The two young men who moved us were absolutely fantastic!! Took only 2 1/2 hrs to load. Four hour trip. 5 hours to unload as they had to take an elevator to 4th floor and then go to other side of building. I would highly recommend this business to any person contemplating a move. I, by the way, their pricing structure is very fair and reasonable.😁

We live in the northeast and have relied on these guys on three different occasions to move our daughter out of her apartment and into storage for the summer. Theyre service has been flawless from the initial phone call to the actual move and storage of her furniture and clothing. They first forgot us which left me not being able to be there when they worked us back in and then they were late. I can truly get past all of that because we all make mistakes but then they ran the clock up sitting in their tuck and making a “plan”. We paid over $1000 to have our furniture moved 5 minutes up the road and dumped in ohr living room. They drug our mattresses across rhe yard. When my husband called rhe owner said they gave us excellent customer service and the week day rate even though we moved on sat! We moved on saturday because they forgot us! NEVER USING THEM AGAIN! WE NEED ANOTHER OPTION IN TOWN & I AM GOING TO GIVE IT SOME SERIOUS THOUGHT!

Lets start with the good. The initial person I spoke with over the phone was great. When I made a follow-up call closer to my move, I learned that person put in their notice. Onto the rest of the review:There is clearly no communication at the office. After my call to the office to confirm final details the day before the move, I was called an hour later for the exact same information. When I explained I just called, I was told there was no record of it, and I needed to give the same information.On the morning of the move, I did receive a call when the movers were on the way; that was appreciated. I did not appreciate being asked for a tip before I even signed the paperwork. I also did not appreciate that a valuable piece of artwork was knocked off my wall with irreparable damage. I can understand that things happen. I could have overlooked this accident. It wasnt that the item was damaged. The issue I have is that the item was damaged and none of the three movers notified me. The new, deep scratch in my wood floor that resulted from the move added insult to injury.Before leaving my old home and heading to the new place, I let the movers know I needed to sign final paperwork at the office before I would have the keys, and I would be a few minutes behind them. The movers confirmed understanding. Although you wouldnt think so when they called me, rudely asked where I was, and got irritated when I offered to meet them outside the office (less than 100 yards away) so they could grab the keys if they did not want to wait the additional 3 minutes I needed to be in the office. Before I could get offer that, I was hung up on by the movers. This wasnt the last time I would be hung up on during the move. When we reunited, less than 3 minutes later, they acted as though nothing had happened.Moving the furniture in went fairly well; they did a nice job of asking where items go (even though each box was labeled well). They were open about asking where in the room the heavier items were place; that was so helpful. It was disappointing that an antique dresser drawer was broken, a standing lamp was broken, and a grotesque scratch was added (front and center) to one of my nicest, heaviest furniture items.My freestanding lamp was broken; they insisted it wasnt and proceeded to place it strategically against the wall. It was no longer a freestanding lamp after this move.One of the three items from my office was missing; they insisted they brought it and recalled talking about it at the old place. They said it must be in the truck; theyd check as soon as I signed the final paperwork; after the final paperwork was done, they didnt check; but they did leave; when I called, they picked up only to immediately hang up without speaking. I called the office. They said theyd check the truck as it was due back in a few moments. I did get a call shortly after, but it was to tell me my card was declined. They verified numbers were transposed. Not only that, I was undercharged; I explained the movers just told me they actually finished sooner than they expected so my price was lower than I was quoted; the office refused to honor that. When I asked about the missing items, surprise! They had no record of that; but they were more than happy to overcharge me and pretend theyd call when they checked the truck. I never got a return call.I called again; again was told they have no record of the missing item. The next day, I called again; same story, but I was asked about my experience. When I described it, the office staffs response was Well, I hope you wont leave us a bad review. Whats more, I got *another* call hours later; again asking for a review; that person was more empathetic, but offered no resolution and again stated there was no record of my missing items.Bottom line: If youre desperate, use them. If you know college kids looking to earn a few bucks, the college kids are the better option-- by far. The college kids will likely communicate far better than Two Mens office staff.

Another great job by our Tuscaloosa Two Men and a Truck. One of the few companies with which Ive always had a good experience. Their prices are reasonable. They show up on time. The guys are professional. They work at a steady and acceptable speed. And they know how to do their job. What else can you ask? And for always being such young guys - this is even more amazing. They are like the Chick-Fil-A of what they do. LOL

We hired two men and a truck to move my 70 year old mothers home. They were polite, respectful, great to communicate and so careful with all of her things. I couldnt believe how efficient they were. They moved all of her things in 2 hours. Bruce (one of the movers) sat down with us upfront to explain how everything would go and we couldnt have been more pleased with the way they handled things.

