Pretty good store, although the parking is definitely not good. And some people should just not be driving. But thats not the stores fault its the idiot drivers lol You can find everything you need here.

I Google the nearest grocery store to me as I was unfamiliar with the area. And man did I luck out. Not only did I get the mayo I needed, I bought everything to make carnitas from scratch for next to nothing!I didnt realize it was a mexican/Latino market before I want in.Clean, inexpensive...and fun!

Great place to buy international foods. The feel and look is like being in a small island supermarket. Workers are very friendly.

If you are looking for food from Central and South America this is the store for you.Its like a big bodega. The aisles are very narrow. Theres a small fruit and vegetables section. You can count on bananas and yucca. But thats about it for that department. The fruits and vegetables are rarely fresh. There doesnt seem to be sales or coupons. Theres a meat counter in the back of the store for fresh meats but it doesnt look very fresh. Perhaps if I was Latino or Hispanic Id get the vibe of the store better. Maybe Id appreciate the types of food and goods that they sell. Most items are from Central & South America and the packaging is in Spanish. Most people speak Spanish but not very much English. I basically go to this store if I need a small item like milk or tea or cookies. Its also more expensive than other supermarkets.There is a parking lot but its very small and congested. Car accidents frequently occur.No bathroom. No special consideration for wheelchairs.

I love this place. It hits a niche and carries some exotic fruits and vegetables you wont see at Whole Foods. The avocados are ripe and the guacamole you make comes out delicious.

An amazing selection of food and products, especially that of the Hispanic kind. Especially great if you live in the area and dont feel like commuting to farther, bigger grocery stores. They have pretty much everything!

My go to market, produce always fresh. Meat dept always fast. Cashiers always beautiful and faster than the meat dept.

I totally give it 5 stars! City Market has fresh produce, actual butchers in the shop and a wide variety of Latin and organic food!The service is amazing. The employees go above and beyond to make the customers happy.Another plus is the fact that you can order online and forget about wasting time doing the groceries yourself. This place has excedeed my expectactions!

A wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can find just about anything a major grocery store has in this clean and friendly market.

Its a decent place to buy grocery, but guys they chart 10 cents for plastic bags, since I didnt know this, I had to bring all my groceries by hand, how miserable can you be so you do this kind of things? Never buying my groceries here again just because of that.

The guy at the meat counter was really attentive, he greeted me and asked me how I want my goat cut. Very nice man, super polite.

Awesome place. Cheap, interesting and sometimes even fun. I go for crema, queso fresco and other authentic Latino items. Little cafe behind it is good too. Same parking lot.

They have the worst employees... im writing this review from my car I’m in front of the store. Like wow I’m just in shock... I just don’t even understand why I keep coming to this garbage of store. Like it’s their job to put the things in the bags not mine.

The only place I can find my Burro bananas in Norwalk. Now only if they would carry my King Oyester Trumpet mushrooms my vegan list would be complete!!!

Maybe little over priced for most products, but the experience is good enough, so if you are OK with the prices, this Key-food is great. Large parking lot, clean and well maintained. Good local solution.

Excelentes Prices?

I believe they need to work on keeping that parking lot clean and less crowded with all those delivery trucks. Their garbage pile is always overflowing. They do carry a variety of latin american products, but the store itself must be updated and clean well. The meat department is so stinky that I believe the health department must take note. I stop shopping here since they dont care to fix this place. I wish there was no star to grade them!

There isnt a huge selection of items here, but they have just enough to be worthwhile to visit. Its no supermarket like Shoprite, but it tends to get the job done for most grocery needs. If youre looking for Hispanic brands or styles of groceries, this place will definitely have what youre looking for.

Nearly NO NATIONAL BRANDS.Key food bought the location a few years ago dropped some Key Foods canned goods & never looked back.No selection of dry goods or cleaning products or staples of any sort. Paper products & household cleaning products - nothing but off brands.If its not an Hispanic food theres one choice no matter what the food. One brand one size dairy, no cheeses,No variety of milk products but for a few packages of Kraft junk cheese theres none but every brand of Mexican & Spanish, Salvadoran, Puerto Rican cheese (Arent the Latin Americans known for their fine & wide variety of cheeses? Right) Everything South American. No Italian - Asian - English - Irish - French - German brands.Only low ticket nat. brands & 1 of each of those in usually smallest most expensive size.Produce dept again mostly Latino fruits & vegetables, All Latino snack foods, soft drinks really every food type they carry 5 or more brands. You could fill one of their little carts with one Spanish food item for all the brands. Any other nations food? Forget it.Come holidays being half Puerto Rican a quarter Italian & French respectively I could only feed one side of my family IF my wife let me spend any of our money here. (This is an area of all ethnicities but only Latin Americans are catered to & Im half Latino I see the rare Gringo who mistakenly wanders in is looked at like he or she doesnt belong the staff ignores them or badmouths them in Spanish)**Butcher Dept FILTHY, not a single experienced butcher on the premises, things in the messy, unkempt meat-cases full of piled up poultry that doesnt even look edible, steaks & chops are all cut 1/4 inch THIN, blood always pooling in the bottom (blood of what who knows)My 9 yr old kid can butcher a cow better than these guys. perhaps because except for winter their obviously too distracted swatting flies. In winter if you hang around long enough youll see the guys behind the counter coughing over the meat grinder and the scales that never get cleaned (seems no one in the butcher Dept or the angry deli counter attendant can manage to get the product on the butcher paper because it usually ends up half on half off) . Besides the deli had less than a quarter of the deli meats youd find in any national supermarket.No bakery not even a bakery aisle just a dirty bin with a few always stale rolls & literally a cpl of plain stale bagels.The only seafood here is prepackaged & unrecognizable but to people like my family who fish - *it all looks like bait...BUT AT HIGHER PRICES THAN TRADER JOES. NO DELI - just a short counter with a 1/4 of the variety of deli meats youd find in the average small supermarket (*NOTE you would not call this a Supermarket, All aisles are exactly 1 foot wider than the extra small carts & if you need to get past an employee in the aisle youll wait - unless you speak Spanish - Ive tested them as this is my business.The entire store is a pig sty. I have been complaining to the board of health about this store for 9 years. Still theres loose produce and dried fish on floor in baskets with piled up sweeping, looking as though it all is slapped with a dirty mop on the rare annual floor mopping.Key Food should have fired the entire staff especially the manager whos always hiding and IF YOU CAN CATCH HIS EYE he pretends he didnt see you. What is he? A fugitive from the law?The store needs a gut job & the parking lot is needs to be bulldozed.**The only good thing about this store is that my kids dont want to tag along if I say Im coming hereKEY FOODS WAKE UP! This town is changing for the better. This location is surrounded by upscale high rises & condos.

This store has a wide variety of ethnic foods and ingredients to make authentic Caribbean and Latin foods. Plus, when your done shopping and youre hungry, you can eat at the Dominican restaurant thats on the same property owned by the same people from City Market. The Dominican food is like food from the heavens. Yum!
