Went in to buy some boots. Experienced great customer service and advise on different products to fit my needs. My wife liked the boots so much that we ordered some online for her. Great store, great company! Will definitely buy from here again and again.

Good clothes and helpful staff always informing with new sales and items. They are lacking on the smaller womens sizes though. My husband has a great pair of sneaker boots, and I was disappointed they dont carry anything smaller than 6. Im a size 4 and find it hard for most places so I wont count it against them.

Love this store. I want to buy almost everything even if I dont need it but just in case of some zombie apocalypse I can find a way to justify it all 😀

A great store with some really excellent people running it. The clothes and equipment speak for themselves as some of the finest in tactical equipment that regular, non military can get there hands on. But it is the people who really make this store stand out from their San Diego location. If you ARE military, veteran, leo or a 1st responder, they appreciate your service and you are treated with respect and a smile...and maybe a joke or two. Just a great tactical clothing store and brand.

Love this store. They always carry great clothing line. Also it carries Black Rifle Coffee if you need to restock on Coffee.

The store is large and packed with merchandise, much more so than I was expecting. The staff was attentive and asked as soon as I walked in if I needed assistance after greeting me. The products are very well organized and easy to locate, The dressing rooms are very spacious and allow you to take a few steps to really get a feel for the cloths (especially pants). They had all the products you would be looking for including; pants, shirts, shoes. socks, accessories, carriers, backpacks and pouches. Overall a pleasant experience and one I will return to in the future.

Walked in and was immediately assisted by staff. Was able to try on my purchases to ensure proper fit. “Doc” was very welcoming, friendly, and educated about the products. Next time I need something from 5.11 I’m way more likely to drive the hour to this store versus ordering online, simply because of the great experience I had.

Worked with them over the course of a month of get a womens boot that is completely out and got me a new set manufactured in 5 days and called me. They even made sure it was picked up in my name when my partner went in my place! I worked with multiple employees and everyone was outstanding.

Well lets start with the staff, Windy went above and beyond her duty of whats expected for retail personnel. She was attentive, answered all of our questions with knowledgeable answers, and was extremely friendly. Overall the staff at this vista 5.11 location was great! The store was tidey and well stocked, especially in comparison to other so cal locations. If you are in need of tactical gear or clothing i highly recommend giving this location your business. On a side note i love my new waterproof soft shell Aurora jacket.

Is everything at 5.11Tactical is outstanding, the clothing is top notch, the people are grea, and besides, right next to 5.11, if you want to take out a few exciting minutes of your life to enjoy, do some indoor skydiving. Its off the 78, east of El Camino Real on the north side of the freeway. You cant miss it! GO, THATS AN ORDER! :- )

The guy who runs this place is awesom, I believe he goes by Doc.. Always has a great demeanor, and has relatable storys. Not to mention he has a ton of knowledge, the man is a asset to the 5.11 store.. I prefer this store over the SD one because he is great.. The selection is good here for tactical gear, but not great.. The knife selection is good, I came in to check out Houge branded knives, which they are the only ones that carry them, wish they had more styles..

Visiting with my daughter, excited store was next to our hotel. Have one in Arizona. Asked to look at sunglasses and the salesman was condescending and rude. Totally unexpected behavior.

This is the only 5.11 store front I shop at. I travel to the San Diego area once a year for vacation only to bypass the Phoenix location... The Market in Phoenix is hot for 5.11 products, if they hadnt put the PHX 5.11 store in the ghetto, it would be more successful and Id shop there.