The movers were moving model furniture from one condo unit to another condo unit. They left a few pieces in the old unit without transferring to the new unit. Other than this, the service level was as expected.

As an Air Force family who moves roughly every 3 years, weve used our share of moving companies, but none compare to Two Men and a Truck Tuscaloosa. Tammy in the office provides excellent customer service, and she was always quick to respond when emailing or calling. She made the moving set-up so easy, and she worked hard to pull the move together. Ken and his team of packers/movers were professional, efficient, polite, and provided excellent service. All 4 men worked diligently to get our family moved to our next base, and we are so grateful to them for making this move during a pandemic as smooth as possible. We needed furniture moved from the house to the garage. Wood floors were to be refinished and other rooms were to have new carpet. At 74 and 75 we were not up to moving the furniture which included some heavy pieces. Daniel, Shaun, and Hunter arrived with the needed equipment and energy. We needed to move 4 offices worth of furniture to another location and we could not have picked a better company to work with. On the day we were scheduled to move, severe thunderstorms moved into our area about the time we slated to begin moving. We got a call from the company letting us know that we would delay for 30 minutes to let the storms pass to protect our furniture and safety. This was really appreciated.When the crew arrived, they went straight to work. They wrapped all items with doors and drawers, disassembled the desks, and moved the items through some tight doors without a bump. Their moving skills were only exceeded by their professional and very friendly conduct during the entire move. It was like having good friends come and help you move. Thomas was amazing at not only directing the crew but keeping our entire group happy and amazed at the work and the amazing positive attitude the crew had.This is our third time using 2 Men and a Truck for both business and home moves and we would never call anyone else!

Paid these professionals $800 to move our things to a new house. They only wrapped one piece of furniture. The rest of our furniture has scratches all over it now. The mover kept telling his coworker how strong he was while lifting our mattress over his head and broke our new ceiling fan. Scuffed up the walls, some items came up missing. Just not a pleasent move at all. If i could do it over again we would have just moved everything ourselves but with my wife being pregnant and not having any help we chose these guys to help us out. We 100% made the wrong choice. Be careful calling this company.

My tv was working before it went on the truck and now its not. I called to make a claim but Austin never called me back. I called again and he proceeded to argue with me about how it wasnt their fault. Now a gift from my husband is broken. I paid these people 480$ for this move and I didnt even get an apology. I was told because I didnt see them drop it there was nothing they could do, I had to leave to open the door at the final destination. Please use someone else this company is garbage and unprofessional. I will NEVER use them again.

I had to move in a hospital bed that got ordered about 9:15 on Friday morning. However to get the bed in, I had to take my moms bed out. I called Two Men and a Truck about 9:30 and they were at my house about 11:30 (after finishing another job). They were not only wonderful to be that timely, but they did an excellent job. This is the fourth time we have used them and they will be my go-to from now on for any size job! Great to work with!

Everything was excellent. The team arrived right on time after giving me a call 20 minutes beforehand. Last week my 88 y.o. Mom was in a pickle. She had packed up all of her household goods, approx 3000# on a planned move to an independent living location 60 miles away last Friday The United Van Line company from Tupelo MS had been scheduled for weeks for an 0800 pickup and delivery to her new home. At 0830 Williams Moving and Storage called and said they didn’t have a driver and offered to come the next day., right........yep, believe it. Well, they suck.Because of the upcoming events, estate sale and house closing it was paramount to move on Friday. I called several moving companies and no one was available to move same day. On a whim, I called 2 men and a Truck in Northport - 2 hours driving time away and spoke to Allie. Wow, she was a rock in the storm. She quickly engaged, sent me an inventory form and got the ball rolling. At 0930, 1 hour since the other outfit ( No men and No Truck) cancelled we had signed the contract and had a tentative arrival time and promise that 2 Men and a Truck would be there around 230p. At 1215, Allie called with an update and eta. Promptly at 230 p, Dylan and Will arrived. Very polite and focused, they didn’t waste anytime.Being in the Navy for 30 years and countless moves both CONUS and out of CONUS, I have never see two guys work so hard and fast and with attention to detail in meticulously packing every item- all while smiling. . 3.5 hours later they closed the door on the truck and drove an hour and began the offload.It wasn’t easy and far from a door to door offload. There were geographical obstacles that had to be overcome. At 1015p, they had to stop and return to base, but they offloaded everything except stuff going to a nearby storage facility.The next morning, they drove 60 miles from Northport to Columbus Ms and finished the job. Dylan and Will never slowed down. Every item arrived safely.From top to bottom, I was very impressed and thankful that Allie, Dylan and Will from Northport 2 Men and a Truck saved the day. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend them. They move with a purpose and with a sharp eye for detail.Job Well Done...Jt

