Ive used Car Fix twice now. First time for a brake job, second time for replacing my fuel pump.Both times they were incredibly fast at getting me fixed up and back on the road, which is extremely important for my work truck.

Polite staff, great service, seemed honest and detailed. Done quickly and back on the road!

I dont recommend this facility period. I voiced my concerns of the possibile issues it was having.I never was offered a document to approve work to a certain $$ amount. The lady service writer decided on her own to run over $150 in tests with no call or have me signed consent to perform work to a certain $$ amount.Beware anywhere you go to understand to be upfront and be assured you understand your financial responsibility of the scope of work your asking for.Ask for a document with it spelled out.$50 oil change, sign it saying you understand oil/filter change. Call me or ask me before doing additional work.Doing an express agreement pretty much gives them a blank check and can result in the shop keeping your vehicle until bill is paid.Be Aware Before You Go In Anyplace For Service.The manager reduced my fee but the vehicle is running ok but their findings do not mesh with the current condition the car is running.

Excellent experience. Staff super nice and the work was completed satisfactory. They seemed honest and detailed. I received a follow up text which was nice. I do have to return because after the tire rotation I think a tire may be out of balance but they said to bring it in to have them look at it. Will be returning. 😁

Woke to a dead Jeep, no work for me. Called the guys that “Fix Anything”, 10 minutes later the tow truck was in my driveway, an hour later my phone was ringing to discuss what was going, 2 hours later a second call to discuss the patient’s diagnosis and 2 hours after that the good news my Jeep was well and ready to come home. Everything fixed, tested and retested; all in one day, I am not used to that kind of customer service when dealing with car (Jeep) repairs. These are my local go-to guys going further. A+++

I had my 2005 Chevy trail blazer in 2 different shops, 3 times told it was fixed, over $800& still broke down a quarter miler from a carfix in oak ridge. My truck started enough the next day on side of road& thought if I could just get it to their business maybe they could help. I was able to have my truck bk within a few days, price was cheap but service was priceless& my truck is fix running beautiful. I’m so grateful!! Thank u guys!!

Lakin and the team at Car Fix are super friendly and helpful. This is the first auto shop I’ve ever used that doesn’t try to “sell” me something every time I come in. They’ve earned my trust and they’re the only place I’ll take my vehicle now! They do great work, at a very reasonable price.

I took my car to these people because my drivers side window would not roll up The other windows did not roll up or down. They looked at my car and said I would need a Master Window Switch and it would cost $508.42 for them to repair it. They charged me $54.99 for labor, just to tell me this, which only took maybe 5 mins. I drove my car home and had my son look at it. He fixed it! It only needed a fuse! I guess because I’m a woman, they knew they could make an extra buck on me. UPDATE. - This morning the General Manager phoned after reading my review. He apologized and said he was sorry that this had happened and would find out what had happened. He said he would immediately mail me a refund for the amount that I had paid. It was very nice of him to take care of this so soon. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.

I had an oil leak. The staff at Car Fix checked and said it could be one of three things. Ended up being an inexpensive$45 fix. They had to replace the oil to fix it and didnt even charge me for an oil change. I was very happy with the service and plan on getting my oil changed with them from now on.

Had water pump replaced, on one visit. Had ac repaired on another visit. Carfix got it completed in the amount of time and price as quoted.Will use them again when needed.Have references associates to them.

Car repairs are the worst! I decided to use car fix because of the positive reviews here, loaner car availability (I knew it would take a few days) and the zero interest financing available and it’s a local owned company. The repair was more extensive than I thought but I don’t feel like anything was unnecessary. It was also much more expensive than I thought because of the added work but much less expensive than a dealer. They also give a warranty on parts and labor. I got my car back today and it drives perfect. The loaner cars offered is really a genius idea - however they are small cars so it can be an adjustment if you aren’t use to that, they also have decals all over them with “car fix” on them, which is even more genius for marketing. I’m not saying I loved driving it, but I respect the idea and appreciate the money saved by not having to get a rental. I would have had to get a rental car for a week if it wasn’t available. Percy is very professional and knowledgeable about the repairs, anytime I called to check in he was able to answer questions about progress without even checking with anyone and even when I picked up my car and asked questions and looked under the hood he knew everything that went on and the mechanic was also there to answer questions about coolant level. I’ll definitely return for any major repairs in the future. Hopefully the far future though.

$300 wasted! Brought my wifes car there due to the check engine light ran a diagnostic at auto zone for FREE unlike Car Fix who charges $100. Camshaft position sensor needed to be replaced. They replaced it and charged $300 and we received no call the car was ready. Had to call the next day and ask if it was fixed. They said yes and after getting back home the check engine light came back(shocker). After calling to report this to them, they told us there are 2 sensors and they were unsure which one to replace. If customer service was what they pride themselves on along with They fix everything then they would have at least called to inform us about it or ask if we wanted both sensors replaced! We wouldve agreed but instead there was no communication. Wife takes the car back down there and the guy at the front desk gets an attitude with my wife so disrespectful. The fact they see a female and think they can get away with more is demeaning and pathetic for a company. The guy agrees to reset the engine light but what is that going to do? Of course the check engine light comes back on and $300 wasted! They claim they called but I told the guy when I paid I never received a phone call or text. Their lack of communication and professionalism is lackluster! Please stay far away from this company and their motto of They fix everything. Zero customer satisfaction along with zero customer service!

