Weve trusted this place for over 6 years. Theres a new lead guy at the front who tells you like it is. They actually took my car out and told me VW was lying to me and didnt charge me a dime for the test. Im not saying theyll do that for everyone but they are good people. Im going back there instead of VW from now on.

Artic Auto Air is one of the best shops around. I have taken a couple cars here multiple times for repairs being needed, shop owners/ employees were very respectful towards me, honest, and professional, the prices were also very good and the wait time was always short. They will always keep you updated on the status of your car while you are waiting for maintenance to be done and will guide you honestly of what is needed for a complete repair. I have nothing but good news to say about this shop because I am highly satisfied of how they respectfully treat customers like myself and do an amazing job! Will keep going in the future!

Adding on to Original Complaint, so that all new customers know what kind of man the owner is.Bryan U. (the owner) is the man who was standing next to my car. He is the man who said that my car will be ready in an hour after being told that it would be ready in 5 minutes after removing coolant. After I left the shop, my car overheated, I blew a head gasket and my registration sticker was gone from my license plate. No proof, but this is exactly how it went down.I made a call to the highly recommended Arctic Air. It was a Wednesday and they gave me their first appointment 8 am Monday morning. My AC worked some of the time but would turn off when car was idling.They charged $32 just to look at car then gave me an estimate of $1400. I was upset. They said I needed a whole new AC System. Walked outside to cool down. I went back in and apologized and told them I just wanted to pay for estimate and leave. They said they needed to take coolant out of car and I would have it back in 5 minutes. I went back outside. He said “1 hour!”. I did have my car back within 5 minutes after going back inside and asking.I took my car to a Cape Coral mechanic. Thermostat problem. It had nothing to do w AC $186 and he also found a punctured radiator hose.These guys are crooks and I have the proof that mechanic punctured radiator hose. I have a blown engine because of what your mechanic did. Perfectly fine car. I will continue to post wherever I can. And I will have 2 signs on my new car Arctic Air N Ft Myers ruined my last vehicle.Let’s make one thing clear if I could take you to small claims I would.PS Let meMake one thing clear to anyone willing to take their vehicle to Arctic Air, this did happen and I know who the mechanic is that’s responsible. I was irate and apologized. Seems like a nice place with good people, but with just one experience here, it’s hard to give a detailed review. We paid for the thorough check-up on our car. I was a bit concerned because they said the oil was 7k miles overdue. The oil had just been changed at home by a friend, but the sticker said it was 7k mikes overdue. Seems to me like they didn’t actually check the oil, but only looked at the sticker. I was happy with their other observations on our car.

Every visit I have made to Artic Air I was greeted with professionalism. I was impressed with the order and cleanliness of the front area, which makes one believe that it is carried out in the actual work being done. The Mrs. of the company appeared each time and conveyed a welcoming warm vibe each time, like they really care about their customers.

We use Artic Auto Air for our fleet maintenance and repairs. We have tried several different shops in the area and been disappointed each time. Artic Auto Air has fair prices and do a great job. We have used them for tires, brakes, now transmission repair, rear axles, and all the maintenance. We are very happy.

This place is great if you can afford their full recommended services. If you only can afford a partial repair, you will talked down to. I declined a 1100 compressor repair and only had them fix the actuators and install a fuel filter for 390. When I asked for clarification about my price. the manager got hostile, started aggressively shuffling the papers while explaining the charges. He then reminded me that my leaky compressor will leak the gas out and blow hot eventually. Duhhh!! Leaky tires go flat too!! I am not sure if he wanted me to authorize a repair I cannot currently afford or if he just does not want the type of customer he is surrounded by in this area. I am guessing it is the latter. Edit. I appreciate them reaching out to apologize. I raised my review to 3 stars. I have had many positive experiences here in the past and only one other problem which I believe was an honest mistake.

I brought my vehicle in for my air conditioning not blowing cold. I was given a proposal with 3 major components of my a/c system bad and a huge ($ 2500) repair estimate. I took it to a GMC dealer for an estimate and they replaced one component (rear evaporator) for less than half of what Artic wanted. My air is working great and no problems. I believe this shop is not honest.

I own a 1999 Chevy K1500 Z71 I bought new and still a daily driver, My AC started to act up so I recharged once, but after several recharges I took it to Artic Auto Air, and I was presented with an estimate, which was very reasonable for a new system. They did amazing work and even did a few checks when I had a concern. I highly recommend this business, one of the last honest auto repair businesses in my area

What a great team at Artic Auto. They stand by their work, are extremely professional and have been my only source of auto repair work on any of my cars over the last 7 years. I trust what they tell me to be the truth and to provide honest, competent service at fair prices. When I have had an issue, they stood by there work and corrected it without issue or challenges even when I didnt remember and issue was covered by warranty. I simply cant imagine anyone else taking care our vehicles.

Rude person who answers the phone. I had a couple of easy questions, I got hostility for all of them. They just want you to bring your car in and then theyll go from there. you dont need to know the prices of any services before hand.when artic responds to this theyll have something to say to make it sound like I was wrong. dont believe them go anywhere else.

This was the first time Ive ever used Arctic air although Ive driven by their business for over a decade now. They gave me a time to be there and I got right in, price was right and the work was done properly. I scheduled some other work for them to do the following week because I felt that they were trustworthy and knew what they were doing.Edit to my previous review. After the AC work above was done it quickly did the same thing again. They either didnt vacuum down the system before introducing the freon or they did and didnt bother telling me there was a leak so that $150 was down the drain. If you cant pull a vacuum below 0 somewhere close to -20 to - 30 then you have a leak. I ended up replacing everything myself and vacuumed the system down myself and put the freon in myself.

Alex the service manager was friendly and not pushy he greeted me and took my vehicle info and had me in and out of the workstation fast. He explained what was done and even told me the work was guaranteed for 3yrs. This is a place i would definitely tell friends and family about. Seriously you cant beat the prices. $90 to install a battery is a joke. He said he would cut it in half but even $45 is ridiculous. The battery is under a door with 1 screw and nothing else in the way. It is easier than under the hood. He would not even look at it.

Someone took a dirty cabin air filter out and left it, a plastic stripe and 2 large plastic screws on the front passenger floor. Was this to be thrown away because a new one was installed? I was never asked if I wanted it replaced......my answer would have been yes, but I was never asked and I dont know if I have a filter in place. Now I have to go to another business and try to get this resolved. An unfinished job!!

Bryan greeted me and was so professional and listened as I tried to describe what was going on. he took me right away. a beautiful woman came to the desk and explained their referral program, which is great for my friend and I. I called on a Saturday for a Monday appointment and they had one. I was having so much done it carried into Tuesday morning but was done first thing Tuesday morning. They are great to work with and the car is running tip top again. I have used them since 2008 and will continue to do so.

I have been going to Artic Air since 2008 when I was referred to them. Since then they are the only ones to work on our cars . Brian, Alex, Gary and whole staff is honest and only has only one thing on their mind, getting your vehicle back on the road repaired, safe and at an affordable price. I have had only a couple times bring the car back for same tho g and everytime they have stood behind their work and corrected the issue.(it happens). I had to relocate to Columbus GA area for last year or so and I was worried if I needed a repair and if I did find someone with the same Business ethics. Their response to me was I can call them. To compare price and service . not going to be exactly the same but at least in the ball park. Not many if any would do that. I tried to plan my oil changes, planned repairs on my every 6 weeks visit back here. Always service with a smile. You guys Rock!!!
