The only place that answers their phones when you call. Gives great service, personable attitude, and quick diagnostic work. Have received a phone call detailing issues the day it was dropped off. Also helped me get into my car when it locked in the parking lot with my keys still inside of it.The only place in town I take my vehicle for repair.

Absolutely disgusted to hear that with a 12:00 appointment my Mom (who is battling cancer ) was still waiting . I came in and asked how that was ok, and was given an absolute terrible attitude, very confrontational. Then smirked at me and asked if I wanted the number for corporate. I guess he was confident that this behavior will not be addressed . If negative starts were and option I would not have given 1 star! Absolutely horrible customer service.

They were supposed to align my front end. They put the new parts in and there alignment machine went down they said they would call me when it got fixed. They let me drive out of there with my tires wears then they were, still have not heard from them. That was over two weeks ago. I went to Firestone and had it aligned with in two days.

They replaced my AC condenser and bill was less than they quoted me. Great service

This place ALWAYS treats me right! This morning they began my scheduled oil change right on time and made sure I was done in time to meet my first work appointment this morning. They have always been honest with me and have gone out of their way to help me in the past. Today, as usual, they were friendly, professional, and courteous and the lobby area was clean with a pleasant scent (it doesnt smell like a mechanics shop) with lots of reading material and comfortable seating. I highly recommend this place.

I stopped by to see about an oil change and check on my breaks. The gentleman at the counter told me they were all booked but took the time to check my breaks to make sure I’d be safe for a quick road trip. When I came back for my appointment a few days later they were courteous, friendly, and very thorough. Not only did I get my breaks done but I had some major AC work done that has my car running very cool now. Highly recommend!!!

I love these guys. Ive been taking my cars to them for several years. Theyre pleasant, helpful and fast (especially if you have an appointment). They have never recommended or charged for anything I didnt need. If a repair is needed, theyre very good about communicating with me beforehand to explain my options and get prior approval. Theres virtually no staff turnover; youre dealing with the same guys every time. They always check my car for roadworthiness before I go on a road trip and I trust them to give me the straight scoop. Kindness and empathy deserves more than 5 stars. Our family had an emergency auto issue on a 13 hour road trip. A 2 year old and two dogs in the car, tired and stressed out. Two other auto stores werent able to help, but three employees at Tuffys immediately came over to help, and were able to stabilize the issue. But most importantly they were KIND. I wish there was something more than an honest Google review I could do for them. Thanks guys :)

Always gets me in quick when I walk in, actually does the oil and filter change unlike other places and even advised my girl that she didnt need the brake pads she thought she did and explained what was happening. Honest work by good mechanics.

Everytime I go yhere just for an oil change the next day something always goes wrong with my car it either overheats or has 0 oil in it. Not sure what they are doing but now I have a blown head gasket.

They are the WORST!! Manipulating, lie, steal, untrustworthy, inexperienced, rude and inconsiderate. I would NOT recommend to ANYONE!!Andre welcomes you like they can do it all. Upon paying the bill and a short drive later the car ran worse than before bringing it in.When confronted they denied their work had anything to do with it. Upon speaking to his manager Fred I was told they dont even have mechanics qualified to work on my car. Yet no refund. Zero compassion. Only advised to take my car elsewhere or they would call the police.

Just call Andre with your AC needs and they will take care of your vehicle and get your AC blowing like it was from the factory! I had a pleasant experience working with Andre; he called Me throughout the process and kept me in the loop...In the end they found the problem resolved the issue and now my a/c blows so cold I have to turn it down!! Lol! Great job Andre and your team!

I was travelling out of state with my dog. The gentlemen at Tuffys were so kind and accomodating. They told me it would be a $90 diagnostic fee and that the fee would go toward any services they performed. After checking out the truck, they recommended I take it to a local transmission shop because it would be much faster and less expensive, and waived the diagnostic fee. Happy to recommend such a friendly, honest and helpful business!

