Excellent service! My wifes Verizon S4 tablet kept shutting down while powering up. I took it to a Verizon store and was told they couldnt fix it...Then they tried to sell me a replacement tablet for $500. When I balked, they referred me to a repair shop that told me they didnt have access to parts for that model. My wife suggested I try CPR (should have listened to her in the first place). They immediately diagnosed it as a software issue and had it back to me within a couple days for less than $70! Job well done!

Unfortunately took my Ps4 and cell phone to be repaired here. They did not have the know how to fix my Ps4s hard drive issues. They also did a shotty job on my cell phone screen repair. Waste of money and it was annoying having to go back multiple times.

I rarely ever write reviews but I felt compelled to after the terrific service that I received from CPR Novi.Long story short: the USB charging port on my moms android phone (Moto G5 Plus) broke and her phone didnt have wireless charging so once her battery died the contents of her phone (primarily important text messages) were inaccessible. The phone is older and doesnt have the best repairability so several repair shops told me that the charging port could not be fixed. My mom was in tears.The miracle workers at CPR Novi were able to source a different USB charging port and solder it into the existing phone for a very reasonable price. Now we can power on the phone and complete the transfer of her text messages to her new phone. My mom is again in tears, but this time for a good reason.

Only one person was working and he was very nice and took care of my phone no problem! He examined it and then made sure the parts were here before anything else. I was filing a claim with my screen protector since the screen itself broke and certain things needed to be in the receipt. He filled it all out no problem and didn’t seem annoyed in any way!

IPhone 8 cracked screen. When I got there wasnt anyone there so I got serviced right away. Process was super quick and painless. Whole thing took roughly 45 minutes and I walked out with a great looking screen at a sweet price.

I went here to have my iPhone repaired. Over the phone they told me approximately an hour to repair when I arrived and dropped off the phone it was ready for pick up in 20 min exactly. The cost was very reasonable the service was fast and efficient Nick was awesome!

What a great business. i was having problems charging my iphone 6s and thought that i would have to buy a new phone. i stopped at CPR to have them take a look at it. after a quick look i was advised that my charging port was not broken, instead she told me that what was wrong was the port had enough stuff in it to stop the lightning cable from going in all the way. she then took it into the back, cleaned it out for me and didnt charge me anything!wow, how cool of them to do that. i would highly recommend them if you are in need of phone repair. their honesty and helpfulness was really refreshing. i wouldnt hesitate to go back again if i need a repair. thanks again for your help.

Overall awesome service! Cheaper price than a nearby competitor, very knowledgeable staff that understands your concerns, and a nice interior. One of the best service shops in general that I’ve ever been to! Definitely recommend if you have any phone issues.

I cracked my glass cover over my camera on my Galaxy 9 plus. I came to CPR, in Novi, I live in Canton, I was so pleased with the results I got. They replaced my glass cover on my camera. And the lady who greeted me when I walked in was very nice and I truly appreciate the customer service I received, she even recommend a place for me to get a bite to eat while they repaired my phone camera cover and she recommended the Bundt cake bakery next door. I just want to say thank you for the great customer service. I was very pleased with the cost to replace my camera cover.

While visiting Michigan, my phones screen had been shattered. Upon arriving to CPR, I was greeted quickly and professionally. My phone screen was replaced quickly (about an hour), efficiently, and a well done job for a little over $100 (beats buying a new phone!). They even checked my battery health, called to inform me that my battery was bad and offered to change it for 50% off.I would give a 5 star rating; however, I realized after I reactivated my pass code a few days later that my touch ID no longer worked. Upon researching this issue, I learned that this is a common issue with screen repairs and wonder why CPR doesnt know about it, and/or let customers know this can happen and give the option for it to be remedied. Unfortunately, I realized this problem too late and had already traveled out of Michigan. I got the cheaper warranty and am unsure if this issues is covered or not, or whether I can bring it back to have it fixed the next time I am in town.Overall, they did a great job and would recommend them for a quick good job.

