The gal that took care of renting a unit for me was excellent. She was informative extremely helpful and very sweet. I would recommend Public Storage to everyone.

Today I had the great pleasure of dealing with Joline at the 2110 NE 36th Ave., Ocala location. Even though she did not have rental space at her location, she took the time to straighten out my online order and found me 2 units at her sister location down the street. She took the time to network with Teresa at the Lake Mary FL location to get my units rented to me. Wish everyone took the time to help their neighbor as she did.

Excellent service. Janet was extremely helpful. We are from Ohio and getting ready to move to Florida and needing a large storage unit. We called and spoke to Janet and she assured us if something came up she would call us. Sure enough a a week or so later we received a call and she set us up with the exact size unit we were looking for. Janet was extremely helpful and we couldnt be happier. Great customer service!!

Jolene was awesome. My initial rental unit was too small so after speaking with Janet I was able to get a larger unit. I came in last minute (of the work day, the employees day. Not in my schedule) and I have to say Janet and Lamar were quick and efficient . I began renting from this property in summer of 2020 and have been with them ever since. The facility and units are always clean, and Lamar and Janet are always willing to help in any way they can-- they provide some of the best customer service I have ever seen! Janet Lamar was excellent..I have been ill and she called us and said an air condition unit was opening up and we went right over. She helped moved our items from one storage unit to another. I didnt have the strength to lift anything and she made me sit down and she helped my husband.. She was awesome.

Great customer service! Lamar is very knowledgable and professional. Mr. Randy (Trainee) has a great potencial to become an excellent customer rep. Working at a front desk is NOT as easy and simple as it appear when you have a customer in front of you asking questions while you are entering all the requiered information accurately to complete a transaction. I have being in the other side of the counter and know what I am talking about. He stayed calm and focused, answered all my questions and finish the process well with the awsome assistant of Mr. Lamar which is a great trainer by the way. Units are clean and easy to access. Overall my experience was a 5 stars.

Moved into Florida and had to store our belongings. A huge truck was bringing our belongings that we needed a storage space closer to the entrance so the truck could fit and not block the path for others. Patricia was very helpful and accommodating to help us to switch to a closer space. We had reserved our spot before we moved and the space was towards the back. It wouldve been difficult for the truck to come in without blocking the path for others. I recommend this Public storage. Thank you for making our moving a less stressful event.

It is easy to get in and out. I have gone a few times and the lights inside didnt come on or just werent turned on. That could be dangerous when your visiting your unit alone.

I always use neighbor hood storage, they are clean and have critter control. Most have insulated roofs as well. Look into booking on line, you can get a discount. Prices vary location. Check them out

Needed a document from corporate ASAP and called the local office for the #. Jolene was really helpful & pleasant, got me the info I needed quickly too! Plus the facility is always clean and feels safe. Been my go to storage for years.

My sister rendered Public Storage when she moved from Tennessee down here to Florida she rented 1 in Ocala and then she had to rent another one in Summerfield because she had so much stuff it wouldnt fit all in one she needed to get rid of more it took two truckloads to get her move down here and shes finally got it moved out of storage

The beautiful young lady jennifer was amazing. Very helpful and nice every person should be more like her. I had horrible experience with other employees but i highly recommend renting here. They actually care for their customers and i appreciate that.

Pleasant, easy, and smooth transaction process. Literally found it online and called. The ladies in the office were great with working with me and scheduling a convenient time for me to come in and look at the space. I was running behind my scheduled appointed time and called to let Melissa know.. and she was understanding.. when I arrived she got me situated immediately. She was very helpful, personable, and kind. The property was clean. Staff was professional..I wont be using the storage for long but Melissa made the experience great. I would go back just to talk to her! 😂😂 Maria was very nice as well... however I dealt personally with Melissa!

Definitely 5 stars. When I made the reservation I was promptly contacted by the property manager, Melissa, just to introduce herself. it made me feel welcomed. During my appointment the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are very clean and I feel satisfied with their security measures. A wonderful experience!

Omg! Thank goodness that Melissa caught the fact that my geographic information was not current in the computer. She was smart enough to ask even though I have been coming in for a year to make my payments in person. No body else had thought to do so. Kudos for hiring such a conscientious employee. I also enjoyed the fact that she accessorized with her work uniform. This is someone who takes pride in what they do! I am happy to be a part of the Public Storage family.

Ive had a storage unit for about a year and 6 months. Melissa help me get started and closed out the account today. She was very pleasant and professional. Overall a great experience. I would go back A+++.