First, it started with Fred. I called on Saturday because I was frantic about my Betty (BMW) 328i that stalled out while I had my daughters (2) in the car with me some 60 miles away from home. I am a single mom. I didnt know where to turn or what to do and AAA was giving me trouble. Fred was calm and informative. He knew what to do. He said, Get the car here as soon as you can and we will start working on it so that you can get answers. I felt relieved. I couldnt follow the car but I contacted them 20 minutes before close and got some answers but had to wait until Monday to find out more... Enters Chris. Chris finished the transaction by telling me it was something to do with some sensors and he was so happy that it wasnt anything worse. He offered solutions and seemed to be on my side. I was so worried about cost. I could only afford so much right now. I had to pay my rent. He offered a house payment plan and that helped me so much. Chris was kind and friendly and wasnt rushing me off of the phone. I even added an oil change to the service because poor Betty was 11,000 overdue for that. Chris took care of everything. When I picked up my Betty on Monday, she looked good and so far she is running smoothly. I was told about the guarantees and if there is something to happen, I will have coverage no matter where I am stuck. I felt safe had comfort thanks to Chris. I WILL BE GOING BACK. I will be telling my friends. I am so thankful.

We came in for a brake inspection before a trip just to make sure we were set. Andre came back to let us know we were okay while making suggestions for a fix, but wasnt a necessity. Went ahead to get an oil change while we were there. We are new to the area So we were unsure what places are reliable.They were all very nice, and I fully appreciate honesty since I was able to save that $100.Will definitely be coming back for any of our car repairs!

After several regrettable past visits to pep boys, I decided to try somewhere else and pulled into Tuffy instead. Andre was incredibly helpful and kind and had a lovely smile. My brake pads were worn down to oblivion but in a matter of an hour and a half I was back on the road for a reasonable price. Highly recommended. ✌️ Never catch me at pep boys again.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Dodge this place like your life depends on it. If you are a woman, and no thing about cars, this is the type of place ppl warn you about. They will try to sell you stuff you dont need and will not fix the problem on your car. You walk in there pay the money and then leave with the exact same problem you originally went in for. Or your car works for a week or two and then messes up again. They talk a good game and will make you feel comfortable. Give you an estimate and all of that. The main problem with these guys is they know what the problem is. Instead of fixing it they will only fix part of it knowing it will give problems later on and you will come back. Beware!

Freddy,I just want to say how pleased I am to hear that you reversed the charges on Audras repair. I dont want to think you intentionally were deceitful because weve done business with Tuffys for many many years and I personally have never had any issues. But the situation that happened with Audra I can understand why she felt that way. She mentioned to me that it made more sense to file the claim for the warranty and reimburse her for the original job less the deductible if there is one. Shes working really hard this past year to save money and that was a hard blow and then to find out it wasnt the correct repair caused her to feel betrayed. So, Im glad to hear that you value your work ethic and your shop integrity to do what youre doing. Thanks again, Freddy (Angel). You did the right thing. ❤️

They are very nice but the technician was either lazy or was not to knowledgeable. I took my truck in and had them run diagnostics I had a code po172 and po175 come on and off as a check engine light and also wanted to see why there was a clunking noise coming from the front end. When I pick up my truck the technician told me the front bumper and wheel well was hitting each other but clearly that’s not the issue since it’s still making noise after Securing the wheel well cover. When I asked to see why I was having the check engine codes pop up he told me he only found lean codes and said I need to change my spark plugs and clean the throttle body. After I got all 8 spark plugs changed an also pulled an cleaned the throttle body I STILL get the same codes. this place just wasted my time and money wouldn’t recommend any diagnostics from these guys 👎

When leaving the doctors office stuck on 17 and Pine I heard my tire hemorrhaging air i was able to make it to their shop right at closing time where they stayed open long enough to get me safely on the road again. great bunch of guys thank you so much Kevin

I Love this place to death, i have brought every car i owned to this establishment . Fred the owner is always so kind and knows how to make his customers feel safe and appreciated . Out of all of my times there Both Chris the manager and Fred has always seemed to do the most they can to help . We need to support more shops like this . The techs there are all certified and know what they are talking about ! From my BMWs to My audis these guys know what there doing and always leave me satisfied with their work . Not to mention there excellent warranty policy and the awesome credit line they have to offer ! I never see these guys trying to get over on anyway ! Would reccomend to everyone in our small city !

So, we walked over to Tuffys. Awesome staff! Loaded me and the kids up and brought a jump box. Jumped us right away and made it to my sons DR. Apt! Thank you to your wonderful staff. You saved the day! As well as earned a customer for life!

We were about 2 hours into a 5 he trip and stopped at Tuffys because our car was acting strange. They tried to help us and determined what the issue was, but because it was late on a Saturday, they were unable to get the part. Even though they spent at least an hour workingwor our vehicle, they charged us nothing. We were thankful for their honest and fair approach!