My iPhone had a bad port and the battery was stuck in a boot loop. I went to have it repaired at CPR in Novi. I could not have been happier!!!!!! They quickly replaced my battery, my port and added a screen protector at no cost! The employee Jeanette was extremely helpful and friendly! What a great experience. Jeanette was so friendly and knowledgeable. She got my iPad screen replaced by the next day even though they were super busy. She also found me a used cover that swiveled both vertical and horizontal which is hard to find. It broke right away (expected since it was used, but to my surprise promised to find me another one, no charge). Now that is superb service. I recommend CPR for sure.

Excellent service and the best price. I shattered my iPhone 6 screen and was having issues with the battery port not connecting well with the charging cable. They had the correct parts onsite, had the screen replaced in less than one hour, and discovered and fixed, for no charge, that the only problem with my charging port was a tiny bit of lint was caught up inside keeping the cable from connecting correctly. Ill be back there again whenever the next problem occurs with any of my devices!

Cheap after market replacement got my iphone 7 screen fixed and literally dropped it on carpet and the lcd broke do not recommend

Two great experiences! This summer while working in the yard my cell phone rang and as I pulled it out of my pocket it fell and hit a hard object that caused a tiny chip in the outer frame of the phone and the frame was bent sideways. I took it to CPR repair and showed it to the salesman. He took it in the back for a few minutes and the frame was healed and I was able to use it for another 6 months. At that time the phone fell off a desk and hit carpeting which causes a crack to start from the little chip area.Took it back to CPR and the same salesman was very helpful giving me options and explaining what would work. The Android phone was 4 years old and we decided to replace it instead of fixing. Both experiences were wonderful and I have only waited this long to write because I was not on Face Book and had a Google account. Would never hesitate to refer to this shop.

I was there last night (Monday, 10/21) around 6 or 7. The woman at the counter was very helpful. You dont carry the battery I needed for my cell phone, so she offered to order the battery. Since I needed one soon, she referred me to another place where I could buy one right away. She warned me about the danger of my lithium ion battery combusting. I had my Pixel XL repaired here. Their rates were very affordable, and their initial quote was completely accurate. Unfortunately, during the repair my phones screen was broken. They not only over-nighted a replacement screen (which they installed quickly the next day, and which works perfectly), but they also put my sim card in a replacement phone that they gave me overnight so that I wouldnt have to go without a phone in the meantime.I would definitely go here again, and I highly recommend it.

Not happy at all with the service I received. The screen on my Galaxy S4 mini cell phone went out (it was not dropped, it just failed) and so I took it to CPR for repair. The phone was in like new condition, and so I decided to pay the $190 to replace the screen, thinking it was much too high of a charge, but expecting that my phone would be like new again. When I picked it up, the left edge of the screen was raised about a quarter inch above the bezel, and the main button on the phone is actually recessed below the screen now and is hard to press.The tech told me that the frame may have been bent if it was dropped. I believe the tech broke it when replacing the screen. They did not tell me of the issue when I picked up the phone.For the price they charged, I expected expert service. Now I am out $190, and they broke my phone.I do not recommend that you take anything here. If you do, I recommend that you document the condition of your device before you give it to them, as it is hard to prove what they broke, and they will not deal honestly with you.

We had dropped the phone in water and the speaker would not work. The phone was fixed quickly, and now works again!!! AND, it cost less than the estimate! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely use their services again. Thank you so much!!!

My almost 2 yr old Iphone was becoming more and more difficult to charge. I took it to AT&T where I had purchased the phone with the 2 year contract. After a few minutes of fiddling with the phone, the employee checked and said that I was not eligible for an upgrade, but suggested taking it to CPR which was a couple stores away. He mentioned they could probably fix it cheaper. I stop in, explain my situation and was asked if I keep my phone in my pocket (I do). She informed me that lint can accumulate in the charging port and make charging difficult. She quickly cleaned it out and told me to hang out for a few minutes while she charged it. It worked great! I asked her how much for the fix and she said No charge. I then handed her $10 and said Well here. She again refused payment. In closing, Awesome place!

