BEWARE!!! These guys absolutely do not know what they are doing. I took my classic car to them to hang the doors and they mounted the hinges backwards so the door opens less than 40%. They refused to fix it and would not refund my money. Now I am being forced to take them to small claims court to recover my money. Buyer beware, they are not to be trusted with custom work.

Took my car in for convertible top. The installed it wrong and then blame me. They installed it 3 inches too short so I cant close the top. It is hit and miss with these folks. They refused to make it right.. When they worked on my brakes, they hung up on my way home and overheated ..

I had been meaning to get my drivers seat reupholstered for quite some time, but had kept putting it off as I thought it would be an expensive hassle. Everyone there is really: professional, courteous, knowledgeable, caring about my needs and concerns, and in making me feel like my car was the only car they were working on; even though they were always overflowing with clients cars. They always gave me reasonable time frames for completion and achieved them. I requested a deadline for completion one time due to a special circumstance and they pulled it off. They have proven to be equally masterful in customizing, as they are in engineering. The airbag system in my rare 1962 Lincoln is amazing. They used all top grade to ensure I would not fall victim to problems like others have had from other companies who cut corners on product quality. They have also successfully completed other projects of restoration and fixed properly some other various problems that my car incurred from another substandard company.

I had my drivers side seat repaired here. I would say it was worth the price for what they did as well as it was a same day turnaround. It is best to visit this location for work between Wednesday through Saturday. I visited Sarurday morning first thing to give them enough time to complete this project. I am happy with that took place and tempted to have other projects completed here.

Recently something flew at my car on the freeway hitting the right front side. Once I got home I assessed the damage and saw that there were some scratches and my headlight was cracked. Once I contacted my insurance I then took my car into SOS for collision repair. Saul and Oscar were very helpful and had great communication with us throughout this whole COVID pandemic. They contacted my insurance, sent them photos and facetimed them. They were very thorough when examining over the car. Insurance wanted to simply patch up the dents and scratches on my bumper. Saul felt that that was wrong as the car isn’t even 1 year old and vouched and fought for us to get a new bumper. SOS truly produced amazing work. My car looks better than it did going in, and honestly even better than when I bought it. If you’re located anywhere in Southern California do not hesitate coming to SOS. I promise you, you will not regret it. I’ve never been more in love with my car, it’s all in the small details and SOS gets that.

Theyve always preformed the work within the timeframe theyve promised, always offered affordable pricing, provided me options when i couldnt afford all the work that i wanted done, and most of all kept me in the loop the entire time my car was in their hands. Looks are deceiving, I brought my car in Bc my clutch gave out. Bc I had the cash I decided to do a bunch of upgrades I really wanted, pulley swap, headers, tune, sound system. Well the pulley snapped... twice. The headers Were the wrong headers. And the sound system gave out on me twice, I only brought it to them for the issue once. The rear dif bushings gave out (not their fault) so I brought it to them. Well once I got it back 6th gear didn’t work. After spending over 12k on these clowns I had a friend who builds cars look at my clutch he told me there were a bunch of screws in the clutch missing. So he called them and they said I went to another shop and had other people work on my transmission NEVER HAPPENED. When people see the SOS customz stickers on my car (that I need to remove) they give me a sigh and already know they messed up my car. They buy eBay parts that break and don’t fit I found that out when I replaced the pulley myself the 2nd time it snapped. This was my first experience with a mechanic and I will never trust another mechanic because of this place. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL costs.

Cut corners on a 67 Impala restoration to a degree I have to actually undo what little work they did, and the shop had it for 8 months longer than estimated. Over sewn seams, peeling vinyl, installed wrong parts, lost OEM parts, failed to install parts... The list is long. Every corner that could be cut, was cut. Every detail that could be left off the list, was left off the list. Worst part? Zero communication and they left every flaw for me to find. Do not take a vehicle you love to this shop. Horrible horrible experience that leaves me sick to my stomach. The quality of work is keeping my car in the garage, its too embarrassing to take her anywhere in this condition.

SOS is THE go to shop in Southern California! I had a huge project and vision for my 1991 Honda NSX. SOS took on my idea and absolutely killed it! They customly molded a front bumper that wasn’t made for my front end but made it work, it looks so good it looks like the bumper was made for my front end. Not to mention, they installed a whole new body kit AND repainted my whole car within a month!I also recommend them for reupholstery! Finding floor mats for my RHD NSX is very difficult. So what SOS did for me was they made brand new floor mats using my old floor mats as a template. Once again, they did a stellar job.SOS Customz will always be my go to and I highly recommend this shop. The workers are always welcoming and provide the best customer service.Thanks again for the hard work SOS Customz!!

I would not trust my car with any other shop! I went on the SOS customz website and found a lot of impressive pictures of work that had been done so I figured Id check them out. I went in and got a quick and very reasonable quote, and within one week my car was done! I had some interor work done and my bumper and paint repaired. The work done was very professional and the staff were so friendly!

Best body shop in north county

I was recently in a pretty bad car accident ( my first :( ) and they took off the entire corner of my car... my bumper was tore up head light was smashed into my hood and, well my hood was pushed up .. and so on... i was referred to SOS CUSTOMZ of Oceanside by a mutual friend after asking for a legit good body shop that doesnt try to fix something thats not broken.( you know what i mean the ones that rip off people) And he gave me the number to SOS... I had no idea what a GREAT place this truly was, the person i worked closely with was Saul ... one of the owners sons... from the beginning he was sooo nice and offered to help me any way he could, from the payment,to my rental situation (he let me keep my rental there when i picked up,even went back n got a few things i forgot inside) to genuinely caring for my satisfaction . I went through my insurance due to all the fancy insurance business and was charged the deductible... :( BUT after meeting with Saul and telling him all of my situation, he was willing to work with me through the entire process. when i left my car with SOS, ill admit my car was .. a Lil messy to say the least ( I HAVE 2 KIDS.. AND IT WAS MID WEEK) the crew cleaned the inside for me :D vacuumed and finished with a new paint job on top of of course fixing alll the damage to my car. My car looks BRAND NEW i was soooo Happy to see my car look so good again !!!! I am recommending every single person to SOS... the people are great, i even had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was also such a beautiful person down to her soul :) and the finished work is superb... i honestly couldnt ask for anything more from a auto repair...

My son was in need of a new truck bed, the insurance company quoted us 4000.00. There was no way that was happening so I told him to go on craigslist we ended up finding SOS custumz they had a bed that was slightly dented we called and they told us they could do everything under 1000.00 we just got the bed back and its perfect my son is so happy with the bed they took out the dents and painted it the same color us the truck and the paint matches !!! I highly recommend SOS custumz.......