The two fellows who came in from Two Men and a Truck had a difficult job ahead of them. We had an awful lot of boxes and quite a bit of furniture, but they got the task on immediately, work straight through for several hours and did an excellent job.Phillip and JD were very polite and very businesslike. My move was on April 11, 2020 with the Northport Two Men and A Truck location. I sent in my initial feedback to Two Men and a Truck on April 15, 2020. I spoke by phone with the Northport office to follow up with my feedback on my issues with my move and I was told resolution of my negative experience were handled internally with the movers who worked your move.It is now April 25, 2020 and there has been no resolution whatsoever, As such, I am posting this review and would advise caution to anyone seeking to use this location’s movers for your next move.This was my third time using Two Men and A Truck, and my second time using the Northport location. I have had a pleasant experience using Two Men the first two moves, which is why I decided to use them again for this third move (4/11/2020). While the front end of this experience – the administrative portion, provided decent customer service, the back end of the actual movers did not. I have listed several issues below that I requested Two Men and A Truck to consider and provide some sort of response that would be appropriately compensating for the issues addressed. I will have an additional move scheduled during the early to mid-summer and I will not be using ANY location of Two Men and A Truck for this next move.ISSUE 1: I instructed both movers, that when they were moving furniture from the second floor to the first floor, I had two cats locked in the upstairs bathroom.I instructed them that when they were ready, I would move the cats to a different area so they would not escape out the front door that was open. Neither mover listened and they opened the door with the cats still in the bathroom.ISSUE 2: There was extra space left in the back of the truck. I had a total of about 8 large plants that were not transported and the ramp was removed before I could load them myself. This was very disappointing as this move cost me $1,130 and I made TWO return trips to pick up the remaining items that were not allowed onto the truck.ISSUE 3: The mover that handled all the initial paperwork did not share any directives i gave to the other mover. The movers started stacking furniture without blankets and put a wire kennel on top on a wood side table and scratched the tabletop. The movers had a stack of moving blankets, neatly folded in the truck.ISSUE 4: I instructed both movers that I had a written document that explained where the furniture pieces would go (to each assigned room) and then all boxes were to be put in the living room on the main floor. This was to make the unloading go quicker. They ignored this. I also told the movers to move the truck to the back so it would be easy to unload certain items into the basement. The one mover said no because it would be too difficult to move the truck in and out – this is not true, as large garbage trucks come through the back area once a week. They proceed to use a dolly and move all the items that were going to the basement, through the yard of my neighbor.

The two men where very efficient and courteous while doing their job. The move felt timely but not rushed. They took care of our things and I have not one complaint. Will definitely use this service again when the time comes.

Even though they was slow to get to my apartment and the clock started sooner than what was quoted and my card got charged over $112 more than what I was quoted because the movers got lost and it took them over 30 minutes to part the truck, I was still happy.Even after they told me at the end and showed me what they broke, I was still cool with it because it was hot, and they worked hard and I shouldnt of had to touch anything. Even though I did because I noticed that the time clock from what I was quoted was winding down. Got overcharged but whatever.I still wasnt mad until I reached their damage department. I was judged immediately like I was looking for financial reimbursement, but I just wanted my things replaced. Long story short, the damage dept. manager, Garrett, must wasnt used to getting those type of offers. I agreed to take even less expensive items I found that I liked that amounted to be about $115 w/o tax than the $200 plus worth of merchandise they damaged. He claimed he ran that by his boss and couldnt get the amount approved but he could do was get you a check in the mail right now for $75. Ridiculous! I asked for him to get me in contact with his boss. He didnt even acknowledge that. See results belowHis reasoning was he claimed he could find my exact items and brands online for cheaper. I told him that was fine, just to send me the links so I can verify that it was correct things that I had. That must have been startling to him. He never did and a day later he said my stuff will arrive. Nothing but 1 item is what I truly had. The others were cheap knock offs.So the moral of the story is he thought I was hungry for money, had me waste my time sending him links of what I actually had. Then after that he saw I didnt want the money, he went to asking for receipts or proof of purchase that I could of produced for all but one item. He was amazed that the check in mail right now for $75 didnt work. Ive been in the car business 10 years and that was the oldest trick in the book lol

I had an excellent experience with Two Men and a Truck. Blake was very accommodating with my scheduling needs. My Two Men, Wilson and a great guy whose name I didnt catch, were prompt, quite knowledgeable and took great care with moving my furniture. Upon arrival at my storage unit the unit appeared smaller than the one I had originally seen. They said theyd get it all in and they did! The move was completed within the two hour minimum as I had hoped! I will definitely use them again, especially if I can request the same crew!

