Scott was an amazing guy. We found a listing for one car and another that was coming soon. Scott immediately contacted us about the new car the second it got on the lot. We went to check out both cars and were very impressed by the lot. It looks small but every vehicle on that lot has a great history, is checked out by a third party mechanic so you know what they say is the truth, and very reasonably priced. In todays lack of used cars there isnt another lot I would recommend going to. I purchased a 2008 Volvo xc90 at a very reasonable price, had it check out by my own mechanic and he couldnt find a thing wrong with it. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I came to R.E. Davis over a year ago (long overdue review) and purchased a 2003 Honda Accord EX after getting into a car accident. I had done my research previously before stopping by and had it narrowed down to two vehicles-the Honda being one of them. Unlike most car dealerships, I wasnt ambushed as soon as I walked onto the lot.I had explained the cars I was looking at and that I wanted something that was safe and reliable since I drove a lot. Instead of pushing me to a more expensive vehicle that I wasnt interested in, I was given the pros and cons of each vehicle and told that if I was family they would tell me to go with the Honda. The financing process was a BREEZE! They bent over backwards to get me the best deal they could and walked me through the entire process and explained any speed bumps that came along.I would 100% recommend checking them out. They always have a great selection of inventory and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. It has been over a year and I am still THRILLED with my car!

I’ve now purchased two Subaru Foresters from these guys in the past two months (my car got totaled in a highway crash two months and one day after purchasing my first). Both times they’ve genuinely helped me navigate the car-buying process in a non-condescending, honest manner (I’m a mid-twenties female without extensive car knowledge, and I’ve had mechanics and “car guys” try to take advantage of that before) at a reasonable price. Not your typical used car dealer. They dont push you to buy anything, the guys were cool and helpful. Bill helped me get out of my truck with negative equity and put me in the truck that i wanted. A+ would definitely buy again.

Bought a car from them, and had problems first day. asked for help with the problem and got no help, said they would call me with a solution, I never got a call. Said the car was all checked out by their mechanic ( who it a joke) couple months having the car their is issues the mechanic should have seen if he actually looked over the car, now I need to spend at least $600 on one of the problems and God only knows about the other problem... Dont buy from here they only sell junk!!! I have no conflicts with other vendors, your mechanic is clueless in looking over cars, and there is more than just the expensive taillight issue, which is not a simple fix. You are just trying to justify selling people junk vehicles... Just for one of the problems turned into a nightmare costing $900 and thats not even dealing with the taillight issue. Useless mechanic went through the car! STAY AWAY from this place!!!

Bought a 2003 Trailblazer here. Great truck at a great price! Unfortunately it was totaled out as my wife caught a huge gust of wind (50mph) on 101 when there was ice on the road. Sent her into a ditch and the truck rolled up on the drivers side. Well, we obviously needed a new truck. Went back to R.E. Davis to see what was available. Found an even nicer, newer Trailblazer for another good price. First truck was such a deal that when insurance totaled it out we ended up making money on it! Enough to payoff the first truck, cover the down payment on the new truck and pocket $200! Pleasure to do business with. Next time I need a vehicle I am coming here first.

Recently purchased a second vehicle off this dealership, 06 Infiniti M35X. Test drove 2 other vehicles on the lot, salesman had Carfax reports printed out and there was no pressure. Left to think it over for a day, and decided to finance, did the credit app over their website and was contacted by the Credit Union with an hour to go over numbers, then contact 2 hours later by bank to say, approved, check was ready.My insurance company faxed over my binder and car was plated and inspected and waiting for me at the agreed upon time. Paperwork was less than 15 minutes and car was out front ready to go.Easy process, great deal, and nice clean cars......I was looking for something luxury and decent mileage under 12 grand and they had many options, I narrowed it down to 3. 1 Sold in the day I took to think it over...Thanks guys, keep it up...see you when Im ready for #3.

This is the first review I have ever written, but after my experience today I felt like this dealership deserves a great review. Very polite over the phone checking on their inventory. My family got to test drive a vehicle without the pressure of a salesman in the truck with us. We loved the truck and decided to buy from them without being pushed at all. I am recovering from a bad credit score and all the usual banks declined me. They knew I wanted the truck and my only option was to have a interest rate of above 20% they worked really hard to get it down to 17% that was the best anyone could do and I agreed and told them I would be back with my down payment. While I was getting my part taken care of Jim and Scott had gone above and beyond getting me an interest rate of 8.9%!!!! They surprised me with a much better contract when I returned that afternoon. These guys are not like any other dealer I have ever dealed with, honest hard workers with great social skills. I couldn’t be happier. If I ever need another vehicle or someone asks me for a good dealer, I will send them to the guys over at R.E.Davis Auto Sales in North Hampton!

This has to be the best used car dealership I have ever come across in the months that I was shopping for a specific model Subaru. I drove 5.5 hours from New York City to New Hampshire and I would do it again. I dealt with Tom for a few weeks getting information and pictures of the car I wanted. By the time I got to see the car I felt like I already knew everything about it. Nothing was left uncovered for me to find out at the time of my visit. Tom was very professional and never tried to swindle me into the car like many other used car dealerships did in New York and even one in Boston. I have nothing but good things to say. I am very fortunate that the specific model Subaru was at R. E. Davis Auto Sales and not at any other dealership.

My experience was that these guys do not check over their vehicles properly before listing them from sale. I had to put in a lot of work on mine after purchase. Tires, radiator, hose leak, air suspension issue, brakes, etc. So Dont trust the sales guy....even when you ask...did your mechanic check it out? and they say yes. and you ask what did they find? and sales guy says oh just a light out. STOP....take that extra measure to have another mechanic check it out before you purchase from RE Davis and their smooth reassurance. Because they havent checked a thing.......lesson learned.

Talked to two different sales people on the phone that told me the only rust on this truck was on the inside surface of the door seem. I drove an hour to buy this and had to finally go in and stand there, then finally ask for some help. I found that lower door is rotted, as well as the inner and outer rocker had huge holes, not to mention the spring hanger was rotting off which was causing the springs to twist, so it was not even safe to take for a test drive, never mind driving it home. Just another deceitful used car lot.

Dealt with Scott. Very much a salesman... Unfortunately, i wasnt looking to be sold. When i left and said that i would speak with my bank(she was off today due to her saturday shift) he called me less than 3 hours later and gave me an attitude because he had not heard from me. He claimed that he was holding the vehicle for me even though he repeatedly said, i dont care if you buy it, Ive got other people... Rude, unprofessional, and unsavory to say the least. However, the rest of the staff seemed very friendly. Perhaps I had an isolated bad experience...
