I was on vacation 3 hours from my home and diesel Colorado broke down 6 miles from Firelands dealership. I called immediately to get towed to their dealership that evening. The service department was very helpful and polite to me. Gave me great instructions on what to do when I got there due to it was going to be after hours. The next day I recieved a phone call that they had looked at my truck and diagnosed issue. But with covid, getting parts was an issue. They provided me a loaner vehicle so I could go home and use until my truck was fixed. The service department kept me informed with all progress!! I could not have asked for any better service! I appreciated everything they did for me while my truck was getting fixed. If I could give a rating of a 10 I would. Absolutely impressed and satisified!! Thank you so much!!!

From the moment you are greeted at the door (door opened for you every time) to the signing of paperwork to close the deal, the staff at Firelands provides exceptional customer service. With car buying you never know what the experience is going to be like, but with Firelands it is exactly the experience you hoped it would be. Excellent experience purchasing our vehicles from Jack at Firelands. We drove over an hour to see a particular vehicle and it was well worth it. Everyone was very pleasant to work with, kind to our daughter who was with us and did everything they could to work out a great deal for us. We added something on at the last minute (after closing) so the additional paperwork had to be completed next business day. Instead of telling us to come back, they BROUGHT THE PAPERWORK TO US, an hour away! 100% would recommend them to anyone. And we LOVE our new vehicles!

I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my enemy...I was interested in purchasing 2013 chevy 2500 for $36,800. I was told I had to trade my current vehicle in, and if I wasn’t willing to trade it in for price they wanted, they were going to increase the price of the truck by $5k which is extortion and illegal.I don’t like dishonesty, so I asked for my $500 refundable deposit back. The salesman suddenly stopped returning my calls and was no longer interested in talking to me.After calling for the 4th time, to get MY money back, they tried telling me “it may no longer be refundable.” At this point I was extremely upset with the dishonesty and shady business being run so I threatened legal action, and wouldn’t you know, MY money is magically refunded!This dealership is unethical and will take advantage of you.

I had a Nissan that was a lemon and was being repurchased so I was in a rush to find a new car during a time when cars are in short supply. Looking for a new car and requested quote with price and interest rate multiple times. All I was given was payments based on months and told it was an estimate amout with no info on actual price or whate rate they calculated this on. During initial contact although not directly stated i was lead to belive they had exactly what I was looking for in stock and later in conversation found out it had to be ordered. Basically told give us 500 to hold and details will be presentedIf i did not buy some one else would. I will never consider this dealership again.

Overall: be very picky when choosing your salesman when dealing with this dealership - get a veteran that knows what they’re doing and your experience will be fine. The service dept is fantastic, financing was educational, and Sean was great with resolving the issues noted below.The service department did great, but it took 2 months to get my backup key fob for my new car. The dealership lost the original back up, salesman lost the second backup, so finally after waiting 2 weeks after being told it would “be here this week”, I called in to the parts dept to see if it was at the dealership yet - it was. The Salesman had told me he would personally drive the 3rd backup key fob to my house that’s 30 minutes from the dealership, however, that offer was empty because 1) they never called when my key was delivered to the dealership 2) my car needed to be at the dealership to be synced to the fob. All around, the salesman was sloppy and very unorganized, and I am VERY glad that this process is finally over, 2 months later. All of this, in addition to the car not being detailed prior to pickup, dealership wanting me to bring the vehicle BACK a few days after purchase for an oil change to make it “new” (had less than 3,000 miles on it), and the salesman losing, then finding, my supporting documentation for the purchase 1 month after the purchase was finalized and car driven off the lot.
