Ive been bringing my car to this Pep Boys location for years and they never disappoint me and always get the job done right. Have to say they have come a long way in terms of customer service and are on top of their game now. As a woman who knows very little about car repair, I get intimidated and could easily be taken advantage of. But everyone who works here now is so friendly and helpful. They explain everything and dont try to oversell. Patrick is just an absolute pleasure to do business with, really nice guy. And Dana, the store manager, is very understanding and very kind! Highly recommend this place. Their in-store credit card is super convenient too when those times of emergency repair pop up, as they always do.

This is my go to place when I have issues with my car. Everyone is so polite and very informative. Today I needed to do a diagnostic on my car because was having a little issue turns out had to change my rotors and brakes and do some other work but Josh was very polite and very nice. I always highly recommend this Pep Boys. Been coming here for almost 2 years already. Great place. Josh deserves a raise. 😁

I recently realized that I had a rear blinker light out. I made an appointment at a different auto place and they quoted me $56 to repair. I called Pep Boys to get a second quote and my quote was $20. I went ahead and made an appointment for the next day. Upon arrival Josh was helpful and friendly. He got me out quickly as well. Mr. Daniel outside was great with a speedy replacement. Nice work Pep Boys! I will be back.

I went to start my car this afternoon and it wouldn’t turn over.. I knew it was the battery. I called Pep Boys and they told me to come right in and they would take care of me. I had no appointment and only had to wait around an hour.. on a Saturday! Very impressed with their customer service and prices aren’t too high. Would recommend Pep Boys to anyone!

They were very customer friendly. Didn’t hesitate to help me when I came in at 6:45 and helped me with all I needed at a very good price. I would come back for tires again.

On 7-16-21 I had an scheduled appointment to service my vehicle. When I got there a gentleman by the name Christopher assisted me. I explained to him what was going on and right away he knew what was wrong with my vehicle. He politely and professionally told and pointed out on a diagram that is on the counter what he was talking about. After my car was inspected, no surprise Christopher was right. After a few minutes past by he gave me the amount that would cost to fix the problem and at this point I became overwhelmed because of the cost. He must have noticed because he began to provide me with options including providing me with information about the credit card that was available. This gentleman not only had good customer service but he also showed empathy to my situation and for that I am grateful. At the end my vehicle was fixed and the staff members, especially the gentleman who worked on my car where extremely nice and pleasant. Just wanted to thank them all for great customer service and for helping me.

Heard a ticking noise in my motor..want into pep boys to get a couresty checkup on my engine to see what was going on...took them roughly an hour to look over my vehicle.. Today I broke down right in the backside of the establishment. At first I panicked because last week my hood started smoking and luckily it was a minor fix. Naturally my mind went in the worst direction. As I was on the phone with AAA something told me to look over and as I looked I realized it was a tire shop. I sent my son over to see if they had batteries or at least a tester before I spent money on the battery I wanted to make sure that’s what it was. He came back and said yea, they do.hallelujah! I ran over to see if I was at least able to borrow the tools to take my battery out because I for some reason thought the battery could be tested that way-And I got something better...the manager allowed the gentleman to follow me to my car to jump it so I could drive it in the parking lot and have my battery replaced.They didn’t have to or could have to me no or against policy or whatever the case would be, but they didn’t! Super grateful and would highly recommend! If I could give a 100 ⭐️ rating I would!

Absolutely one of the worst shops I’ve ever delt with been in twice for a 4 wheel alignment, were supposed to put on new rear adjustable link, looked out they were putting camber bolts on the front, they said they misunderstood, went back the following week to have a new rear adjustable link installed, looked out they were putting bushings in the old link they did ONE bushing on One end, said they didn’t fit, ?, said they would order me the proper link that was 3 weeks ago, never heard back, if my trucking company did business like that we would be out of business, that place needs adult supervision or someone professional running it

Im guessing the employees get their tires for free by the number of donuts that he did behind the building after closing. They are very slow when on the clock, unfortunately.

I had my tires balanced in Hollywood FL buy pep boys they put stick on weights and they came off as soon as I got on the highway stopped in Ocala Florida Josh was awesome they rebalanced the tires no questions asked everybody was very professional highly recommend

I had a tire blowout on I75 and was towed to Pep Boys. The staff was AWESOME. It was late on a Sunday but they were able to give me a new tire. Now my vacation can continue. Did I say how AWESOME they were!!