I sat my phone in the cupholder of my car. Not realizing there was spilled pop in the cupholder where my drink had opened from the bottom. Jeanette “the manager” is completely rude. I brought my device to get serviced and she tried selling me this $50 down scam. I politely told her no. She took my device in and made it worse. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

I shattered my Iphone 6 and when I brought it to CPR in Novi to fix they were able to fix it for $60 and have it fixed with in an hour. Somehow I cut 2 scratches on the top of my phone and I called CPR to ask how much itd cost to fix and the general manager was willing to fix it for just the parts cost. I brought my phone back in and they fixed it again. Great customer service and great prices. Ive recommended CPR to a few people already.

Avoid this place like a plague, rude and unprofessional. Especially the manager. Read other reviews - they all had the same experience. They do not carry a liability insurance (when I asked). Asking this question they told me they will not take my phone? Seriously! Also, they wanted my lock pin just to test the phone for power. They require $45 just to take a look at your phone. The employee was NOT knowledgeable about phones and had zero insight. I recommend a cell phone repair shop on Orchard Lake and 13 mile. They are professional, free estimate, and do not require to leave your phone with your precious PIN just to figure out the battery needs replacement. This CPR place should not be in business.

I had heard great things about this store from my family and friends, and after my visit today, I know why! I just needed a simple plastic iphone screen cover and the wonderful store attendant right away found one, cleaned my phone, and put it on. She didnt even have me pay! What a great place :) Will be going back for sure!

CPR is a cool and helpful cell phone repair site. They give free estimates, but they are a bit overpriced.

It isnt often that you get decent customer service these days, these guys knocked it out of the park. I brought in a PS4 yesterday with HDMI port issues, and these guys called me back within 20 hrs to tell me its ready for pickup. It was much cheaper than Sony quoted and within 1 day is much better than 2 weeks and shipping. These guys were very open about charges and extremely helpful and polite. I will always come back here for my electronic issues! Thanks team!

My iPhone 6s went for a swim in my 5ft deep pool on Saturday. It dropped to the bottom before I could retrieve it. I turned it off and put it in rice for 48 hours (bad idea). As I was about to turn it dawned on me to call CPR Novi and ask if they could check for water damage before I did so. They told me I should bring it in so they could make sure no water was left inside and they would do a full cleaning of the parts (prevent/clean off any corrosion) for only $45!! They were able to get my phone to turn on, but the screen was dead. I had to pay additional for the screen repair, but it was worth it not to have to buy a new phone. Mike was excellent with communication and made the process speedy. I was quoted 48 hours for the cleaning process and Mike called sooner than that and I had my phone fixed, in my hands 24 hours after I dropped it off at CPR. They acted very fast, which is crucial when dealing with a sunken phone. I recommend CPR Novi to anyone who needs water damage repair.

This place is great. I stupidly dropped my Nexus 6 a few months ago (after only having it 2.5 months) and the glass was cracked big time. I had to wait for the part to become available because it was such a new phone but calling back a few months later, the part was available and within a week I was getting my screen fixed. It works great and I forgot how good my phone looked. I mean this in the best way possible, I hope I dont see you guys for a while. Thanks for such a good job!

Came in for a simple phone battery replacement, left with a broken screen. Twice. They tried to pass off a broken screen as fixed product. Couldnt connect to the network, SD card will never work again, screen is still broken. If I didnt say anything about it, they wouldnt have fixed it. Avoid at all costs, not worth the time wasted. Should also mention, the two hour repair took the whole business day to complete.Update. Opened the phone up for myself and saw that all of the screws were missing. Again, avoid at all costs. Phone tech must have been brand new. If I didnt have an upgrade available, Id be showing them the bill.

They overcharge you and provide low quality service. I had to go back twice because they incorrectly replaced my LCD screen.To reply to CPRs comment:Believe it or not, I do not review random stores on google for my own entertainment. I came into your store fall of 2014 to replace the LCD screen on my iPhone.About a week after it was replaced the screen detached from the back of the phone. I also realized that my speaker did not work, which was a problem incurred after bringing it to CPR. I brought in my phone again expressing my problem. The worker said they could fix both problems free of charge, which I was very happy about. Unfortunately, this happiness was short lived.I picked up my phone for the second time and was told my problems were solved. The screen seemed okay but I tested the speaker in the parking lot and guess what, it still did not work. I immediately went back into the store and told the worker. He said they didnt have the part in to fix the speaker at the time, but I could come back in a week to get it repaired. Why lie to me and tell me my phone is fixed when it is clearly not?I left and was going to go back in the next week when my screen detached from the phone again. At this point I had had enough and took my phone into another store that provided me with cheaper prices and better service.I have continuously told friends who have needed phone repairs to not go to CPR because of my experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to ever go to CPR Novi.