They were great and took extra care on my teenage daughters car. I appreciate how quickly they got the job done and how nice everyone was I spoke to. Ill be back for any car needs.

I’ve used Car Fix for various normal maintenance and emergency repairs on several occasions. They work quickly and provide good communications of the things that need to be done now and that should be considered in the future. I appreciate the loaner cars, but the last few times I’ve gone, one has not been available. They are currently expanding their shop, and I’d recommend them as their prices are fair and they take pride in their work.

The shop and office area are clean the people are friendly and professional. They took care of my problem and never tried to up sale me on anything. Straight forward and honest. I took my daughters Toyota Corolla for inspection and oil change. The car was loosing power on incline. They gave an estimation of more than $4000 in addition to inspection fees. I took it to the dealer who found the problem was misaligned Air filter and fixed it for free! It had been two weeks, the car is running great!

I was visiting from out of town when the brake calipers siezed up on my 2010 Dodge Caravan. I left my car with them right before closing time. They promised that they would look at it first thing and they would give me a call. I got a call at 8, approved the repair, and was back on the road by 11am. Very happy with the service. I wish CarFix was in my home town!

Did a very good job diagnosing the car’s problem. We’re honest and stated I didn’t necessarily need to do the brake job for safety but I decided to do it anyway. It fixed my pulsating problem and made the car drive much better. Glad I had them do the work and the price was reasonable.

I recently had my front brakes done by them. Not only was I impressed with the price, but customer service was impeccable. They set me up with a rental and I had planned to pick up my car the next day. I was so surprised with receiving a phone call within a couple of hours later stating my car was ready. First time customer. Broke down while on the road. Called my usual shop, and told them where I was and what was wrong. Locked caliper. They recommended Car Fix, and they took great care of me. Got me towed in just before closing time. Provided me with a nice loaner car. Called the next morning with diagnosis and estimated costs. Fixed in hours, and by the end of the day I was back home good as new. Couldnt have been better. Two thumbs up, and 5 stars. Highly recommended.

This team does a very good job changing the oil and rotating the tires on my 2 vehicles. It is more cost-effective for them to do the work than for me. I find this business to be honest, trustworthy, and caring about my cars. Subaru requires synthetic oil for my car and CAR FIX keeps Good records. If the motor is defective I have proof of CAR FIX records to prove the motor was maintained correctly. Lastly, they rotate my tires when the oil is changed this way my tires wear evenly. Thank you CAR FIX.

I usually take my car at another place to get an oil change but think they shut down due to Covid. I was satisfied with my oil change and the price it was for synthetic. I will definitely go back for other maintenance needed for my car.

This has really been a long time coming. Back In January we were headed to Nashville and our car broke down . We just happened to be right near a shop we had no knowledge of . We were heading to an important surgical appointment about 3 hours away . They checked us in, checked out the vehicle, happened to have a loaner available, and we were on our way within about 45 minutes . Amazing . Then they did repair our vehicle at a very reasonable price . We kept the loaner until our Nitro was ready . They took car of us better than I could ever imagine . We will be heading back soon for some maintenance work.Great Job !!

Overall really good service. The labor price is a bit pricey but cant complain about it to extensively with the quality of work done. Also a real nice thing about them is that they will use the oil and filter you supply to be used on your vehicle. I like this because I know what is being put in my vehicle.

My husband and I dropped my car off on Friday morning at 7:15 at CarFix in Oak Ridge.I had decided to try these folks simply because since moving into the community in 2018, they bombard my mailbox with advertisements constantly. My husband had taken the car there before for an oil change so we thought we would give it a try with some “real work”. This was a mistake!We had had issues with my car overheating, the A/C was not blowing cold and the “check engine” light was on.We intend to sell the vehicle, and explained this fact in detail, when we dropped it off. We just want to get it in shape to sell.First they ran the diagnostics at $109.97 which was stated showed “the thermostat is sticking and will need to be replaced” ($241.42(parts) + $164.96 Labor later) “after testing the tech found that the cooling fan assembly was not working and needs to be replaced” this cost another $287.98 (GENUINE GM PARTS) + $109.97 (Labor). Also stated a code for a camshaft sensor coded.We still have a “Check Engine” light on, which they attribute to the camshaft sensor. We, at this point, refused to get played for more money and told them to button it up.We had specifically discussed the fact we are planning to sell this vehicle and they still used the more expensive parts, contrary to our conversations (GENUINE GM PARTS vs OEM Parts). After a total bill (PAID IN FULL) of over $1,000.00 (for a thermostat, fan & fan housing) when we picked it up (Monday morning) we still have a “Check Engine” light on!They presented me with the key and they did not even bring the car to the door. I had to walk down to the end of the gravel lot and get it myself. I am 66 years old. I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A CAR ANYWHERE in my 50 years of driving and had to go to “the lower 40” and pickup my own car, especially after spending a thousand dollars!This place is ridiculously expensive and have the poorest customer service I have ever received from ANY automotive representative. They will never see this Anderson County Resident or our vehicles EVER AGAIN!!!