On hold from Silver Springs location until I pulled into the parking lot. All 3 Ocala locations are understaffed & overbooked on Sundays. Computer system doesnt connect to other locations, so Road Hazard purchases dont show up in their system. Will take all day for a rotation & a patch & 1 location couldnt even fit me in. Did not receive a call that Jeep was ready. Will not buy tires from Pep Boys again. Discount Tire has my business from now on.

I had purchased so called bargain tires from Walmart worst experience ever. Had the tires on my Lexus ES350 car pulled left then right, never could be balanced. Took my car to Pep Boys in Ocala talked to Chris and had it aligned, took the Wal Mart bargains off and replaced them with Cooper Tires and the car drives like it was new. They are balanced perfectly and we have no shimmy. The price was very fair and the service was timely. I shall return when my truck tires need replaced.

Just had the best experience at Pep Boys! Had a simple thing to do to my car, change the windshield wipers. But I didn’t know how to do it. Never had to do it myself before. Had two awesome people wait on me and help me. Tina found the right size for me and Ramon put the windshield wipers on and showed me how I could do it myself. He was very kind and patient. I would highly recommend Pep Boys to anybody.

I made an appointment online for 11:00 this morning. I arrived at 1055 and was told it would be an hour until the could replace my headlight bulb. The man behind the counter said they dont honor the online appointments and the website doesnt know what appointments are available. I left and came back at 1212 and my truck had not yet been moved. I asked for the manager the man said he was the manager. He likened his store to a doctor and said I shouldnt have made the appointment online I should have called!!! This manager who said its his store told me not to raise my voice. I tried to explain that I did not appreciate his horrible attitude. He finally said he refuses to work on my vehicle and returned my keys!!

Much like many other places they wanted a crazy high price for a tire replacement. Quoted me for 192 hahah. Went to Walmart got it for 112.

Very disappointed. From one hour wait, became 3 hours on one tire. Pathetic. Saw the workers racing the car up. Workers were on slow no, no motivation whatsoever. It’s sad to see what kind of customer service you have to deal nowadays. If you want to take a nap, this is the place. But if you want to get up and go try discount tire, better customer service, and employees. If I can give them zero stars I would.

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! My truck needed 4 new tires to haul 6 horses back to Texas, and we didnt realize this until it was almost closing time on a Saturday night. They stayed late to make sure we got my tires so that we could leave Sunday morning. The staff was very friendly and couldnt have been more accommodating. The checkout price was also less than I was quoted on the phone! I would highly recommend them!

I think you are in need of some more help at your location on highway 200 in Ocala Florida I had an appointment at 2:00 and did not get out of there till 10 minutes after 7:00 I think that was a little excessive other than that my experience was great

I started out the day at Sams Club. They wanted 500.00 for 4 new Good Year tires for my Ford F-150 and said the service would take about an hour to an hour and a half but they couldnt get me in until the next day. So I came down a couple of blocks to Pep Boys. I came in around 10:30 am. The staff member told me they could take me right away and it would take about an hour to an hour and a half to complete my service. That was 3 hours ago. At 2 hrs I asked if there was something wrong and I was told no, they are working on it. Now they are telling me there was a problem with rust. Never coming here again.

Though I rarely post negative reviews, after being treated so shabbily by an extremely rude, arrogant (and smirking!) young mechanic and his equally abrasive uncaring manager, Im compelled to warn people -- especially handicapped seniors such as myself - to avoid this particular Pep Boys! Great service but unfortunately this location is closing soon but at the moment they have a 50% off sale for all carry out items. (Fluids, tools, wiper blades and stuff of that nature.) Does not include parts from the warehouse or tires and paid services.

Stopped by this pep boys location to get some automotive parts, when I walked in no one was at the sales counter so I waited there a few minutes before getting greeted and offered assistance. The rep was helpful in getting me the parts I needed. I have also had minor service work done here (tire rotation & oil change) Miguel was extremely helpful and nice in getting us out the door quickly. However I did not receive a call notifying me when the service work was done.

Took my vehicle, we had problems but They made them ABSOLUTELY WORSE!

Terrible experience. Had an appointment set up for 9 am and after over 5 hours of my car sitting it was finally taken back. Told them multiple times I had to have the car back at 2 pm to pick up my son. The receptionist is clueless... when called multiple times on status of my car he did not know what I was talking about and asked the same repeated questions with the runaround. Keep in mind this was a brake rotor repair to be done. The communication at this place is nonexistent... what is the point of making an appointment??? Do not waste your time!!!

