We were in town from 1100 miles away. Had wheel bearing go out. They were not able to get it off and had to order another part. Unfortunately it was the weekend then. They gave us a car to use for the weekend. The part arrived at 3:00, the technician jumped right on the job in hopes to get it done before they closed at 4:45. HE DID GET IT DONE. So extremely grateful for him and the staff. Highly recommend this place if ever i need. Thank you so much!!

Big thanks to Cherry Grove Automotive for getting the golden eagle back on the road. Had to replace the rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads. This place is top notch, I was on vacation from PA and had a check engine light come on the day before I had to drive 11 hours to get back home and they took my car in and I was back on the road in a few hours and they even gave me a loaner so I didn’t lose my last day on vacation. Car worked great and weeks later is still running smoothly. These guys are friendly and honest and I appreciated their help so much.

Had the misfortune of having my harmonic balancer, yes that’s a real car part, fall off while on vacation. AAA towed my vehicle to Cherry Grove at night. Spoke to the staff when they opened at 8am. They told me they would look at it that morning, which they did. They called me and told me they would have me fixed by that afternoon, which they did. Great repair. Reasonable price. Yes AAA tow driver recommended Cherry Grove to us it was told to them after hours on a Friday and by Monday at lunch time we picked it up the price was a little bit higher than expected for a starter and an alternator but they honored are AAA discount and we thought wed give him a shot at it we have a warranty on our parts so far so good

What a fabulous place! What a fabulous 1st timer experience! I had read good reviews about this shop so I decided to bring my vehicle in to have it checked for some seeming exhaust sound. This is also the 1st time this vehicle needed any type of service except for normal maintenance. Less than 20 minutes after dropping it off, I got a call from the shop telling me that it was not at all an exhaust problem, but an issue resulting from incomplete oil change at a big box store that does oil changes! They noticed the issue, battened down the hatches and job complete! They certainly earned my respect and business. Scheduling was also a breeze. Wonderful service at the desk and they were able to take my vehicle in 2 days after I was there, on precisely the day that I was hoping for. Good local people! Support your local businesses!

We love the area of Cheery Grove in North Myrtle beach. We have been coming here to Myrtle Beach since about 1994. This year was not a good experience but Cherry Grove Automotive went above and beyond for us. On our second day my wife went to get groceries and when leaving our truck was dead. AAA was called and it was taken to Cherry Grove Automotive. They are great people and were very professional! Not only did they get to looking at the problem right away they gave us a loaner car to use. The repair was completed rapidly(Starter) and ready for pickup the next morning. At first I thought the cost of repair was high but taking into the account of giving us a loaner car made me realize that if I spent time and money to find a rental car it would have been easily over $100 for rental plus insurance. So the price was fair considering the time away from my vacation I would have spent looking for a rental. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed!

My partner and I were down at the beach on vacation and my car had started failing while down there and the fine folks here were such a big help. Diagnosed the issue quickly and worked with me to get a part ordered and installed quickly. All the while letting us use a lender car while it was worked on over the next few days which is something very kind and rare to see. They made a stressful situation during our vacation much less so. This shop prides itself on quality and on being in business a long time. I took a problem auto to get fixed. The codes were all over the board, giving them ample opportunity to pile on with work and the bill. Instead, they quickly and accurately found a SINGLE problem which caused the many codes. It was repaired quickly, the price was more than fair for what they had done. I would DEFINITELY recommend Cherry Grove Automotive to friends and family.

Very pleased with friendliness, service and promptness...... called and explained that my vehicle would need to be towed in, but that there was no rush... as I had access to another car. But instead, they had a tow truck at my location within 20 minutes. Since it was an older vehicle with a good amount of miles on it, I told them just to do a comprehensive check ( as it had several issues ) and I didnt want to put alot of money into it.They got to it right away, despite the fact that there was no rush... and called back within a few hours of their findings.I had them do just a couple of things, to make it road worthy. And they didnt try to talk me into having all of the other issues done. Their charge for everything that they did do, was very reasonable.I am very satisfied, and will not hesitate to use them again.

We were on vacation at the beach and our van s alternator locked up. I called Cherry Grove Automotive after hours and the recording gave me the number of a towing company. The tow truck arrived in ten minutes and dropped off the van at your auto repair shop. The next am, we had to be out of our rented condo by 10:00. Friends dropped us off to your repair shop where we thought we may have to wait quite awhile. We were stranded there basically! But, the waiting room was very pleasant and we only had to about one hour! So thank you Cherry Grove Automotive for taking such good care of us!

Well right out of the gates this was an honest shop, the gal was laughing when i came to the phone due to Iam cussing coming out of a near repair shop, this shop was right on I had asked for a thermostat replacement, got me in the next morning, a full of life mural at front desk and in the waiting room, nice art work,, Reasonable prices, did not take advantage out of town let alone a women, excellent customer service, all the way around, and watched every one work together, a great experience, Thank you

They are totally honest, very accommodating, and they back up all of their work. My Hyundai Sonata had problems that even the Hyundai dealership couldnt solve and they repaired it quickly and inexpensively.I cant believe the negative comments that Ive seen posted on these Google Reviews. The service and honesty of this business is beyond reproach.I can not and will not take our cars to any other repair facility in the N. Myrtle Beach area. They are THE BEST.

I am retired Air Force and a licensed aircraft mechanic and have worked on cars for over 30 years. I have used auto repair centers in Little River and North Myrtle Beach and I have found that Cherry Grove automotive has been the most reasonable priced and honest automotive repair center that I have experienced here in Myrtle Beach.I had a break issue and went to another service center and they quoted me over $1500 to repair my brakes. They had said I needed to replace brake shoes, brake discs, and even the calipers. I went to Cherry Grove automotive and I only needed a standard break job. They are fair in their pricing and bend over backwards to help you get your car repaired in the most affordable way.I work for a large four diamond resort and when I have guests that have automotive problems I always send them to Cherry Grove automotive, and every one of them have come back and thanked me for sending them there.

Had a friends car break down on Wednesday 8/15/18 around 7 pm took car to Cherry Grove Automotive the next morning the staff was very helpful in getting the car in the service bay. The air conditioning compressor clutch broke causing the compressor hose to rupture numerous other items failed as well the machanic worked nonstop through out the day knowing that my friend was leaving to go home . The machanic worked 1.5 hours past closing to complete the job . I highly recommend this company if your in the area stop by and check them out .

Went in for an oil change. They give AAA discount. They dont try to sell you what you dont need.

Theyll totally steal from you in this place. They repair something and then mess with something else so you keep going there endlessly. I have caught them doing something to the check engine light several times but wed go back immediately to show them and theyd claim someone forgot to plug something and thats why the light was on.Unfortunately they did this to my mother in law and she didnt take the car back as soon as the light turned on and they charged her hundreds to repair something THEY did in the first place. Now after paying all those hundreds, the check engine light is back on again. Now were forced to look for another repair shop because were tired of the lies and rip offs. They WILL take advantage of you, specially of the elderly. They have no mercy in this place.
