I will never support this organization. Called for a pickup and waited weeks. The driver shows up and was rude and disrespectful. Instead of letting us know that their requirement is basically new furniture and not used, they wasted my time. The scheduler never said that if the furniture has 1 blemish or defect they will not accept it. Would have been nice if the incompetent employees we spoke to multiple times had explained this. After hauling a truckload of furniture out to the street, they refused it all and only took clothing. Now I have to find some neighborhood kids to pay to help pack it back into my garage.

Customer service was great. Was in and out within 5 minutes. Was picking up a shelf for a friend. Will definitely recommend you to my friends.

Very good thrift store with good deals on a lot of stuff (sometimes). They also offer discounts/specials sometimes. They have clothing, luggage, electronics and other assorted merchandise.

Not the first time I rush to this location.. only to find it CLOSED before the advertised hour. Today I made it in however half an hour before closing multiple employees rushing customers to end their shopping because the “register closes in ten minutes” again before closing hours. Is this even legal?????? Every store employee must know that closing time should be at the time advertised... NOT BEFORE. I hope this improves.

If you need a costume, this is your place. Actual clothes? Just dont. You might score a deal on cookware or furniture, but think twice about how that chair is going to look if released back into 2021.

Wow!! I was simply astounded at the size of this place! It is huge and immaculate! The salespeople are the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing...so friendly, kind and helpful! And the sales!! OMG! Best priced top quality clothing! I will shop here forever. But please note - all sales are final so use the opened dressing rooms while you still can!😃👍

I understand. the store is changing locations to Rockville Pike just south of the white flint metro. I don’t think the new location is open yet. The location by twinbrook is closed and empty. Area being redeveloped for Wegmans.The store carries a great selection though it can be a bit of a treasure hunt at times. I have found many great bargains here over the years, usually something unexpected.Wednesdays are busy with 50% off clothing.Best of luck in the new location. I will be visiting when you open.

Had the worst experience at this Store. Rude staff and manager is inconsiderate. I donated my wedding dress and bought a monitor same day. I was told I had 24 hrs to return. I returned the monitor after an hour and they wouldn’t accept it and no exchanges. Pretty much saying we are keeping your money and you get nothing. After a lot of back and forth, I exchanged what a got for $25 for $9.99. I regret donating my stuff at this place.You guys fail to understand that it’s not all about money, sometimes it is the right thing to do!

Really great prices, but you may have to search for awhile. I got a sweatshirt from Victorias Secret Pink for only $4 and my friend got a pair of unused white converse for $15. I would definitely go back and the staff are very friendly. They have great deals and sales and my friend got a shirt for only $1 that was super cute.

5 stars for the staff. Very nice and helpful. 3 stars for selection. They have a lot of inventory, but many are damaged and they staple the price tags right on the clothes. Some decent brands, but you really have to dig. Two stars for prices because they are all over the map, not like other places where all shirts are same price, jeans, etc. Some jeans are decent price and some tops, but there doesn’t appear to be much rhyme or reason to the pricing. In my opinion, the staff carries this place, not the products or prices. Check it out on Wednesday when clothes, shoes and purses are 1/2 price.

Great prices on clothing but one of the managers is very rude and mean to her staff. The last two times I was there she was yelling and belittling her staff. Myself and others were very uncomfortable and felt bad for the other employees.

The store is really clean and very well-organized. Theres a good number of fitting rooms compared to the other locations that Ive visited. The staff is also very friendly and courteous. They were apologetic that I was waiting in line for a couple of minutes, but I did not mind at all.One tip - Please stop stapling price tags to the clothes :( I purchased some nice quality tops, but they have holes in them from the staples.

Make sure theres a price tag on the items you take to the cash register. After just now attempting to buy a picture frame with no price on it, I was told I was unable to buy it. The cashier said, Youd be surprised how many people take off the price tags. I felt like I was being thrown into this category, all the moreso because I had recently purchased something missing a price tag there with no problems.

Initially, I was quite impressed with this store. The prices were reasonable and the selection was adequate. Recently, within the last month, the prices have sky-rocketed. I was most apalled today with the prices of the coats. In a place that receives its inventory from donations, I find it quite disturbing that coats would be priced at 50.00. In understanding the premise of Salvation Army, I dont think that coats, a necessity for Maryland weather, should be priced beyond affordable for those with lower incomes. I know those that donate would be outraged to see their efforts at charity be turned into profit for business, rather than a resource for those with less.

Rushed to make it before 6pm (which is their posted closing time) doors locked at 5:20, employees staring at a bunch of us standing outside without bothering to acknowledge us. Called and no answer.

Good customer care and service

Every item of clothing I purchased here has little holes because they insist on stapling the price on the clothing and not on the tag as common sense would dictate. Also they wanted $700 for a rug.... I kid not.

Very impressed with this store! Massive selection, very well organized as far as thrift shops go. Lots of mens, womens clothing -- both casual and formal.Much better than other local thrift stores. Would certainly come here again

Not a bad store. Plenty of clothes, but not much for electronics and DVDs. Be sure to check the color of your tags since certain colors are half price on certain days.

They have some nice stuff but you have to be willing to look for it. There shirts are really cheap.

Store was clean but prices are way too high and most merchandise I saw wasnt in good shape. $9 for a stretched out top with major pilling? No thanks. $20 for a thin jacket with stains and a broken zipper? Pass. Id only consider buying clothing during the half price discounted ticket days. Even then, meh...

Scheduled a pick-up for a mint condition couch via their website. I’ve maybe sat on it twice. Blocked off my entire day to wait at home since they don’t give pick-up windows, only dates (which I’m completely fine with), and waited. At 2:00pm I gave a call to check when they thought they might arrive and was told by Wyatt that “the driver tried to come at 1:00pm and no one was home.” FALSE.I explained to Wyatt that not only had I been home all day, but that the driver had my number and never called, and that I have a 24/7 concierge who also never saw the driver come by. Not only did Wyatt not seem to care much about the inconvenience, he also did not make any effort at all to reschedule because I “was the last stop” and at 2:00pm, the driver was already in for the day.First interaction with the SA of Rockville. I don’t see this as representative of my experiences with Salvation Army in general and I’m very disappointed that someone who would have appreciated this new furniture will not have access to it thanks to a couple of unhelpful staff.

Store closed at 5:15 pm on a weekday. Supposed to be open until 6. 7 other people milling around outside store confused about why it isn’t open. Person inside, won’t come to door.

There are wonders there! I was there to donate clothes, but found myself shopping there. Lots of childrens clothing in relatively good condition. A lot of household items and rare items (which you will hardly find in other shops). And the prices .. its given!