I have used Two Men and A Truck since my daughter was a sophomore. These guys moved her and a friend every summer into a house, to storage, into their Sorority house, to storage, into her apartment in Graduate School, storage and then this past October to Nashville to start her job. Each time they were fast and efficient. The trip to Nashville was unbelievably fast and they unloaded, assembled and were done so quick. I know Christian booked one of the moves, but I have to say over the 4 years, everyone that I talked to was very pleasant and never messed up anything. So thank you guys very much and honestly since I lived ten hours away, I always felt comfortable when I couldn’t be there. Two men and a truck did a fantastic job moving me across town. Parking at my new place is very difficult, but they found the best way to carry out the move. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing a hand moving.

I have used Two Men & a truck for a while now, the reason behind it is because it’s very very easy. The movers always are happy and willing to help out, even though sometimes they are moving very very heavy pieces - they are always happy and great to work with!I can’t stand moving, but with Two Men & a Truck I don’t mind it at all because I know they will be doing the heavy lifting and making it easy for me. I will never use a different moving company. I have used them over 10+ times and every time it was SUPER EASY! Customer for Two Men & a Truck for Life!!!!Great people, great company, & great prices!

My sister recently moved to Tuscaloosa and used Two Men. She asked me for help on the payment and I agreed to pay half (or $450 of $896). I called up Two Men and gave them my credit card information and instructed them to only charge $450 of the balance. They agreed and said they would run the card later that afternoon. I was told the conversation was recorded.A few days after the move I noticed my card had been charged the entire amount of $896. As such, I called up Garret to inquire about the error in payment. He told me, to my surprise, my sister had called and instructed him to run the entire payment on the card. As this was not true and not the agreement I made with Two Men earlier in the day, I wondered why they took the word of someone over the phone without consulting me for consent or verifying the new information.I asked Garret to please refund my card and he told me cannot until he gets payment from my sister for the full amount. While I understand Two Men has a business to run, I was being penalized for Two Mens error. As I never agreed to pay the full amount, I do not feel it was my responsibility to carry the burden of enforcing payment rules.I asked Garrett to do what was fair and right by the agreement we made. He responded with, we have our money and its your sister. Again, I was quite surprised by this. Two Mens integrity statement reads, To always conduct oneself with honesty and fairness and to treat everyone the way you would want your Grandma to be treated. I do not feel I was treated fairly nor how I would treat my grandmother if she had been mistakenly charged more than had been agreed.I requested my card be refunded and only be charged the agreed-upon $450. This has not been done. I do not mind mistakes being made and I understand people have to make quick judgments every day. I do not fault anyone for that. But when a mistake is brought to light, I appreciate reconciliation and customer service while being treated fairly and courteously.I will not use Two Men in the future and I would suggest others find a different service that offers integrity and respect for consumers.

Local move, we had two movers, Josh & Adam, and they were both very professional and conscientious of the job they were doing to include their awareness of preserving and protecting the furniture, walls, floors, etc... Buzz and Tyler were very helpful. My suggestion is that the company provides back braces for all the workers to prevent future back problems as most of the movers are young men. The company should also provides better lifting equipment to move heavy objects up a flight of stairs and bigger trolley to put more things on to keep from making more trips to and from the truck.

Zach and Nick completed my move last weekend and they did a fantastic job. They were efficient, friendly, and helpful in moving my things. I would recommend them to anyone moving and thought two men and truck was easy to contact and great to work with!

Guys did a good job for what we hired them for. It was pouring rain but the still moved all the belongings into our new house quickly.There was damage to the washer and dryer unit however the quickly sent over a technician to correct the problem and made it no hassle what so ever.Very likely to use them again because of their willingness to correct the problem in a speedy fashion.

I have used Two Men & A Truck several times to move my college-aged daughter from her homes at the beginning and end of the school year. I have been nothing but completely satisfied with the process from beginning to end. Unreal customer service, well-trained movers & an overall sense of pride in what they do & unbelievable work ethic. I would love to know how they interview & hire their movers bc their formula works!! I couldnt do it without them!!

Our move required 4 men and 2 trucks and they were all on time, careful, polite, and quick. They would run back to the house to get the next load. We would recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone!
