sincere when i told them i would just go somewhere else like NAPA and they told me it would be more expensive, after i explained i needed the part today. by no means is this a bad store, my experience was just bad and i will not go there again.