I took my vehicle for front and back brakes after 1 1/2 hour they call me to tell me that i need to change the rotor because they can not be resurface i told them to go ahead and change the rotor went i come back i ask them to give me everything that they took out of the car at this time i see the old rotor i ask to speak to fred the owner i told him that why they make me spend 180.00 plus tax went they had enoght room to resurface and the explanation that he gave me did not make sence i told him that i see that like a rip off i was not happy about it .

I went there today to get my brakes checked and decide to but new once in and got also my tires rotated I didnt had no appointment but was no problem the service on the desk was very nice I will go back there again if I need anything else done the price was ok thanks for the service also on the mechanic

I wish I knew the names of these guys who helped me out.My wife and I were in a 14 car accident on I-75 and my vehicle was damaged just enough that I couldnt drive it all the way back to fort Walton beach without issues. My insurance company recommended this tuffy and I headed straight there for a temp fix. As I pulled up they were closing but, when I told the guy behind the counter my situation, he took the truck to a tech, they spent all of 5 min unbending my tailpipe from around the wheel and sent me on my way! Never charged me a dime. This tuffy exemplified customer service, selflessness, and general care for other humans that day and to them I owe a great many thanks! Great shop!

I brought my Jeep Patriot to Tuffy yesterday, April 25th, because I had a really bad rattling sound coming from under my hood. Before I took it to Tuffy I had a mechanic friend take it for a ride and listen and he informed me that it sounded like the alternator was going bad. So yesterday morning I dropped off my vehicle before they opened. When the owner contacted me I explain to him what my friend told me. He called me back a little bit later and said it was the tensioner and the two idler pulleys. I was so disappointed because I was counting on it being the alternator and having it covered by the warranty. Im on a fixed income and work part time so every penny is very precious to me. Considering that Ive known the owners of this Tuffy for a very long time, I trusted his diagnosis and okayed the repair which mainly consisted of labor cost. I got to the garage around 9 a.m. and waited for my car to be fixed. The owner informed me that the work was done and I went ahead and paid $370.80 for the repair. I walked out to my car and the minute I started it up I noticed the same exact sound was coming from the engine. Needless to say I was quite upset because I dont know how the mechanic didnt hear this noise when I heard it the minute I turn the key. That also told me that the repair that they had done was not the repair that needed to be done to fix the problem. I called over another mechanic and ask him to listen and he agreed with me that it was the alternator causing the vibration and the knocking. He called over the mechanic who did the repair and with a little insistence finally got the mechanic to agree that the alternator was the culprit. So back in the bay my car went while I proceeded to wait in the lobby for an addl 3 1/2 hrs. Total of 7 1/2 hrs there. They went ahead and replace the alternator, which by the way is covered under my warranty, and when I started my car the noise was gone. I tried to talk to the owner and asked if he could reimburse me for the labor from the first repair since that was not the problem and that they misdiagnosed the problem. He commented that he did the new repair and that he wouldnt even worry about it. He thinks Im some kind of female idiot, because I know that he can file that claim with my warranty company and still get paid for it. Besides, if youre gonna eat the alternator repair (which is covered) and charge for the first repair (which I paid full price for) why not reverse it and reimburse me for the labor from the wrong repair then file the claim for the right repair? I was so upset that he wouldnt meet me even halfway on the labor. I realized that I had just been had and I left before I started to cry. I then realized that I didnt get my old parts back so I called back to Tuffy and ask for my original parts that were taken out of my car and he said that they were down in the the garbage can but he should be able to get them. He made it seem like it was a big ordeal to get the parts out of the garbage. My father used to be the shop manager at this Tuffys for 9 years and I am actually appalled that the owner allowed this young mechanic to do repairs without double-checking his diagnosis. Im even more appalled that I feel that the owner covered up the mechanics error and still got the money for the labor when the repair didnt need to be done. I have since obtained my own personal mechanic, put my own personal review of Tuffys on my Facebook page for all to see, and I will be sure to tell my story to anybody who will listen that is how upset I am. When people pay so much money for labor I truly believe that the repair that is being done better be the right repair. I will not be going back there ever again. And I will continue to callmmy warranty company once a week for as long as I have my warranty to make sure he doesnt file a claim that he assured me he wouldnt be doing. My faith in service stations just dropped significantly thanks to Tuffys! There was a time, a long time ago, I used to call him Freddie Angel. Wish he would come back.