The gm takes money from there employees and the manager doesnt stand up for the employees ask them to work off the clock tells them he will pay them cash and once the work is done he doesnt pay if this is how they treat the employees how do u think they are gonna treat there customers or the customers vehicles. This place is great. I work with the same people each time I go (two years now), no high turn over like other places I have been. They do good, affordable, on-time work. You can skip the waiting room (which is nice-tv, water, and coffee all provided) and walk on the beautiful Melton Lake trails which starts right across the street (Elza Gate).

I appreciate their willingness to work around my work schedule so that I could drop off and pick up at easy times. The alignment is great and my car is driving great.

After going to valvoline and them stripping out my oil pan from over tightening the oil plug I decided to do all my oil changes myself moving forward to get away from the massive amount of carelessness and stupidity I encountered at valvoline; it left me pretty jaded.I went to do my first oil change since the valvoline incident yesterday only to find out that they had also put the oil filter on so tight that after 5 hours of trying to remove it just about any way you can think of that Id have to take it back to someone else to finish the job; which I did NOT want to do given my last experience letting someone else work on my vehicle.I did some googling and the reviews for CAR FIX looked great across the board. I called and luckily they were able to get me in quick, which is amazing given when I got to their office they were frickin packed with regular vehicles as well as several Comcast vehicles (which is a good sign because bad businesses dont stay busy and they certainly dont get business from massive companies like Comcast).They were kind, professional, quick, and the price was very fair. They honestly gave me some faith back in letting someone else work on my car if needed and I will definitely go back if needed. Very highly recommend these folks.

Unlike other shops, they took the time to explain each step of the process from diagnosing the problem to what needs to be done to fix it and why. I heard screeching from my back wheels and took my car over to Carfix and they were willing to take pictures and talk me through what was going on with my car. They gave me an estimate and was able to apply a good discount to it as well. They were helpful and honest, which I havent found in Oak Ridge.

I was skeptical at first but Ill tell ya Ive always changed my oil myself and Im 58, Ill never chage it again as long as they are there. Percy was my first contact person and he was fabulous. After that I dealt with different folks the dark haired girl, they are all great just polite and reasonable priced . Dont hesitate folks go there.

***Edited to add: A manager from this location called us to ask how much money it would take to remove our Google review, and we requested at least half of the money we spent back. We were told this had to be reviewed and they would get back to us the next day, and it has been 3 weeks. If youre wondering where all the bad reviews are, they were likely paid to delete them.My husbands brakes were in need of servicing so we went to Carfix as wed used them in the past for oil changes and had no issues. They initially told us we were going to need to replace 2 completely, then called back to advise we really needed to replace all 4. We agreed to the $1400 and also requested an oil change while the vehicle was there. We picked the vehicle up and within 24 hours it was terribly shaking from the engine and the check engine light flashing. Neither of these had ever happened prior. We immediately returned and they discovered that our entire engine needed to be replaced. We decided to get a second opinion and drove the truck to another reputable car repair shop in town, and the truck stalled out twice on the way there. We were then told that not only did they NOT replace the brake calipers (an essential part of replacing the brakes) but also allowed us to drive off 3 quarts low on oil. There was no leak so it appeared the oil had been drained. We were also quoted at least $500 less from this second location to do what we THOUGHT Carfix was doing. We were told that Carfix goes through an entire system check of basic functions, so how we ended up driving off the lot the first time with a bad engine and second time 3 quarts low on oil is beyond us. We are now out $1400 and the vehicle is not safely drivable (although it drove much better when the missing oil was replaced!) The only pro of using Carfix is they allowed us to borrow a vehicle while ours was being serviced. If you use this place, get everything in writing PRIOR to leaving and do not let them dup you.

My brakes went out on me while driving l. Car fix got my car found the problem and fixed it. They kept me posted during the whole repair process. After getting the run around from other shops these guy’s actually took time to help me find out what was going on with my headlights. I had to take it a dealership but carfix told me it was still under warranty. I’m waiting for the light assemblies to come in. The dealership on Kingston Pike wouldn’t even look at it unless a paid a large amount of money and they said nothing about my headlights being under warranty. I appreciate the honesty, I will be back there for my automotive needs.

Carfix put in specialty performance brakes and did a fantastic job. They let us know some parts were not needed which saved us quite a bit of money. Good quote.Im on my way across several states. I expressed this to the gentleman at the front desk. They took this to heart, and went over my vehicles carefully. Then I brought my car in, so I was worried that they (like some other auto shops) might try to change the price on me since I’m female. Not at all! They were very professional and I paid exactly what they’d quoted him. My car was ready on time & as promised. I will be back if I need vehicle service in the future!
