Appt at 1:30pm for oil change, tire rotation snd balance and was greeted very friendly. Let me use their microwave to heat up my lunch while I waited. By the time I finished my lunch I was ready to roll on down the road . Pour of there by 2:15pm . Easiest oil change ever done…. Highly recommend

Customer service at this location is BEYOND EXCELLENT. After a scheduled oil change appointment today, the team was short-staffed, taking them nearly 3 hours to finish my oil change. Because I was inconvenienced by their unfortunate reality, this team went above and beyond to make sure I left today as a satisfied customer. I did, and will definitely return! About a month ago I posted a 2 star review & wanted peeps to know that redemption is possible. Since I was pleased w/ prior services I wanted to give them another chance & Ive since had service done on 2 vehicles. Vehicle #1 went smoothly until they went to refill the oil & discovered they were out of 0w-20 ! This resulted in a wait for them to order some & for it to be delivered. Much to my (pleasant) surprise, they did not charge me for the oil change as compensation. Vehicle #2 went smoothly from start to finish including a prompt start at the appt time. My rating would actually be 4.5 stars (4 for #1 for no oil & 5 for #2). Special shout out / kudos for Technician Ryan. He is pleasant, conscientious, & competent. Give the lad a raise.

This is the best all around auto shop I have ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about this location. I have never felt pressured to buy anything or felt dumb. Especially since Tyson became the manager. Great customer service and great experiences. I buy my tires, get oil changes, and I have gotten other services like brakes done here as well. I highly recommend this location!! I live an hour away and gladly make the drive!

Ive had several services (on 2 vehicles) here & to date I had been very satisfied. Unfortunately I have to call them out on this one (you decide): On a Friday morning wife called me & was very upset that her tire pressure sensor had lit up. By the time she got home the tire was down to 10psi (!) I visually checked it out & found a nail in the tread so I pumped it up & sent her over for a patch (it was a high end road hazard warrantied tire from TD). We had no idea of how fast it was leaking so I sent her w/ a hand pump. The fellow @ TD took a look (presumably finding the nail) but told her he was down several workers & buried so he was unable to help her until the following Monday. Now I can understand that staffing can be a problem but it is not very comforting that they would send an upset 73 yo woman home w/ a tire leaking an unknown amount of air... IMHO they should have at least put the spare on for her. I can only hope that this was an exceptional situation & not commonplace… Footnote: With added air (2X) the tire made the round trip home & back & they did repair the tire in a timely fashion on Monday. 

Nothing but the most POSITIVE things to say about Tire Discounters in Oak Ridge, and the people who work there. I got a really nice deal on 4 new tires and their SERVICE is impeccable. They have INTEGRITY. They will follow through on their offers and promises which is INCREDIBLY REFRESHING, and their billing is transparent and the faces there are kind and friendly. I feel the prices are slightly higher than other less professional places but I suppose thats the cost for quick repairs and a professional experience. The work is quality. I showed up here at 352pm. On a Saturday knowing they close at 4. Just wanting to set the stage. I walk inside and the guy behind the counter, comes out and takes my info. This being, I wanted a patch or a new tire(i e-business). He tells me to pull up to the open bay, to make it go faster, and someone would be with me. I waited there for 20 minutes. No one said a word. If my son wasnt being picked up by a friend. I wonder how long I would have sat there?

I got to the shop just before 8am with 2 flat tires. The guys took care of me quickly. The shop was clean.Best place in Oak Ridge to get your vehicle services.

Store in Oak Ridge was great. Had a set of Cooper tires that had worn down after 25000 miles. Two other TD in Knoxville told me it was normal wear and could give a discount even though they were 65000 mile warranty. Oak Ridge store gave a true evaluation and got a warranty discount

The experience here was great, I called one day because I had gotten a nail in one of my tires. I was setup with an appointment for the next day and they patched up my tire quickly. Everyone that I spoke with was very nice and helpful. I really appreciate the service I received will definitely return in the future.

Wow! These guys were really great! I called and talked to Tyson looking for tires for my daughters car. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me some quotes and recommendations. I agreed to one of the tires, but he said he didnt have 4 in stock and that it would be later that day before he could have it in. I made an appointment for my daughter to bring the car in and I would show up to pay. They were understaffed and running behind, but my daughter was ok just waiting. I got there and we still had to wait. They were very apologetic and gave me 2 free oil changes.Now heres where it gets good. Im a mechanic and I notice things. The lobby has a TV showing all the security cameras in the building including the shop area. So I watched them working on the tires and the alignment. They took really good care of the car, and they even torqued the lug nuts to specification. They also performed the alignment the way that I would. To the average person this may not mean much, but as a mechanic it means a lot. These guys are genuine good people and they care about their work. I trust them and I give them my best recommendation and I will definitely buy from them again.

I was a bit disappointed that I was quoted $120 the prior day but the cost was $154 for a single tire. I asked the person the prior day if this quote included putting the tire on, and yes was the answer.

The service was wonderful and the technician called back when my ticket was complete. It was very helpful. It’s also great that the invoices are emailed to you and the services are reported to Carfax.