Melissa and Mo are the best! They helped me with everything I had questions about, which was pretty much everything since Ive never had a storage unit before, and they were very patient, thorough, fast and efficient. Although they offered the upsales, they did not force unwanted charges on me. Excluding the rental insurance, which I did not know about and is required, I didnt have to pay any other charges I didnt know about, and I got a very good deal by booking it online. The whole process was made super easy for me, and I was shown how to do everything and where everything was. Im very pleased with the service I received here, and feel that the prices are fair, the units are nice, and the staff is amazing.

I’ve always had positive attitudes with public storage locations, but this specific site manager, Vanessa, is amazing and has a very sweet personality. She was very helpful during the whole process of getting a storage unit set up and going through the lease agreement. She has an exceptional customer service attitude and I would highly recommend this location to anyone in Ocala area.

They are having a special 1st month for a $1.00! Pulled up and was greeted with a smile, very friendly atmosphere. There are super knowledgeable and answered all my questions, even got a tour on a golf cart. The area is clean and only way in is though a locked gate and the hours are amazing 6 am to 9 pm! Also the storage units are up on a curb and they have a downgrade slope to keep water out. Everything you need to move they have, this place is highly recommended!

The day our furniture arrived for the climate control storage area, Dale was there and went out of his way to help us in any and every way. I would highly recommend this storage facility.

Kass was very helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything to us and made sure everything was just what we needed. Only thing I would have preferred was if the full pricing was explained up front (monthly fee + insurance). Even with those fees it is still a good deal.

Gloria was the first person I met here she made everything very easy walked me through the process and answered everything I ask about then she should me the unit and made sure it was the right one because she said their is nothing like having the wrong unit she help decide witch one that would make my moving the best it can be very courteous

They have a $1 for first month rent special but when you get there they drop a load of extra fees such as requiring to buy their $20 lock even if you do not want to use it, you must have some sort of off site insurance and if you dont its another $15 a month for their minor insurance that doesnt cover all that much when you read into it. We are unable to do anything with this lock after using it because it is so specific it has no use but to go to another public storage.

Staff was excellent but company has bad business practices. Ropes you in with the $1 special then tags on extra fees like mandatory insurance and required proprietary locks. $1 ended up costing me $70.

Both Rosemary and Melissa made my experience of renting a unit a very welcoming one....both went beyond their call of duty to assist in every way possible. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend Public Storage as well as Rosemary and Melissa. My experience was a very positive one thanks to both the above-mentioned Public Storage employees.

Melissa waited for us when it mattered to us the most. It was closing time and she worked with us after hours to help us out in our emergency. She was patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends and let them know to ask for MELISSA!!! If there was anyone that deserved a promotion or a raise, it would be MELISSA. Excellent customer service. I forgot to get the woman name but she was funny and sweet. And the prices are affordable.

My RV received over $1000 worth of damage (Geico estimate) from a hit and run while being stored at this facility (see attached pics). I immediately reported it to the staff on 10-2-19 and asked them repeatedly to please review their surveillance video to see who the offender was so I could report this criminal offence to police. They just blew me off and said they would do an incident report and look into it and that I should just report it to my insurance. They never contacted me after that.I returned on 10-10-19 to take my RV to the body shop to have this damage repaired and asked them if they had reviewed the surveillance video and was told no, it has been down a while. We have a work order in to get it fixed, and am not sure when that will be. I am not sure if this is true, or they were just blowing me off again.BTW, if they ever get their video surveillance system repaired, they will see that there was absolutely NO DAMAGE to my RV the last time I returned it to their facility. They have the time stamped video recorded from when I entered my access code to prove it.Here is the deal folks! If you park a boat, RV, trailer, etc. at Public Storage, you are doing so AT YOUR OWN RISK (read your contract!). Do not expect ANY assistance from the staff if your property is damaged or stolen. You are basically left on your own to deal with it. Make sure that your insurance covers storage facilities. This cost me $500 out of my pocket (my insurance deductible) and 3 days of my time so far to file claims, get estimates and get my RV repaired (still in the shop). I expected much better security and customer service from a larger self-storage chain like Public Storage.Update: On 10-11-19, 9 days after reporting this incident (and within 24 hours of me posting this review!), someone who identified himself as Kaleb from Public Storage corporate contacted me. Funny how corporate didnt give a darn about the $1000+ damage to my RV and the criminal hit and run that took place at their facility. However, post an HONEST, negative review on Google and they will contact you right away! Go figure! Lol I will post any more updates (good or bad)!
