I just went in to see if they had the expensive alma hair gloss that is on their website. They didnt have it, and thats ok. But the service I got was super rude. There was one person working in there, and when I asked if they had this gloss available to purchase, she looked at me like I had two heads. She was very unfriendly and condescending. Dont bother her, shes on her phone and they are only open for one more hour.Tried to buy it from their website earlier as well and it was super glitchy. Amazon is now my best friend.
Ocala really needs a stand alone Sephora. This store is always out of stock, employees can be rude and don’t bother returning anything it’s a long process since it’s technically a part of JCpenny. This store also doesn’t have much of the stock a regular Sephora has. All in all it could be better.

I mainly only come to Sephora in person to sample things and try perfumes. I do the majority of my purchasing online. My only complaint is that the inventory available is pretty small, so I can never actually sample the products Im the most excited to try.
Was generous and gave two stars cause the employees were nice. But the store is dirty the shelves are dirty and full of dust nothing is restocked and I wouldn’t be surprised if the makeup they do have is expired. So sad.
Went to this location for my friend to get color matched and waited in line 20 minutes(we were next in line this whole time) Was then asked to wait until she finished with others in line behind us before she could help us. I understand it was later in the day and she was the only one left working, but the waiting time was unacceptable. She laughed and chatted with the few people for another 25 minutes before we ended up leaving unsatisfied. My friend was never color matched.
This Sephora sucked soooo much different than my Ulta experience I was in Sephora for 15 minutes and was driven away because the staff kept asking me if I needed help with anything every 2 minutes. I love going shopping for make up I dont mind being asked if I needed help just not that many times by the same person in such a short amount of time, I mean theres makeup I want to try on before spending $50 to $60 on one product, its not the drugstore where if it doesnt work oh well onto something else Id rather go to Ulta its super calming and relaxing to the point its therepy to me I end up spending wayy more than I need to but wouldnt change it for the world
A very busy store with only two girls working. But the lady that was waiting on was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products she was selling.
I’ve been going to Sephora for decades now. I have been to many JCPenney Sephora stores but by far the JCPenney Sephora at the Paddock Mall in Ocala,FL was the WORST customer service I have received. I will never go back unless the Manager is changed and every person there gets a good class on customer service. And I am being kind with my words!
I have been coming in here at least every 2 weeks since they opened when I cant get to Gainesville and I have only had 2 BAD experiences. The first one, the manager would not accept my return on a travel size $15 primer because I did not have my receipt. IT WAS in their system on my account that i bought it a few days prior. BUT she said she wouldnt take the return because I have returned TOO MANY ITEMS? I NEVER return items? I was returning that item because I have an allergic reaction. Anyway, I took it to the Gainesville stand alone in the mall and they were happy to take my return without issue. The other thing was the sales associate would not sell me something that they had in stock. It showed both in stock online and in their system. But she refused to grab it out of the stock room without her manager who was not working that day. The Sephora policy is that they have to sell it if it is in stock. OTHER THAN those TWO times. my other 50000 visits have been great and they have been very kind. Dont step foot in there the week a FENTY item is released unless big crowds are your thing. Pro-tip, If they ask if you want help and you dont just blunty say no, and continue on your way. Be sure of yourself or some of them will feel that they are better than you. If you do want help, ASK BUT be very straight forward with what you want. If you want a sample of a foundation or something, grab it and take it to them and say I would like a sample of this please. You can request 3 samples when you go in, cool people give you more but 3 is the policy. Much love beauties. If you need help, hit me up and i will happily be your personal shopping buddy =-)

NEVER GO TO A JC PENNY SEPHORA AGAIN. ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. PURCHASED WHAT I CAME FOR AND THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEIR SYSTEM AND CARDS WERE BEING CHARGED BUT NOT SHOWING IT GOING THROUGH ON THIER END WHICH MEANS THEY WONT DO ANYTHING. SAID MONEY WILL BE ON CARD TOM. WELL I CAME TODAY AND YET I HAVE TO LEAVE WITH NONE OF THE PRODUCTS I CAME WITH. EVERY TIME THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS SEPHORA. IT NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT ANS OBVIOUSLY A NEW SYSTEM. TAKES FORVER IN LINES AND RARELY HAS ANYTHING YOU NEED. SO SO SO DISSAPPINTED!!!!

I have had over $ in gift cards to spend, but cannot get a Thank you !!!!, not having IT! Told the manager she tells me more than one way to thank a customer??? REALLY? No, Thank you, they are petty too and support one another, do not like this location at all !
I went to the location located inside of JC penny yesterday wanting to get color matched to the new foundation Fent. I stood around the same spot for a good 10 mins and not once did either of the 2 girls working there asked if I needed any help...no they were not busy I was the only one in there. I finally asked one of them to come help me...she did and told me that I would need to let the foundation sit for a minute and she went back to her conversation with her other coworker...so I waited and had to go get her AGAIN only for her to tell me they were sold out! I said okay asked when they may get some more she said she wasnt sure and proceeded to tell me that they were even sold out online....got home only to find out she had no idea what she was talking about! I am not from here so it took me an hour to get to this location for this product to be treated like I was being a nuacence. I am from Texas and both our stores inside Pennys and the stand alone cant do enough to help You! I will NEVER go back to this rude staff