Ordered battery for my car online for store pickup because they had 25% off online purchase.Got to store and they could not bring order up on retail floor computer. Apparently it was on auto service computer. They had a hard time even bringing that up.Original price was $175 less 25% off, about $131. Plus $18 core charge making total $149 + tax. I brought core with me, so no core charge, total should be $131 plus tax. They still tried to charge me $149 because printed receipt from online order showed total as $149 without core charge listed separate. They wanted to charge $149 plus $18 core charge than subtract $18 because I brought core with me. Finally got it settled and left with battery 20 minutes later. Should have been a 2 minute in and out transaction.Staff was pleasant. No complaints with them.

I went in today to buy one tire and was quoted 1 1/2 to 2 hours for the service. At hour 2, I question how much longer it would take. I was told it should be going in shortly. I waited another 1/2 an hour, and the car was still not taking in. So now we are at 2 1/2 hours and the car is still not taken in! I asked to speak to a manager who was the rudest person I had ever spoken to in the whole world! I told him what was going on, and he said if youre going to complain you can just take your key back and leave. And thats what I did! I came to Mr Tire of Ocala, and they put a tire on in less than half an hour! Kudos Mr. Tire of Ocala, whom will be getting a 5 rating from me! Mr. Manager over there at Pep Boys you need to learn customer service! You dont know the first thing about how to treat customers like they should be!!

Pep boys is one of those places that still believe in great customer service. if youre looking for a place to get yourself some parts for your car get some friendly advice get new tires or just have a question about something pep boys never seems to disappoint. they dont mind answering questions they dont mind helping you out they dont mind getting to the bottom of the problem with you. also they dont ever seem like theyre annoyed they seem like they are happy to help you with any problem whether theyre going to make money or not. I just think its an all-around great place and they definitely will get my business always.

Very disappointed. This location is no longer a store to shop for tools,parts or fluids. It has been designated as a service center. All that they do is change oil and replace tires. Maybe a few other services.

Work was done in a timely manner (alignment) and tire rotation only problem I had is they did not give me a copy of my alignment adjustment told me I could take a picture of it would be nice to have a paper copy for my files

I am very dissatisfied with the services offered to me in this store. I went to this location in hopes of changing out my tires with new ones I had bought from the Pep Boys which I already had in the vehicle and when I arrived they told me I was not able to get the service done because I didnt have the receipt of the tires. I insisted that I didnt need the receipt and to look on the computer for it,they said that if I cant provide it that I wont get them changed. I called the Pep boy store on Silver Springs and they informed me that they are able to change the tires without receipt. So once I confronted supervisor, Mac, about it he then changed his story to say that each store has different policies and his didnt allow for the change without receipt. Needless to say I went to the Silver Springs, Pep boys and they were able to change my tires no problem and even did it free of charge for the incovenience.I felt discrimitated against by the supervisor because they required a receipt and if I didnt provide they woudlnt do the service, as if to say that I had stolen the tires and that is very disrespectful being a spanish woman.

No matter which pep Boys you go to they will try to rip you off, which is a shame. Save your time (appointments take HOURS for simple things) and money. I dont typically leave reviews however, I will to save other people the hassle. Another location told me I needed new brakes costing $600 and after taking it to another company they told me theyre fine. Now Im being told a part is broken and need to spend extra to get it fixed. Everything with the car was fine coming into the appointment now Im being held hostage for hours while they resolve the problem. Bad business model as a whole to magically find issues with the car every time you go in. Will not be going to pep Boys ever again and if youre reading this save your time and go to a place that actually cares!

We caught a flat on our way back to Atlanta. We pulled over at the next exit and thankfully Pepboys was right there. They took our truck and told us they were busy but would fit us in. 1 hour later we came back our truck was good to go. My husband asked Tony how much and he replied with a smile and said, no worries, it on us, no charge. Thanks Tony, thanks Pepboys. You blessed us and now we will pay it forward!

Very caring and nice staff. Made sure my vehicle was safe for my children. Fair on price. Better tire and price than discount tires. Went in with no appointment and had 4 new tires and an alignment within 2 1/2 hours. Which is not bad time compared to many other places around town. Will definatley be taking my vehicle back for future needs. Also have many specials and opportunities for a credit card

Needed brakes. Did not have an appointment. Got me in and out with a very reasonable wait time. Great staff, service writers and mechanics. Good price for the work I had done. They also give a 10% discount to Vets.

