Have been going to this location for over 30 years. Even with the Dr. changes, still a great place to come to make sure Im seeing all that needs to be seen. This place is awesome, I had to get new glasses, picked a frame and after a week didnt care for them. The office staff was great on helping me find another pair that was more my style. Very nice and polite staff to compliment a great eye doctor. He was able to remove a piece of metal embedded in my cornea and was able to make me feel comfortable through the whole process. Thank you

I had the best experience with My Eye Doctor!! Dr Salvatore was truly amazing!!! He is such a kind hearted individual!! I’m so glad, that I found them on the internet!!! I told my sister about him, and my mom!! So be on the look up for more patients!!! I love you guys!! Oh!! And another thing... I tried on EVERY pair of frames in the office... and they helped me with a smile, and honesty!!! The receptionist even helped out, she was pretty awesome also!! If you’re looking for an optometrist... definitely go by and see Dr Salvatore, and his wonderful staff!!! AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!! Thanks!!!!
Where do I start!... Well, 1st, someone from management or corporate needs to check this location out in North Charleston and evaluate and educate them on proper Customer Service, Inventory, Order Tracking and not wasting customers time and gas money. I have had not 1, but 2 Awful experiences at this same location. On both visits, I paid for and order specific glasses, and both times I was notified by email, text and phone call my order was complete and ready for pick up. Each time I went to do so, the orders were either incorrect, missing items in order, and the techs there are scrambling about to find customers glasses and orders and they have a terrible inventory and tracking system going on. This most recent visit, I ordered, paid for and left my Oakley Glasses with them and ordered new linses. I GET notification my order is complete and ready for pick up. I take time to leave early, drive there to pock up and the manager and techs are scrambling around to find my glasses. She said Where are your frames? I actually gave them to you and the techs to put my new linses in. The linses came in and my frames(which are my personal Oakley frames) are in Florida somewhere. I talked to the manger, expressed my displeasure and concerns... and all they can ever say is Im sorry. Well I am tired of Im Sorry, wasting my time and Gas money to come pick up orders I am told are complete only to get there and find out they are not there, missing and nobody knows whats going on. In short,.... the CS, Order tracking, communication, and incomplete orders at this location are horrible. Not to mention they are always understaffed, wait times are terrible, and there is a sense of non coridinated and systematic lack of tracking, quality control and terrible customer service skills. This needs to be fixed. Im seriously considering never going to My Eye Dr again, and recommending same to my family and friends unless they can turn this place around. Thanks for listening.

At first I was a little disgruntled - for many of the reasons that the service/health care industry is conducted. They could have been more informative about their process in the begining, but it turned out to be pretty transparent and typical eye exam. Dr. Deanna Orvin (sp?) Is smart, efficient, and comforting. This place really hooked me up and in the end I left smiling. Always know your benefits before you go into any eye place -- And give this place a try!
Staff was super nice and the doctor was so so enthusiastic about teaching us about our vision and why our eye problems are what they are. Very thorough and passionate about his job. It was nice to see someone so happy to be talking about his profession.

They don’t accept Medicaid. They waited until we got to the appt to tell us that. We book it online and made it clear that we had Medicaid. They should’ve called and told us instead of making us drive all the way there to tells us they don’t accept it.
