I was from out of town and needed a windshield replacement. I set an appointment to have it replaced at the Safelite in Oceanside. When I arrived for my appointment about 30 minutes later they told me they had not picked up my windshield and that I would need to come back the next day. No big deal, it was fine. I showed up the next day and had the windshield replaced and the safety features recalibrated. The next day I traveled to Tacoma, WA and during the trip I realized none of my safety features were working. Once I arrived to Tacoma I took it to the Volkswagen dealer who informed me that Safelite had installed the wrong windshield. I went to the Safelite in my area that confirmed the Safelite in Oceanside installed the wrong windshield. Even more concerning they told me that the technician who configured my safety settings 100% would have known they installed the wrong windshield and that my safety features would not work. Unacceptably unsafe to allow me to drive off knowing I had the wrong windshield. Never using Safelite again.

Cant even get a real person on their answering machine hell. I have a question about my particular problem but cant get answers.Decided to give my business to a local company with better customer service.

This was my first experience with safelite and it was perfectly easy. Used the app to make the appointment, Ezekiel was fantastic on time and Covid compliant. He explained everything to me and made sure my sons windshield was ready to go to college.

Worst experience ever. I dropped the car at 8:30, and I was told it would take 2-3 hours max. We will call you as soon as its done. I picked the 8:30 am schedule since I have to pick up the kids from school at 12:30 to give me enough time to make sure I can pick them up. Also, please note that they are 20 min away, and I had to coordinate for someone to pick me up at 8:30 and drop me back off at their place to pick up my car. I heard nothing for three and a half hours, so I try to call them. After 10 min with their horrible (the worst) automated machines, it finally says it will transfer me to a human bean, then it rings and hangs up on me. It took an hour to find the shops actual true number. Now its 4+ hours from my drop-off time. They answer and say they have not started working on my car yet and that it will be ready in the afternoon after the staff is back from their break.Bottom line honestly, they should think of spending their advertisement ad budget money on their staff customer service training instead.After all this, I never get an apology or even recognition that they messed up. I had to uber to and from kids school and to their shop at the end of the day once they finally finished.I never leave a bad review, but these guys ticked me off.

Michael was very nice and professional. He called me with a time of arrival estimate, called when he arrived whichwas in the exact time frame he said and because of how close I lived to the shop he drove my car back to me (l didnt even ask). I am beyond happy with my new windshield. Thanks Michael! Highly recommend Safelite!!

Awesome Service!!! Went in due to the seal on my windshield coming off while driving in the highway. The Tech suggested gluing it down to which I agreed. At the end of the job only some glue was used and about ten minutes of labor. But the best part was there was no charge. This is the second time I use Sefelite and I will continue to use and recommend them every time! Thank You Safelite.

I cant even describe how mad i am. Ive had to reschedule my window replacement 5 times so far. Everytime, they say they have the window, but when the day comes for my work to be done, i get a call saying they dont have it. This has gone too far. I dont know how they can falsely say they have my window this many times.👎👎👎

Excellent service, the technicians were pretty quick on the replacement of my windshield and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating.

Called to ask about AAA discount offered on the phone I was told it would be 10% after the work was done only 5% was honored. Disappointed with the honesty, I could have gone to a different location where the 10% was honored.

I had SAG come to me and repair my windshield on a 2018 Kia Optima. Fernando was my technician and was very professional and did a really good job. Worked with me and my insurance and was very knowledgable over the process of coverage and windshield repair.

I used safelite in Nevada when the heat cracked my window. They did a great job. Again in SD car window cracked from a rock hitting my front window.

What should have taken a few days, took weeks. First, the warehouse lost the windshield. Cant elaborate more, doesnt seem they even know what happened there. Then a week later I had a windshield installed..Only to notice the windshield didnt look right, had some major flaws in the design ( OEM factory glass). Finally after another week of waiting for yet another windshield, all was good. The techs are the only reason they get more stars than 1, those guys were great and understanding of the issues.

I had my windshield replaced by Safelite and was pleased with the process. They were informative as the process was being done and really professional. The only reason why I didnt give them 5 stars was due to the wiper arms not being installed correctly. The passenger side was installed on the driver side and vice versa. Under the wiper arms its labeled driver and passenger. I went ahead and corrected this myself.

We had an amazing experience! Our technician was Jordan Garza. He was super professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient. We have a Honda Pilot and the replacement of our windshield took Jordan less than an hour. He was very friendly and provided 5 star service from the moment we walked in the door. It looks Amazing. Got my car back when they said with the new windshield installed and eyesight calibration complete.

The staff here is honest and does awemazing work. I had a chip in my windshield repaired here a couple months ago and went back today because of another chip that I thought needed to be fixed (its very tiny). Rick looked at it and explained why it doesnt need to be repaired and didnt want to do unnecessary work. I cannot recommend this Safelite location enough because of not only their great work, but how honest their staff is which is very much appreciated.

The guys were able to take me a little early. They were professional and polite...very professional and polite. One was in training and he did a very solid/good job! I would easily come back again (although I hope I dont need to any time soon) and I will recommend Safelite.

Everyone here was so nice, and solved my issue so simply and quickly.

I just want to say the Safelite company did well by me! I was greeted by a very friendly young man who replaced my windshield and unfortunate damage was done at no fault to the installer or company (things happen) but it was already handled by the installer through his boss Jacoby Clark. They offered two solutions and without any hesitation they came through and handled fixing the damage. I once again have to say it was a freak damage but Safelite without hesitation took control of fixing it. I am so very pleased and will continue to speak nothing but praise.

The first time I went there for a pinhead-sized chip about 8 inches away from the edge. It was free to repair through insurance, but Rick performed a failed repair, cracking the glass all the way through running along the entire windshield. Two stars because I had to come back to pay 375 for a new windshield because of a failed repair. Also, after already providing them with a work order number (complete with a discounted quote), they decided to issue a new work order (behind my back, after setting up the appointment) and tried to charge more for the replacement. The only reason the second star is awarded is because Ariana (from Central - on the phone) was so friendly and cordial about fixing the matter. I will be looking for other service providers and not go through Geico recommended providers next time.

Overpriced and overrated. There are many trusted shops in the area that offer a way better price and guarantee. The ad campaigns will make you want to utilize their service but its not worth it. Also, to just get a quite, they want all your information first. They are not going to just search a database for what is needed for a vehicle. Also, they use a local dealer somewhere to acquire a glass they dont have and calculate their profit. If you use your insurance if the damage is that bad, they will charge you more.

Friendly, fast and they do good quality work. Would definitely recommend.

This safelite location attempted to repair a star chip near the edge of my windshield. While they were not successful and the result was that the star expanded, the tech who was helping me was very clear about the likelyhood of a successful repair so I dont feel like I was blindsided. I had an appointment and I showed up 5 minutes early to be sure I would be on time, but I was not helped until 20 minutes after my appointment time, so 1 star off for that. Excellent, quick service once they got to me.

Staff was friendly and the work was done correctly. What more to ask for?I had three rock chips and a crack in my front windshield. All of which took roughly an hour and a half to repair.

I would rate zero if I could.Satellite has horrible customer service!They damaged my car while replacing window. They pulled down the roof cover too much and replaced with non original after market windshield. They do not respect their warranty. I have called more than 25x and customer service keeps ignoring my calls and hanging up on me. DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!
