Norwalk store the guys are awesome very polite, no problem explaining, I really recommend this store

My son and I went to Retro Games Plus in search of Skylander figurines. When we parked our car and saw the size of the store, we werent confident they would have what we needed. Boy, we were wrong. Once inside, not only did they have a profuse selection of Skylanders, the store was a cornucopia of ALL things video game related. Every square inch of this store contained something. Furthermore, the staff were helpful and friendly. It is worth a visit.

They arent lying when advertising about paying the most cash or store credit for trade-ins! Got much higher value here compared to Gamestop and other sellers online. The staff is highly knowledgeable and obvious game enthusiasts. Its sad to sell some childhood nostalgia but I know my games are in good hands with Retro Games Plus.

Place was awesome. Lots of great memories wrapped in a small store. Prices were reasonable and they actually had what I was looking for (guitar hero guitar - not carried by GameStop). Overall a great success. Was fun taking my 7 yr old there and sharing some of my childhood memories with her.

When I walked into this store for the 1st time, I was simply amazed from the loads of retro games they had! Not only is it the only retro games place I know of, its trustworthy! If your game or console doesnt work, theyll fix it. The prices are great too, for a store that targets the audience of retro game collectors or nostalgic people, it gives them a chance to not spend a fortune on older games. Anyone who had these kind of consoles when theyre younger or just want to play some of the best games ever made, GO HERE!!!!!

Pretty neat store. They dont have a great selection of old popular games as theyve been picked through. They do, however, have a good selection of systems. The store is well organized and clean.

Every experience I have at Retro Gaming is a good one, from the employees to the selection of new and classic games. I cant walk into this place without wanting to leave with every game! I definitely prefer coming here over Game Stop. Im not bashing Game Stop, just prefer the experience over all. I will continue to support this business and get the word out to hopefully see them expand and open more locations!

Went in yesterday for a trade in. The experience was so good that I definitely will come back even though it’s almost an hour away from where I live. I pass countless GameStop’s on the way here and will continue to do so. They have retro systems, games collectibles and collectors editions. The prices are more than fair. They even have a few full game stations set up. And they don’t hassle you about how long you are on the system. I have only been to the Norwalk CT location but I’m sure the other stores are great as well.

Classic games, classic feel. The store brings me back to a lot of the things I grew up with. G.I. Joe action figures, Ninja Turtles and 8 bit video games. There are always new things that come into the store and catch my eye. I would recommend to anyone that enjoys retro things, anything from the 80s and early 90s. 5 star, must visit.

Definitely the best or one of the best video game stores i have been to in fairfield county, they are extremely helpful. they answer all questions and have a lot of knowledge on current and classic consoles and video games. they have a wide variety of video games and occasionally have those hard to find and rare video games. Love these stores, I go to the one in Norwalk and Orange. The fact you can get older games at an inexpensive price is awesome. When modern gaming gets pricey try some older hits. I only hope they expand cant wait to pick up an original nintendo.BTW, never saw dusty games in either of the stores and the parking in Norwalk while a little tight is perfectly adequate for your average vehicle. I guess some people drive M4 Shermans.

Absolutely amazing store, had an incredible experience here. Brendan in the norwalk store (although i believe he works in orange as well) was crazy helpful, super nice, and very knowledgable about all of their products. The other employees (ones name was Wes) i talked to on the phone were very friendly and helpful as well.

Great store! Selection is incredible and staff is friendly. Stopped in both Milford and Norwalk locations on a trip to CT and was blown away. If you like games from the 1970s to the early 2000s, youll freak out here.

Their GB/GBC/GBA selection is pretty good but if youre looking for NES/SNES cartridges, the Orange location has a better selection. Overall, pretty decent gaming store.

Any and every true gamer owes it to themself to visit Retro Games if for no other reason than for the nostalgia. I grew up with most of the old consoles and games they have (the Atari 2600 is a few years older than me). Its almost like a video game museum where you can actually bring home the exhibits.

The employees here are really friendly and are fun to talk to. They have a great selection of classic video games and consoles from the days of NES, Sega, and Atari as well as the games from the Xbox and Playstation generations. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable. I recommend RGP to gamers and any collector of retro game merchandise.

Just went to their westport store, and bought a Super Famicom and some other games... overall the experience was great, and they have every game you can imagine... even Little Samson on the NES!! The guys runnig this place defenetly know what they are doing and were super friendly. I cant thank them enough for hooking me up with some awesome games and a famicom on the cheap! Will be going back soon, and lots more in the future!!!