So impressed with this store. They do quality work for such a reasonable price. Their staffing is so friendly and will go out of their way to please their customers. Have gone to them numerous times and have never been let down! Shattered my phone and looked brand new within a few days. I also dropped a water balloon on it and was also finished in a timely manner. One thing I really like that they do is if you buy a charger of theirs and break it, they will give you a free one. I managed to get a SIM card stuck in my brand new phone. I first went to Verizon, and when they couldnt get it out, they directed me to CPR. I walked in to a smiling face ready to tackle my problem. I was close to tears and explained what I needed help with. The sales associate took my phone in back and had the stuck SIM card out within 2 minutes. When I asked what I owed, I was told it would be no charge at all. The woman was helpful and come completely calmed me down! I would recommend this business in a heartbeat and know that for any future problems I run into, they will be my go to.

To start off, I actually had an unfinished draft on here with 5 stars when I first got my phone fixed....That being said, Ive just deleted it and am starting over due to how unhappy I am with this place. Reading other reviews, it sounds like im not the only one with a bad experience here. I took my phone in around 06/19/2015. I had emailed them on 06/18/2015, inquiring about the possible reasons my phone wouldnt be charging, and took it in within the next couple days. The charger seemed to continually connect and disconnect, and somehow, after charging all night, my phone was still only at 75%, and I had just bought a new battery and charger thinking that would fix it. They told me it was my charge port and that they would fix it for $19.99 part cost, and $45 labor cost, plus all repairs come with a 6 month warranty (I have original email as proof; its also stated below by another customer review). Well, it seemed to work at first so I started a good review on here, but it gradually started doing the same thing as before and now, (Im writing this on 10/02/2015 but it started getting bad a few weeks ago), my phone wont connect at all. Its literally dead now, and Im stuck looking for a new phone.I emailed them and they responded stating The warranty is 30 days for charge port replacement do to the amount of use they get. They tend to wear out quickly depending on your charging habits. I would be happy to replace it again and as with any of our repeat customers you will receive a $10 discount.ALL OF A SUDDEN, the warranty went from the original quoted 6 months, to 30 days?! After I responded to that, (mentioning that somehow my original charge port lasted over 2 years and the one they put in my phone has lasted less than 4 months, with the same CHARGING HABITS) the next email basically states that because I use my charging port, when my phone needs charged, they have no control over how long it works for...In regards to your charge port, we can only offer a 30 day warranty on all charge ports because they are exposed to constant wear and tear which can cause any charge port (even new) to stop working. We dont have a way to make a charge port impervious to damage nor does anyone. Because of this we dont know how long a charge port will last after the install, most last the rest of the phones life but some do get worn out. Its completely up to how the charge port is treated after the install that determines how long it will last. As for the reason your previous charge port lasted 2 years and this one lasted 2-3 months, each charge port is connected to the main circuit board of your phone. After 2 years of normal use the board itself can sustain damage to where the charge port is connected. This makes attaching a new part more difficult to get a good connection and in some cases its not possible to repair as theres nothing left to attach a new part to. Were sorry for the inconvenience.If it was my circuit board that sustained damage, why was I not made aware of that when they opened up my phone and saw that it was difficult to get a good connection? I cant prove it to you but I take extremely good care of my belongings and have done nothing out of the norm to damage the charge port. In fact, because of it going bad in the first place, Ive been EXTRA careful with it, and yet, in less than 4 months, its not working, and I paid $64.99 for nothing.Im going to end this now because its really long but honestly my advice to you is DO NOT pick a place because they are cheap, youll get what you paid for...
