Luke in Framing deserves a shout out. The attention to detail and expertise is bar none. Whenever I need something framed, Hobby Lobby is the first store to come to mind due to Lukes creative ideas and professionalism. Thank you very much for your help for my many projects I have brought in.

Hobby lobby is the greatest treasure trove for someone crafty like me. I have spent hours just browsing through every isle. Workers are friendly and helpful while still giving you space to shop at your leisure. Hobby lobby Never ceases to amaze me with the selection they offer. Hobby lobby is and always be the place for me to go for any crafting/hobby/diy need.

Besides having everything under the sun one would want AND at phenomenal prices, it also a great place for reunions with old friends!

Not a huge fan of this store. It is big, they have a lot of stuff for home and art, but they are expensive and the quality of the items are cheap. It would be better to shop at thrift stores for cheaper and better quality stuff. I got a gift card so I used it on snacks, a greeting card, and a journal.

Simply an amazing place to shop from home decorations to furniture, and almost anything you can think of. This store is truly an experience store. We bought a few items such as a small decorative doll, some chocolate, and a throw pillow. There is so much more and the things you can buy never end. Love this place.

I have been shopping at hobby lobby store for a long time and was very excited when they open the Oceanside location, I go there with my teenage daughter who loves to do arts and craft and the past three times hobby lobby employees are chasing her down the aisle and today the manager was asking her if she stole something, this place is now horrible and I will never go there, The poor girl was shaking and got nervous and felt like she did something wrong when she did not because the way she was asked was very very wrong, I recommend you not go there if you have teenage kids that go with you because they will accuse them of stealing even though they’re just shopping and looking at Arts and craft stuff, we will be definitely taking our business to Michaels and never go there again.

Store is Super Clean and organized, one of my favorite stores.

I also think that it’s really awesome how they’re closed in Sunday’s, even though I always find it inconvenient, I do think that it’s really important to have one day to rest.Even if you’re new to crafting Hobby Lobby has so many simple, awesome things to make. It is sad that Hobby Lobby no longer blesses the military artist or crafter. And the termination of the 40% discount is sad to be gone as well. Only the same items that very few desire are discounted but for the other items you are paying full price or more than market value. I like hobby lobby..it is to bad they are turning away from consistent service for our Military and veterans. For that reason 1 star is more than fair.

Assistant Manager Greg sees no problem with humiliating innocent customers by publicly accusing them of being shoplifters and removing them from the store. He claimed to have evidence of past infractions but would/could not provide it after multiple requests by the accused party and even refused to check their IDS when offered. Calls to the store after the incident as well as corporate resulted in zero help or an apology. These people were left shaken and humiliated and only wanted an apology but Greg has doubled down on his accusation and refuses. HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I don’t steal yet every time I go in there no matter what size my purse is they follow me around. Maybe cause I always have both my hands full of clearance items that makes them profile me. Not sure but it’s annoying af. This visit It bothered me so much that I just started to follow them from aisle to aisle. AtOne point it looked like the employee and myself were performing Ring Around the Roses around a four-way fixture. Quite the retail dance. But in the end I need those $80 in clearance stickers and they need my money so I keep going back. 😍

Worst experience ever ASSISTANT MANAGER GREG accused my girlfriend and I of stealing previously and claimed hes kicked us out and told not comeback. I denied the claim and offered to show him ID and asked him to please review the camera. He claim that he doesnt have to check the cameras for me and that he doesnt need my ID because he knows were thieves. This man publicly humiliated us. He refused to even confirm that it was us. MOST DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE EVER. My girlfriend was shaken and started crying.

5 star review for Amanda in the frame department. My wife and I came in this evening 10/9 with two pieces of art we really cherish. We have no experience with framing and the options are overwhelming but Amanda has a natural talent at it, not to mention the ability to put anxious customers at ease. She spent nearly an hour with us helping us come to our final choices for each piece of art and we couldn’t be more excited to see the finished products. She did not try to upsell or rush us along at any point. Amanda is a real star and could open a store of her own based on her superior customer service alone. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I am pretty sure this is the biggest Hobby Lobby in San Diego County! It has more than the La Mesa Hobby Lobby. I give this store a 3 star because the only negative experience we had was the checkout. 2 Lanes open. A manager that just staring at her cashiers as if they should be ringing faster. Its amazing how a great shopping experience can go from 5 star to a negative check out experience. Other than being closed on Sundays. The store is nice and stocked. Clean aisles and restrooms. When you make eye contact with any employee they great you with a sincere personal greeting. Even though it took quite some time to check out with only 2 items in hand. The cashier was still polite. Just surprised that only two lanes were open. Knowing customers are huffing. You would figure they would call back up. All the customers behind us were patient. But it got to a point we were all looking at each other as maybe we should leave the product and leave. If they fix this, the store would definitely meet 5 stars. It wont stop me from shopping here though! So I am crossing my fingers they get better!*UPDATE 5/6/19They still lack in help when it comes to long lines. As other retailers they have walkie talkie to call for backup. Disappointing. I still have love for hobby lobby. I would love to see an improvement.*UP UPDATE 2/12/21There biggest struggle is cashiers. Still long lines with no urgency to help long lines. Drop down to a 1 star. Sad.

Love all the different ideas, and sections. The store is very organized, clean to be so large and busy. There arent a lot of checkout lanes open which makes for long lines, slow cashiers who seem tired, grouchy, emotionless. Some items seemed over priced.
