Their inability to quote, design and fabricate trusses is only eclipsed by their unethical business practices.Pat, their salesman is incompetent, willing to say whatever is needed to close the deal but has no authority to live up to any of his commitments. Craig, who is head of their design department, has the personality of a rock. He inputted the wrong design loads on the truss drawings which wasted countless engineer hours trying to correct his easy mistake. When the mistake was pointed out to him, he blamed the engineer.The initial cost, with no design changes, went up by 50%... which I suppose was better then the delivery time, which tripled in duration from what was promised.If you are a fire victim, trying to rebuild, Walker Lumber and Truss will take advantage of you. They will steal from you. They are dishonest. If you have already made the mistake of placing a deposit with them, run. Do not use them. I have been in business as a GC in Santa Rosa since 1988. I have never dealt with a more dishonest, incompetent supplier. It was shocking to me to see a company that would take advantage of the situation in Santa Rosa.Once we did receive the trusses, it got even worse. Their equipment is dangerous...their rigging is damaged and their operator is as incompetent as the rest of the jokers that work for this company. They put the lives of my workers in jeopardy with their incompetence, with their dangerous rigging.The trusses were fabricated incorrectly. It took many labor hours to correct simple mistakes that they made in design. Trusses should not have to be re-fabricated to fit...Walker Lumbers Trusses do.Run, dont walk away from this company.
3 months to deliver trusses is not acceptable especially after paying a deposit 2 months before. I canceled my order and lost $520. They said their staff was on vacation and they were backlogged.
