Nice store for the area(at the edge of a nice neighborhood)especially if needing to run in and out for just about anything they would need! Staff was nice and helpful, one cute little elderly lady that works there took the time to help me and my wife find the best cantaloupe.She also said she wouldnt let us buy the wrong one! How sweet of her!If I was in the area again I would definitely stop in for what I needed.👍🏻

This is a great grocery store for the OR locals but I think its a well kept secret. I come from across the river to shop here because the prices are...well, duh, less.

Clean and plenty to choose from. Employees are nice and helpful. Prices very. Has great deals on things that other stores over charge. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking, no smoking,wheelchair accessible. One employee was singing while he work. He has a great voice. Made shopping fun. A must to visit.

Store is always clean, and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Prices are good, making the convenience outweigh the possible slight savings of driving further to Walmart or Kroger.

Went to the store in St. Plains looking for an item. Website said they had it, but after a 30 minute drive I found out they were out. So called this one in Oak Ridge and asked if they can check if they had the product. Cashier said I would just have to come in and look because she was the ONLY person in the store. This was at 12:40, why would management leave only ONE employee in the store?Edit from One Star: Later when I went to the store and was looking for the item the Asst Mgr helped. I explained the phone call and she stated that the cashier was not the only one in the store and apologized that the cashier did not follow protocols. Jennifer, the manager, even took my name and number and said she would call when the item was back in stock.

This is the best store in town. Great prices, delicious produce and very reasonable prices for hand sanitizer and other items that are very expensive in other stores. They have a great selection of frozen products. I love the phyllo dough and frozen puff pastry. The cheeses and meats are very cheap compared to other places Ive been.

This building has been a grocery store for a long time though it has changed names numerous times. This store name has been there a while now and we enjoy shopping there. The building is older but they keep it really clean. The aisles are spread out nicely with plenty of room for multiple people. The employees are friendly and do a good job with customer service and are efficient. The prices tend to be low, sales are great and we go here specifically to browse and look at sale items. They also have digital coupons that you can use too. The selection isnt very vast on items though some items have selections I cant find other places. I think dairy section is limited for what I need. I dont particularly care for the meat but I shop all the other departments and have never been dissatisfied with items Ive bought and brought home. Also the iga store brand items are good quality (ones Ive tried). Its worth checking out if you havent visited.

Very clean store. I never see many people in the store. It has a smaller variety of goods than the big grocery stores but there is a good mix of products. The employees are helpful. I saw a manager remind an employee the adjust his mask. I like shopping there.

Its an old school small town grocery store and its good for that. It may be a little small and dated but the staff will do anything for you.

Great prices. Plenty in stock on sale items. Meat selection is good and so is the quality.

They are moving shelfs around in the store. A lot of merchandise was not back on the shelfs. When you check out 10% is add to you total sales. The prices look good until you add the 10%

There are some real good deals that can save a lot of monies. Fresh meat deals were exceptional.

This was Food Lion, then a Hanks, and now Priceless IGA. A small-ish typical grocery store. Very convenient for people living in the surrounding neigborhoods.

Price less IGA in Oak Ridge, Tn. is using the Pandemic to discriminate against certain customers. I was just denied to shop because I wasnt 55 years or older or had a doctors note proving that I have a underlying health issues. Thats a HIPPA violation. Seniors are not the only ones at high risk of this virus!!They just lost a loyal customer. Its so disappointing because they have some of the best produce and meat. I usually have a positive experience here and the staff is usually polite and helpful. On this particular day, the manager was just flat out rude

To pricey by the time you add 10%it usally brings the price as high as other stores.

I joke that I keep IGA Priceless in business, but seriously even with the 10% you pay for cost you still come out saving money! Selection is good, staff are very nice/friendly and produce is the best in town as is their meat, in my opinion. I also prefer IGA over big chain stores because I like the small, old market feel. IGA brand is a very good brand that has been around for a long time. Very happy to have an IGA store near me!

Easy access and a surprisingly large array of ice cream

Very clean and great for a quick trip to the grocery store for a forgotten milk or snacks. Would not reccomend for much more than that, the selection is somewhat lacking, being a smaller store, and it feels like an old nineties establishment that just never had the money to upgrade their interior from the basic minimum decor. With no self check, and very untrustworthy produce, this is not the place to spend your Saturday or Sunday grocery shopping.

