This was actually the second time Ive used Auto Masters and I have nothing but good to say about them. The first time I used them was back in May because my engine locked up and the very same day I took it in John gave me a call to let me know that my particular car had a recall issue on it and then proceeded to tell me the recall number and the steps I can take to get it fixed for free! So instead of charging me out the nose for diagnostic or repairs they didnt charge me a dime and told me where I could get it fixed for free! Last week I took it in for an electrical issue and again they called me the same day to tell me exactly what was going on and how much it would be and I got it back on the day they said it would be back and for the price they told me it would be so I would highly recommend them John is a very trustworthy man you can hear it when you talk to him that he isnt after your money he just wants your car to run as good as it can.Thank you from Greg Pierce!!

The place is clean and the workers are very friendly and tell you up front what things will cost so youre not surprised and if you dont want to they dont pressure you. Told me what I needed and gave me the diagnosis and it was of course expensive. This is their profession Im not complaining at all, he told me to keep it and know someone mechanically inclined its cheap & after spending 138$ for a diagnostic test I couldnt spend another $600 for one replacement. So yes, yes I did, by myself I bought the parts I needed and replaced all my spark plugs and coils for $119 my 03 Chevy trailblazer runs like new. I fix cars on own when its simple AND I have the correct issue at hand, so I appreciate the honesty and help. Thank you very much!

Jeep was not steering to my satisfaction, they did a shake down and all was good. This gave me a peace of mind. It’s best to be safe. Manager is knowledgeable, friendly and was very helpful in explaining.

First off these guys are the most professional shop I’ve ever been too! I own a ram 3500 dully long bed so finding a shop that can align it is very hard. I’m from North Carolina and had to head home for an emergency the next morning. They were able to get me in and out in under an hour. I would highly recommend them.

So lucky to have found John and crew at AutoMasters! Moving my daughter out of her apartment for the summer and her vehicle broke down in Ocala. We were able to make it to the local Chevy dealer who were awful, told us they were busy and did not care that we had broken down far from home. Thankfully we found AutoMasters and although they were busy too, they were very understanding and were able to squeeze us in and get my daughters car repaired the next day. Loved that we were kept updated through an initial phone call and then subsequent text messages with detailed inspection reports and estimates with photos! Diagnose the issue with my car, and do exactly what to do to fix it and to add they even went out of their way to send me pictures of the problem and made recommendations on small concerns I need to keep an eye out for as well as think about replacing very soon. We needed a lot of work done on our motorhome and are in Florida from Washington state. They got us in quick and did everything they could to work around our schedule. They got us out the door on a Friday night so we wouldnt have to stay at a hotel that weekend and finished the last few things when we got back to town. They did a great job and we are very happy we went there for all our work.

I had a seller drop a car off at AutoMasters for a pre-sale inspection. John set up an appointment time, and sure enough, the car got in at that time. They have a system set up where they upload pictures of the inspection as they are doing it, so you can see any issues the technician points out. It helped a lot in my case, as I do not live in Ocala so I couldnt be at the shop. Following the inspection, John gave me a point-by-point breakdown via phonecall on potential issues he saw with the car, which helped me decide whether to purchase it or not. The service was a little more expensive than Ive had at other shops, but the quality was much better and overall much more informative.Very pleased with the experience, would definitely recommend them for this service.

First thing I really liked was, the man who serviced my car owned the same car. He did a thorough inspection. Found some serious problems. Got my repair really fast. They ran a code reader on my car, and from there, went into the engine bay to determine the problem to fix. However, the light came back on within a couple days.

My daughter’s boyfriend bought a car from me and shortly after it developed the infamous oil cooler leak that impacts the dodge 3.6l engines when they get over 80k miles, so I was going to go to the dealership, but decided to search and find a place that could get it done faster. I haven’t used any non-dealership mechanics in Ocala before, so I searched for highly-rated mechanics and AutoMasters had the best reviews so I figured I would give them a shot.I set up an appointment using their website which was super easy and then arrived the following day. There was no wait and I was able to get in and out of there quickly which was wonderful. They looked at the car and were able to diagnose and give me an estimate in under 15 mins. The part was hard to find but luckily they were able to find one for me and installed it the next day. The repair cost about what I expected based on my research. Since then, everything has been working perfectly. They did an outstanding job.My other cars are German so I get nervous to have non-dealership repairs, but they said they deal with German cars all the time, so based on my experience with the dodge, I feel like I will take my Audi there when it needs service next time. They shop was clean, the employees were nice, no tricks or scams, just quality work that was done on time. I’m so happy I found this place!!

Had a pre purchase exam done. Very professional, pointed out major items, provided a report with pictures. They worked me in with short notice and were very easy to work with. Explained everything very well. Will use them if I need auto work in the future.

My convertible leaked and made my windows stop working and they broke the pins that connected the door pieces together so it flops around on the passenger side (and it just needed a button replacement in the center so they didn’t have to open the door at all). I went in with $800 for a new set of tires but they sold me their “house brand” or whatever then when they were bald, not even 10k miles later they flat out lied and said I told them I wanted the cheapest tires I could get. Very unprofessional, rude and scummy. I’d set my car on fire before I come to this place.

The facility is clean the tech has creeped my car after finish the job and when I came they were very honest with me about what happened and told me that they will fix the damage and they will get it repair and they will be responsible for it which is very very very so good character of honesty and I think that is a great thing to have when there is integrity in business and they are owned up to the obligation of something that occur not trying to lie or deny it I find that very very fascinating

I’ve owned my car for almost 7 years now and she is a little older (2005) so I’ve had quite a few issues since I’ve had her and they have always taken amazing care of me. I lived in Orlando for 5 of those years and Tampa since then and I still drive all the way to Ocala if I need any type of work done.Local, family owned business with amazing mechanics and techs who always welcome everyone in. This is a excellent repair shop. My car turned out to be very difficult with several hidden problems in the AC system. The tech Matt is absolutely great, took the time to explain what was happening. It took an extra couple of days but the owner personally called to reaasure me that they were only waiting on parts. I was not charged anything extra amd they had it done and working perfectly. I highly recommend their service and commitment to quality work and customer service.

I’ll try and make this short....I took my Tacoma to Toyota dealership, because it was vibrating and making weird sounds.$140 just to look at it🤨They said I need all 3 U joints replaced and it would be $1000.I called around and got a variety of different prices over the phone.Then I called automasters, and they wouldn’t give me a price over the phone, they said I needed to come in so they could look at it first....I liked that!Went there, they looked at it, called me back later and told me not all 3 needed to be replaced but if I wanted to replace them all at the same time it would be a good idea.Well I did!! Because these guys saved me $650!!! And on top of that they did an amazing job that came with a great warranty. I’ve already told like 10 people to take their cars here. I’m happy that I found these guys!!

Twice I have found myself in need of repairs on my vehicles recently. These men are amazing. They listen to you, explain things in detail when needed, give options and dont make me feel stupid because I am not sure of the problem or name of part needed.
