Wish I could give it 4 & a 1/2 stars, but we always enjoy going to Twistee Treat to wrap up an evening out. The lines are long, but they go quick. They have the option of drive thru if your not wanting to get out of your car. Their menu is limited, but what they do have is some great tasting ice cream with lots of topping that you can add. Theres usually some tables & benches to sit on to eat your treat! Whenever we head up to Central Florida, we always try to seek out this place! Even in the winter time! Id definitely recommend it. Be sure to get extra napkins! 🍦 🍨

Excellent Customer service, nice prices, lots of flavors to choose from, great toppings available.I went to Peach wave because it was closer to where I live the customer service was horrible. Thank you for putting a smile on my kids & father’s face.

I love, love coming here all the time!! Pistachio flavor is my favorite! Even my 3yr old loves this flavor. They are quick and get you out of the line super quick. So worth waiting. Friendly staff, but if you like REAL ice cream, dont come here. Pictures look nice on Google, but butter pecan is just flavored (not real). My wife said that here brownie Supreme (or whatever those things are called) wasnt that good either. It all seemed like flavored soft serve ice cream. Good price however, and friendly staff.

So yummy. I got the vanilla with cookie dough and my daughter got white chocolate with cookie dough and a waffle cone. The ice cream is smooth and delicious. The portions are good mine was a kiddie one and it was more than enough for me.

Boyfriend and I got two ice creams chocolate and chocolate and strawberry or strawberry freaking delicious. And the young ladies that were there very polite very friendly and really cute. But didnt have no pictures to take we can gobbled it up too fast

I wanted a strawberry cone but something was wrong with the mix. Instead of telling me it wouldn’t work (like other places would do), they actually mixed my strawberry flavor themselves! Not only did they go above and beyond to make a customer happy, it was also delicious! The experience made me so happy I thought I should share. Thank you so much!

The speaker is horrible can’t hear a thing and 20 minutes with one car in front of me to get the ice cream.? Do they go milk the cows to make their own ice cream because I just don’t understand how they can take that long to give you some ice cream!

In town for a little league tournament and drove past this shop. Had to stop. We had the very basic vanilla & chocolate swirl soft serve on a cone and LOVED IT. Delicious ice cream. Went back the next day for seconds. This is a must if you live in or travelling through Ocala.

Their deserts taste amazing! This was the first time we went here, so wasnt sure what to expect for ice cream. Figured it was just going to be like the cheap ice cream you get at Walmart. WRONG! Their ice cream tastes like good quality ice cream. Mine had melted peanut butter on top and Im pretty sure I died and went to heaven with it. My husband had a chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone and as someone whose very unimpressed with most things, he really enjoyed it himself. Its more expensive than ice cream youd get at like a McDonalds or something, but the quality and variety is so much better.

Always amazing soft serve!! My absolute favorite thing to get is a peanut butter ice cream brownie twirl!! Second favorite is just a classic vanilla cake cone! Definitely love going and I enjoy the fact theyre open all year round. I know some places close during the winter months, which is ironically when I want a good soft serve ice cream the most!

First time visit. Disappointed on the amount of ice cream was handed out on a large sunday. I thought it would have been a fuller cup and not just half a cup. But on the positive side, it was tasty.

Best ice cream and shakes around. Lots of of flavor options some almost exclusive to location IMO. Love that the have drive thru and can sit outside. Very mom and pop/old school vibe. It’s great for date night or to take the family.

Great place to get your ice cream

Super difficult to find parking with all the occupied meters around and like the 10 foot parking lot in front of the establishment. But the ice cream was definitely worth driving around to find a spot. Every like 5 minutes there was a birthday song going on and the place was bustling. Havent tried the food, but I would definitely come back.

Absolutely fantastic. I had a soft serve vanilla cake cone with butterscotch dip, & my wife had a soft serve vanilla waffle cone. Service was great & prices are fair. Pleasant view while sitting in our car, people & car watching, while savoring our sweets.

Theyre inconsistent sometimes, too much milk or too much ice cream. One day they will get the right amount of both and make the best milkshake ever.

The ice cream was absolutely amazing. I took my girlfriend to Twistiee Treat for Valentines Day and she loved it. The people were amazing and the Ice Cream was absolutely perfect. Couldnt have asked for anything better. I would definitely recommend to anyone I meet. The boy who took my order was super amazing too. Bryan was super nice and very friendly. The only serve soft serve ice cream. I ordered a small hot fudge sundae but it came with very little hot fudge. It was a small cup of vanilla soft serve ice cream with a tiny tiny bit of hot fudge. I took 3 bites and the hot fudge was gone so I threw the rest out

A good place for an ice cream treat

I find the ice cream taste better then Dairy Queen, and the prices are good too. Furring the summer this place is open all the time. Off months they open evenings and weekends to accommodate kids with school. Its located of RT. 200 in the same plaza as Hobby Lobby next to Taco Bell. This place has a drive through, out door limited seating, but plenty of parking.

I found this when I searched for Ice cream near my hotel and I am SO glad that I did! The soft serve ice cream is some of the best I’ve ever had and the staff are always very friendly and the line moves quickly! Very cute building shaped like an ice cream cone! Have gone here every day for the past 9 days! It’s so good!

However, flavors are really good and consistent, the ice cream makes it all the way to the bottom of each cone, and prices are normal for the area. A rewards program exists for frequent goers, where $3 is given for every $30 spent.
