For all my alterations job I only go to Charlies. They did a good job and complete the job as promised.

Took my daughters prom dress in for a minor alteration and they completely ruined the dress and gave it back with food stains on it. They said they would not do anything about it. We had to buy a new dress the day of the prom. They have no clue how to run a business, I would look for other options. Zero stars.

Excellent work done fast. I brought in two pairs of pants that needed cuffs. They are very polite and friendly. I would strongly encourage others to utilize their services.

The alterations they have done for us have been great. You honestly can not tell where the changes have been made. The prices are very fair. They will give you free estimates, and are have even let us know when the prices out weigh the value of the items. Highly recommend!

The female owner has a terrible temper, screams at you in front of her minor kids for no reason other than her own life frustrations, and doesnt own up to her husbands mistakes when writing up an order. She nees some psychological help fast before she screams at the wrong customer. A course in basic English wouldnt hurt either, so the customers could at least understand why shes screaming, since shes quick to whisper to her kids in Chinese right in front of customers. Only reason theyre still in business is because Ocala has a handful of alteration places. Avoid at all cost.

Over the years they have most skillfully repaired a motorcycle seat, mermaid tail, and Tae Kwan Do belts! Super nice and just the best work!

Took daughters dress to be altered. Cost 112.00 looked good. I paid for eye hooks to be at back up zipper and under attatchment. 12.00 each they didnt do it or dicount the 24.00 that I paid to have done. Wont go back there. Cost more to have work done than what dressed cost and not get what you asked for

OVERPRICED, Rude and impatient. Save yourself frustration and money and go to Alterations Unlimited. They were charging me 150USD for getting two skirts hemd, and one of them taken in for my wife bridesmaids, just cause it was for a wedding. All of this after being rude, impatient, and with a loud voice, just because they could not understand me very well. Instead I went to Alterations Unlimited, which is about 7 minutes away, and they were very nice, helpful, they understood what I wanted done perfectly, and best of all, without saying anything, THEY CHARGED ME ALMOST HALF THE PRICE, 80USD total for THE EXACT, SAME JOB.

I read the reviews before bringing my clothes here. Great service for hemming my jeans and repairing broken zippers: as I do not own a sewing machine and live too far to call upon my grandmothers talent. I do recommend this place.

I took a pair of jeans to have a stich put in the stride of a pair of amazing $150 jeans ( I paid $30 at thrift shop ) They were in great condition. When I picked them up there were burn type acid like marks down the outside seam on both legs ! They now have holes and are literally falling apart at the seams ! I asked what had happened and they claimed no responsibility. It seems that they would have noted such damage b4 repair was done ? Really made me sad that they woyld not make their wrong right 😒

Not exactly friendly... expensive...Im not impressed. They wanted $35.00 for a simple tacking! It seemed unreasonable concidering the obvious simplicity of the task, so, I had my money returned upon the price quote. Thankfully, my step mother has a machine and fixed my $35 problem in 10mins. (Thanks mom)

Took my moms jeans and dropped them off to get a stitch in the stride. It was a 1 inch stitch that they charged $6 for and the bad part is when we got them back they had large acid like burns down the leg seams to the point where her $150 pair of jeans were literally falling apart. When i took them back in they tried to compare the wear to the bottom of them where there was slight damage and where it was falling apart literally has holes.. We will never go back there!!!!