Found what we needed. In and out in 15 minutes. Excellent neighborhood grocery. Very good produce section.The grocery continues to improve and has earned out loyalty. Produce section continues to be excellent. Name brand selection also is very good. The meat department appears to be competitive. (We buy most of our meats from the local butcher, a local small business.) I heartily recommend Hanks as your neighborhood or go-to grocery.)

On par with other stores with exceptional staff. In my personal experience I have seen the employees go the extra mile more than one occasion. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great selection of items. Many of their everyday prices are the lowest in town.

I think a lot of these reviews are for Hanks, which I really liked. Pay Less is no where near as good. Their cost is a lot more than Krogers on most items, and when you add 10%, they are not competitive.And most grocery chains make less than 10% profit.

I love this place, the deals are great, and the people are amazing! However, the general manager, is in no position to be a manager. Every time I see her there, she treats her employees with disrespect, and you can see the difference in the mood and atmosohere. I have been told by several employees, how much better their job would be if she was not there. Some have even told me that they have left because of her, or want to leave. From what I can tell, based on what some employees said, she has just recently moved up to GM position. I believe that the store deserves better. The employees deserve better. And the customers dont need to come in to get groceries, just to get caught up in store drama. Personally, I myself will not go back, nor recommend the store because of this. Again, I love the store and employees, and would honestly want to recommend the store to others, however one person has ruined it for me.

Nice little store if you need to grab something quick. I didn’t enjoy watching Julie make a cashier cry today though. They Definitely need management refinement before I return.

Hanks is a nice addition to Oak Ridges grocery store options. It gives you the neighborhood market feel when you walk in. It not a huge store but it isnt small either. You should be able to find all you need here. The associates are very nice and are very Customer service oriented.

I love their low prices on meat! Also I had a seizure in their parking lot and they took my 8 yr old in their office so she didnt have to witness such a traumatic situation. Im so very gracious for their consideration! Thanks Sarah...shes now my daughters hero!

Very odd layout, items are grouped in aisles seemingly randomly. Great deals via text if you sign up! Some prices are kind of high compared to other grocery stores in the area, but they frequently have good sales. Love that they dont require a rewards card to get the sale prices!!!

Sometimes you need a smaller grocery store for quick stops and this is a great place for that.

I find the task of remembering to add 10% as I evaluate price and value very inconvenient. It feels like a marketing scheme which makes prices on the shelf LOOK like bargains when the actual outcome is not so economically favorable. This is doubly suspicious when an item is on sale. Otherwise, I find the store clean, and well stocked with good products. But, theres a reason this add 10% at checkout is not more widely practiced.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. Prices are good and an excellent variety of stock. I loved it. Took me back to when I was a child shopping at IGA.

Good price on frozen veggies

I absolutely LOVE this store. The employees are sooo polite and very helpful. I had two employees who always go above and beyond what they have to. During our most recent trip, Austin and Sarah were extremely helpful to my mother and I. I was looking for an item and they were pretty busy the night we were in there, however, Sarah noticed I was lost and came up to me to help. When she couldn’t locate the item, she went straight to Austin who was hard at work and they both stopped what they were doing to assist me. After we found the items, Sarah rang us up and helped us out to our car. My mother has been in their tons of times and Sarah, as well as many other employees, are always polite and willing to help her. I asked another employee about the two and they said Sarah is a frontend manager and Austin is the grocery manager. Honestly I didn’t expect such polite responses as the two seem to be so young and not very often do I see management be so willing to assist customers. Love this store and will continue to shop here BECAUSE of the employees!

Prices are about the same as other stores, they do have some local brands which is nice. But...When you shop here CHECK THE DATE CODES, EXPIRATION DATES.Ive picked up stuff that had expired last month to last year.Told several employees about different items, on different days, what item and where, and they could care less.They lost a star for this we dont care attitude.

Hometown grocery store feel in an area that is primarily supported buy 4 close neighborhoods. Meats and veggies are good quality at decent price but dont really see anything else that specifically brings me in.

Selection is not quite as good as some of the bigger grocery stores but they have most of what we use (produce is very good). Employees are friendly and never have to wait long to check out. Also, you dont need a stupid value card to get discounts.