Called ahead to get pricing on 2 tires with an alignment and get told roughly around $240. I get there within an hour of this phone call and the price jumps from that to $300 with an additional $50 for lug nuts because mine weren’t “the right ones” however no ones else had ever said that. Completed the work and paid but I wouldn’t have if I didn’t desperately need tired, I will never be going back once my warranty on the tires is done.

Last week I was quoted over $600 for new tires at a different auto shop in Oak Ridge. I came here to TireDiscounters to get a second quote on new tires. Adam was super nice and helpful and friendly. Adam, Tyson, and Vaughn all went out of their way to make me feel like I was making the right decision using them. They very easily could have quoted me a little less and replaced my tires and I’d not know any better. But they inspected my tires and determined I didn’t need new ones. The total cost of repairs ended up being under $50. I waited a week to write this because I was skeptical and waiting for my car to break down this week. While the guys there are amazing and kind and informative it just seemed too good to be true for me. I am more than happy to be proven wrong, they have a new customer for life. Thank you guys again!

UPDATE: The manager Tyson called me to follow up on my review, and I really appreciated that. He definitely went above and beyond to make the situation right, and his integrity definitely changed my mind about doing business with this company in the future.The staff was friendly, but I probably would not go back here. I had four tires replaced on my 2013 Mazda 3 (Small tires) and the gentleman at the front desk told me the tires I chose would be $63 a piece. He did not mention, however, that there would be an additional $29.99 fee for mounting and balancing each tire, as well as disposal fees. So, needless to say, I was a little shocked at the final total of $473. Also, I set and appointment for 10:30 am, which I showed up for 15 minutes early. My little brother picked me up and we left. I went back an hour later and saw, from the street, that they hadn’t put my car in the bay yet. What was supposed to be an hour-and-a-half job ended up taking over 3 hours, and they weren’t even that busy. At one point we just went and waited in their lobby, and I could see them tightening the lugs on my tires 3 times in a row. Be up front about all of your charges, and don’t take 3 hours to do a job that should take 1 or less, and I think you’ll have a lot more return customers.

Got prices for a set of tires. Just shy of $1000. We went to Wal-Mart. Picked out a set of 70K Pirelli with road hazard. For almost half. Dont know what happened to the discount?I got a reply telling me thus also includes a front end alignment. Ok thats great, still $400 dollars is a big difference.

When I first started bringing my car in.. no troubles..friendly staff, but then ... after started having a few issues.. one incident was when I came in for an oil change... no biggie... well after a little bit, I get told that they couldnt do my oil change because I had no oil in my car.. and some where yonder is company policy that they couldnt add any oil or do the oil change.. had to bring it back the next day...fortunately one of the guys was helpful and so came back got that taken care of... well I also started noticing that theres an oil leak and I let them know or ask if they could possibly check and see if i was right... well nothing... then I had a brake bulb go out on the driver rear and I stopped there... after he changed the bulb ... which I can understand it was getting close to closing..dude forgot to put the screws or bolts back on to the tail light and some how I managed not to lose the entire thing as I drove a good amount when I got out and was going towards my house.. its dangling out... kinda like uh wth.. no biggie..just glad it was still there... but unfortunately I have stopped going here because of the fact that it shouldnt take 3 hours to do an oil change... yet the rotation and blah blah took less than 30 mins... I understand they get backed up as I have worked at a tire shop before and know the ins and outs of what theyve gotta do and what not... I do gotta say they still have a friendly environment, a spot for little kids to entertain themselves and very clean store.. what I like bout them is they actually take the time and ask you how your day is going and what not.

If I could give 6 starts I would. They are the chick-fil-a of tire service! Customer service is second to none. I recommend 100%.

Very helpful team of people! Came by to see why I was losing air in one of my tires. They offered to check the pressure in all my tires and filled up the one that needed air at no cost to me. I came back an hour later to get my tire examined and they ended up patching the area the was causing the issue saving me the cost of purchasing a new tire. Very efficient and friendly staff. The name is tire discounters. However, every time I call around for a service they always have the highest price for the job. I could name numerous of other places who do the job right and do not charge half as much as these guys. Sounds more like Tire Upchargers to me

I will definitely be back! They closed at 7 and i called them about 15 minutes before closing explaining how i was almost setting on 3 flats and 1 with a doughnut. They waited till i got her (which took about 25 minutes) and they were still VERY nice! I will 100% reccomend them and i will be back

I called 4 tire shops local n discount tires was the only 1 that would help my 17 yr kids on side of rd I was 45 mins away of getting to her n discount tire went to her put her a Donut tire on and then brought it back to the shop where they put four more on after they were closed

Very nice and professional, I like that they take you into the car bay area to show you what is wrong with your car, no heavy sales pressure and very clean facilities. I recently got an estimate from another local auto repair shop that wanted to replace my serpentine belt and 4 motor mounts. Tire discounters showed me that my belt was fine and that only one motor mount needed replacing rather than all 4 saving me several hundred dollars in unneeded repairs!

Tire Discounters is new and working the kinks out, but over all took care of my truck (oil & rotation) and my wifes car (oil, brakes, & rotors) far better than the last 3 places weve gone. I would recommend them based on our experience.
