Karl, Sean, Ashley and the rest did not rush or jump to conclusions. I had the time to let the solution unfold as the European Team systematically eliminated possible causes for my low boost codes. Ultimately the cause was my own doing. European Road and Racing did not point fingers but set about to make my car purr like a kitten. They made me feel like a collaborator in coming up with the solution and not just another idiot customer who tried to install his own turbos. I won’t take my car anywhere else!!

I was recommended to European Road & Racing by a friend. They installed a new exhaust on my MK5 Supra and did a fantastic job. It sounds and looks superb. Wonderful service, wonderful place. Ive had my Mercedes SLK for 6+ years and wish I had always known about ERR. After being screwed over one too many times at Baker Mercedes, I asked around and was referred to ERR by someone whos been in the car business for 25 years. They did not disappoint! Not only were they upfront about the breakdown of cost for a transmission fix, but it was far cheaper than what Baker quoted me AND they were able to perform work that other local shops were not. Friendly and on time, and they did a wonderful job. I will definitely be going back to them.

Just had another wonderful experience at European. They are so professional and extremely courteous and accommodating. I left there so happy with the entire experience. There’s a few places to use for Mercedes maintenance in Charleston, but I won’t even consider going anyway else.

After getting completely burned by an import repair shop here in Myrtle Beach, a friend with a pair of very nice, vintage Ferrari’s recommended Karl & Martin to me. Yes it is over 100 miles from here to N. Charleston but I’d drive 3 times that distance for the opportunity to have these guys work on my car. Their knowledge and expertise is exactly what I needed to bring my ‘79 Porsche 928 barn-find with 24k miles back to life. It now drives like it just left the showroom...just 40 years later! These guys run a business like it should be run...no “up-sales” BS and fair pricing with a hyper- knowledgeable, service-minded staff. 5 stars sells them short in my opinion!

My favorite part about European Road & Race is the top notch service and great rates. Im a retired mechanic and work on my own cars but there are a few things that cant be done at home, like tires. Im glad I was able to order my tires and bring them to ERR for installation. Next on the list is coil overs and I will be back for an alignment. Thank guys!

I found European Road & Racing to be refreshingly honest. I took my older Mercedes in with what I thought were three significant mechanical issues. I was told that I didn’t need one of the repair, one was not a needed feature but nice to have, and one problem that needed. They spent two weeks searching for a part for that nice feature which is no longer made. They went above and beyond to get my baby back on the road.

What can I say!!!! Just happened to be driving in the same direction as this business when I could not avoid a large piece of metal in the road …and the damage was done. I drove straight to European Road and Racing and asked for help. They took my car back and quickly checked for damage to the underneath. Thankfully, they found no damaged other than the damage to the piece protecting the under areas. They removed the damaged piece and have already ordered the replacement part. They made my day! This is the second time that I have been there with the first time being for Oil/filter change and a ‘checkup’ for my BMW. I would highly recommend them!!!

Hands down the best euro shop in the Chareleston area. Karl and his team/family are the best in the business. Always very honest and candid about what is going on, and willing to go above and beyond to help a customer out. He has personally given me a ride home when I had to drop my car off for work, and didn’t have a ride home. He has worked on several of my cars, and fixed issues that were caused by other people/shops. All the work I had done elsewhere, I can honestly say I regret not taking it to them instead. I can’t recommend them highly enough, and consider Karl as more than just the euro car repair master, but as a friend as well. You cannot go wrong with using them for any of the services you may need. If 10 stars was an option, I’d leave 11.

Karl and crew FORGOT more about European performance motors than most other shops know. I’ll never trust my beloved NA V8 RS5 to anyone else. I had an issue with my VW CC where I thought I was going to have to replace a window regulator. Turns out Karl and his team found the issue where the frameless window was hanging up and not allowing it to move when using the door. I was in and out for much less than I thought I was going to have to spend with him finding the real source of the issue. I am sold and now bringing my Maserati to him this week. Very friendly team, everyone is extremely courteous and professional. European Road and Racing is second to none if you’re expecting honesty and top notch service.

Unbelievable service! I walked-in yesterday (Thursday) late afternoon to see if there was any possibility they could install my carbon fiber front lip, rear diffuser and mid spoiler before Saturday on my BMW x3m competition. I knew this was unlikely but figured at the very least I’d get to check out the shop and all the cars they’re working on. Although they had no availability until 3 weeks from now, Sean told me to drop the car off first thing this morning and he’ll get it done. Sean did just that and kept me updated with photos/vids via text the whole way. Love to see a true BMW enthusiast like Sean take pride in his work and go out of his way to make sure I was satisfied with the installation. I have more plans for the vehicle and will not be taking it anywhere other than ERR.

I just got my 2013 M5 back from European road and racing after they replaced the rod bearings. This is hands down the best shop to take your european or exotic vehicle. Very clean shop and super professional. I live in Greenville SC and made the trip to Charleston just because they really are the best at what they do.

I have used European Road and Racing for general maintenance on my BMW since i got it and they have always been very honest and helpful in our interactions. Recently I had an issue with my AC. I live in SC and drive a lot for work, so this was a bad thing. everyone was telling me 5-6 weeks because of over booking. European Road and Racing said they could do it in two weeks. However, when the part came in, they fit me in THAT DAY, so I waited less than a week. Unbelievable.

Shawn is such a gentleman! I went to Gerald tire to get new tires and they were unable to take the lug nuts off due to them being stripped. They told me that if they tried to take them off it would caused serious damage to the tune of $1200! So I called European road and racing and I spoke to Shawn, I explained my situation to him and with no hesitation he told me to bring my car so that he can take a look at it. The team at European Road and Racing in North Charleston were efficient, thorough, and honest. I brought my 04 Porsche 911 to them to diagnose a check engine light and do a post-purchase inspection (they also do PPI). They got the car back quickly and diagnosed a minor inexpensive problem that fixed my engine issue. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. They even let me stay inside after closing keep warm and dry until my ride got there. I was so pleased, I brought them my BMW for routine service immediately afterwards. Great experience.

Called Karl to let him know that my 07 335i bmw displayed an overheating symbol. I asked him if I could bring my car in to do a diagnostic test for error codes. Karl told me he was booked solid until January of 2021 but, if I could bring the car down right away he would do the test to see what the problem was. The test revealed the electric water pump was the culprit. Karl and his crew squeezed my car in on top of their extremely busy schedule and had my car repaired and ready the next day. Now I called that a real Thanksgiving treat. Big thanks to Karl and his crew.Carl

I was looking for someone who was very familiar with older BMWs and in talking with the shop owner, it sounded like they had the experience i was looking for. European Road & Racing adjusted the suspension setup and wheel alignment along with a few other maintenance items.