We were recently on a road trip heading back to Texas and our vehicle’s battery terminal went bad. After trying all the local auto part places, there was no part that would work. We ended up getting it towed to this Pep Boys location right before they closed and the guys were super helpful and even pushed it in a bay right at 8 pm when the window was down and we couldn’t get it back up. They did quick work and good work on the vehicle after getting the right part from a Lincoln dealership. We were able to get back on the road to Texas a couple of days later and the car ran so much better than it had been! Thank you to everyone at Pep Boys in Ocala off of College! You all have great customer service and do really good, quality work on vehicles!

Buy 2 Cooper tires, get 2 free. Price on internet cheaper than store price so I had to ask. They were busy on Black Friday so it took 2 hours even with an appointment but job was well done for great price. I would go there again.

Received some great service from these guys after we got a puncture on the interstate. Super quick and extremely helpful. We got a new tire and were back on the road by the time we had a meal. Would recommend!

Very poor customer service today. I waited at the tire service center for a few minutes before anyone came up front. Once someone finally came to the front he didn’t even acknowledge my presence and pretended I was invisible. After he fumbled at 2 of the computers, a second man came up front, looked at me and walked out. I will never spend my hard earned money where the service is rude and unappreciative. I’d come to get my tire plugged but I will go to Firestone or a company that appreciates business during this pandemic.

Purchased two tires for my car at an incredible price. The technician rotated my tires without me having to ask, which was great. The car drove like a dream on my 4 hour non stop trip after leaving. Fast service today.

This place and atmosphere reminds me why single women should not go into an automotive place without a man! I was treated like nothing. Nobody helped me to figure out what would be the best oil change for me. I bought a coupon in and the guy Miguel acted like he didnt want to take my coupon claiming he applied it and when I get my receipt I see that theres no coupon applied. Few days later my car goes to leaking oil. Hopefully I am treated with gratituity and they fix what they messed up.beyond upset Ive never had this problem with an oil change 😤*update Ill never ever go back my car has been vibrating and since my oil change and they redid it and messed it up even more. My car had never made a sound or shook or vibrated SMH.

1st got told that they would do the diagnostic for free for me... turns out the end up charging me for it even though tested and found nothing wrong. The very next day my vehicle did not start again. They did offer to test again and if they did not find anything they would just refund. Just found it annoying that Auto Zone and Advanced auto said starter issues but they found nothing wrong.

Montoya was very cooperate and very knowledgeable when talking prices of tires and the hours of work needed to do a specific job. For sure appreciate getting me in and being able to take care of me. Service guys are typical and hard to trust. They don’t follow through with their commitments and it’s just easier to find a place that’s more willing to go above and beyond for your business.

Robert took very good care of me and the cost of tires. I put Coppers on my Dodge Ram nice smooth ride. He also gave a me a great deal on lifetime wheel alignment. Really easy to work with.

I needed my brakes fix that were gone, it was towed to Pep Boys and they stayed late made sure the brakes were fixed and they even found discounts to help with the bill. It cost $515.00 and when you want as long as I did it could of been a lot more. If you check any other place and what I needed done that was a GREAT price. I would use them again. They were kind to me and my granddaughter, they did not have to stay late to finish but they did..They get a 5 star from me. Thanks again,

What a joke. Tried to set up appointment for my wifes car to go in for oil change and four new tires tomorrow. Was told that I needed to set up the appointment and order the tires online to get the 20% off. Went online, but they only would let me ship tires to the house. Why ship the tires here, and charge more than the 20% in shipping. So poor customer service. Will go elsewhere. Thank you for the early warning Pep Boys. Save me alot of time and money from messing with you it looks like.

I called ahead to find out how long an oil change would take because I had to pick up my fiance in an hour and a half. I was told it would only take 45 minutes. Here I am still waiting for my car an hour and forty minutes later. When I asked the girl that signed me in how much longer it would take, she barely remembered who I was. She told me it was because Enterprise rental car had an appointment and she forgot about it. That is a poor excuse. She did offer to discount my bill. While I appreciate that, it doesnt make up for making me late to pick up my fiance. I will not be going back here for service work.

The service is good. Great deals. The only thing that needs improvement is the speed. It took almost two hours to change two tires!! unbelievable. But they are always busy and only place open on Sundays. Really a life saver when your on the road and have an emergency.
