I do most of my grocery shopping here on a weekly basis. Most of the time, when I go relatively early (around 7:30am - 9am), I can get in and out rather quickly and easily, which is GREAT for me! Also, the FC staff are always very nice and friendly as well as helpful! The ONLY reason I didnt give 5 stars is that recently the shelves have been a bit bare. Not TOTALLY bare nor really all THAT bad, but simply out of a few of the products Im looking for. But considering ALL of the recent, and unfortunately continuing, problems with the supply chain, Food City seems to be dealing with things as well as can be expected, at least HERE at the Oak Ridge branch!

Good selection of grocery items and well stocked too. Reasonable prices and very friendly associates willing to help you find what you need. I especially like the gas points reward system, which takes off some of my whole cost when I fill up. Its not a huge amount, but it sure helps. :)

Items need ti be put in correct department. Items to high to reach. Had ti climb to get product. Way to high very dangerous fir short people or older elderly adults. Cashiers ate wonderful. But only if you want to wait forever in line. Im not waiting on myself without a paycheck 💯 ridiculous I already have a job I get paid for

Neat and convenient, with great specials and gas rewards program. Friendly staff assisted my wheelchair bound mom out and helped her into the car.

Even though prices on some items can be more expensive than say Walmart, as long as you use the membership card that is available to anyone to have you can get discounts. Just make sure that you mail it in. That being said, this place has been way more helpful and nice than our local Walmart. And since the pandemic they even stay open later than Walmart, even though all stores could be doing the same lately. Its Sep 2021, the last time I was in Walmart they were workers were talking to me and my daughter about how they were glad they were able to get out of there earlier now and they said they were told they would never be going back to the old hours. I guess a co like that can afford it.

The store is clean, and the staff is helpful. It is not too crowded and I can get what I need an be out of the store quickly.

As usual I had issues with the self check out. Which is normal. I use self checkout regularly everywhere else with no problems. Theirs has never worked correctly. Finally went thru a line to pay

Workers were rude and acted bothered to even help you. The produce had bugs flying all around it. Checkout was slower than Walmart which is hard to beat.

I really like doing my grocery shopping at Food City. They have everything you need and its not to big.

Food City is a hit or miss grocery store. They are often out of things I need and their prices are usually higher than Kroger and/or Walmart. However, theyre very convenient, the staff is usually very friendly, and because of their size, its easy to get in and out. Therefore I end up shopping here fairly often. If youre looking to avoid one of the larger stores or you really appreciate the fact that they unload and reload your cart for you, then I would definitely recommend shopping here. If youre looking for value for your money or a large selection, I would recommend shopping somewhere else.

Very fast in and out service🏃 and I have preferred shopping here over The other choices in town close by..I am an out of towner that frequently travels into Oak Ridge several times a month..🚘 and so far this year the only complaints I have is directed at the Pharmacy.👎The employee that was assisting with cunstomers that particular day was noticeably rude with my husband and I while she swiftly waited on us..no smile,.no friendly service at all😞 On the other hand the all other employees have been friendly and helpful.👍This is why I can at this time rate this Food City 3 Stars.

The store has always been clean and the employees friendly! Pricing is what you would expect, generally less expensive than say, Kroger, but they still have a good selection of higher-end foods and a good gluten-free selection. This is important when there is a ciliac sufferer in the family!

This is probably one of food Citys best locations well-equipped a large store everything anyone could need.

Ordered a cake three weeks ago for my daughters first birthday, go into get said cake and they never even made it. Entirely infuriating. If a service inquiry is made and wrote down there shouldnt be an excuse for not having the job done.

Food City is always clean and good service the employees were nice but there is always room for improvement.

The pizzas are great! Got a couple! Vegetarian ones are marvelous! Produce is really fresh here as well as the drinks are amazing! The cheeses are really well cultured!! Superb place with wonderful employees

Our go-to grocery store. Open til midnight. Has just about everything you would need for one-stop shopping. Has the usual fresh foods, a bakery, meat counter, deli and lunch bar. Carries a large assortment of gluten-free and organic foods. Has greeting cards and some toys. Has a floral area.

Honeycrisp apples are the best. I got 20lbs of them.

Did price comparison with Krogers as they are getting out of hand. Seems to be comparable and people are nicer. They have Caroline cart as well. Their produce is much better then Krogers, but smaller selection.

Not as wide as section as some other bigger chains. But they do have a great deli and stock some locally grown food as well as some hard to find items.

Love the employees. They are always helpful. The selection is great and new items are added regularly. Prices are great also.Meat and deli prices are lower than other grocery stores in the area. The butcher and deli employees do their best to get what you want or offer dish ideas.Food City is a grocery store not a mega store. So they can offer a wide selection including store brands with Exceptional prices!

Its the grocery store I always go too. They have the best beer selection in oak ridge, plus a decent wine selection too. The bakery/deli has delicious choices along with a hot bar and a salad bar. Groceries are reasonably priced, equivalent to other stores in town. The layout is nice and easy to navigate/find what you need throughout the store. The employees are always helpful and friendly. My favorite part is gas points, they add up quickly and on Wednesdays you can redeem 2 gas visits to safe 30 cents off/gallon which is a really helpful to save money. Even if you dont buy gas there, you can utilize your gas points to save money off your grocery visit. You can also order online and pick up your groceries, curbside with ease and Ive never picked up an order that has any mistakes. Those are the main reasons that this is my go to grocery store here in town

Very clean store. Would have gotten five stars, but the deli girl that waited on us did not want the job. Very very awful. Salad bar is very good lots of choices. Will go again!
