Live this Oceanside store and the Encinitas one. People are great, very helpful, especially Oceanside. I bought a coffee flavored protein powder called Vega Protein & Energy. I would love to know if any store within 60 miles has any left, I will drive to get. Thank you!

I just moved up here again after a few years from San Diego. I am familiar with the store. Its a very good store, but like the person before me said, they dont enforce the 6 foot distance rule. As I am a senior, that leaves me out of my favorite store! Thats too bad. Im still giving you a 4 star rating because its not all your fault.

Good variety of groceries. Not organic but super reasonable prices. Fun gadgets for the house hold too

Hard to give this place anything but three stars and thats the fact shelves are always stocked well,any items have multiple choices, the fruit and veggie section and the promo items they have from time to time. What prevents location from receiving five stars is that theyre ALWAYS busy and yet are constantly short checkers. If you arrive when they open youre good. Always satisfied with my purchases so thats s plus to them as well.

I come to the 99 cent store all the time its my favorite place to shop its only like a quarter of a mile away from my house toemployees are really really friendly they help you find anything you need answer any question they really go out of their way to help you the chicken or cashier named Pam has waited on me several times she is just the ultimate of friendliness anyways security guard is easy hes the bomb Ive been coming to the 99 cent store since they open and Ill be coming until they close you know anyway my hats off to you tonight cent store in the management are the bomb to although I cant remember her name Sandra I just found out anyway thats it for today

Great prices, but if there is a problem, forget it. They treat you like a criminal, youre guilty until proven innocent. If something is mismarked, they will do their best to cover their ass. Disagree with a price? Forget it. Try to return something? No way... Find a line that moves quickly? Not a chance in hell.

The store wasnt that crowded, but people dont respect the distance and also it was only one cashier open., I will like if its possible to have more cashiers available, in that way we have less time in the store to minimize the exposure of viruses.

Good selection with FRESH FRUIT! I love coming here. Most of the items are 99 cents but a few are more or less. I highly recommend this store! 😊

You guys are the best store to walk around in when Im bored. I come in for something simple like a giant sack of pens or a mini can of monster, but then I leave with a whole basket full of things. I tell myself its just a dollar so its okay to get a few things, but then I realize........ its actually just 99¢ love you.

Busy little store.Sherry found what she needed quickly

I walked into the store and was doing a dance from having to pee so badly. The chicks at checkout said they would let me in the bathroom and used the loudspeaker. Then I waited for almost 10 minutes but they just stood there talking. I had to leave and use a different store which is pretty ridiculous. This place is constantly swarmed by homeless people asking for money and playing loud music so the atmosphere is sketchy. Then you got these lazy af employees who cant even be bothered to walk to the back of the store. Definitely not coming back to this location.

Okay selection, fresh produce. Quite a few items more than 99 cents, so need to look at prices. Anyway, good store.

Good 99 cent store. Has a great selection of grocery items. Usually able to find everything I normally need and no longer need to go to the Wal Mart next door for groceries.

Its in a bad part of town and in a dismal parking lot, but the staff is always so polite, so friendly, so refreshing. This store seems to know how to hire good staff. Keep it up 99 Cents.

Wow! Great prices if your not wanting to spend the higher prices for the same thing at wally world! They dont have EVERYTHING... but enough to fill the grocery cart

I find it very frustrating that when I need help with finding something the only employee on the ffloor dont speak English; therefore a few times Ive had to have shoppers translate for me. Also, many times while shopping other shoppers and I have to try to clash and go around workers who are blocking the the aisles leisurely talking amongst themselves (of course there are there when you dont need their assistance). I found the quality and quantity of the merchandize very satisfying. Thats why I continue to shop there, and the location is in a great area. I will be checking my review to see if I receive a comment that shows you care about my rating and review.

I GAVE THEM 3 STARS TOOK IT BACK THEY GET (1 STAR) AFTER I CHECKED MY RECEIPT..THEY HAVE $1.99 APPLES WITH YELLOW LABEL THE OTHERS ARE NOT MARKED WITH 1.99 OR ANYTHING SO $.99 CENTS RIGHT..DO I SPEND TIME AND 7 BUCKS OF GAS TO GET THIS FIXED.OR WILL THEY SAY THEY ARE 1.99$ MAKING MY EXPENSE IN TIME AND GAS HIGHER...I DO NOW RECALL ATTITUDE TRYING TO EX CHANGE SOMETHING THAT WAS OPEN. WHAT YEAR IS THIS WITH ALL THE TECHNOLGY AND TRACKING...HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE LOST MONEY BECAUSE OF THIS SCAM JUST ON APPLES??? SEE IMAGES OF COMPLAINT.. Biggest drawback is the name of the store name they are not 99 cents only they charge more for other things so pay attention. Some things actually you pay more for than at Walmart next door like certain soups, rice and candy etc. Employees usually good hearted mostly and dont expect much from them but what do you expect from somebody whos dealing with a lot of people all day long that work them to the Bone hope theyre getting paid better than fair wages for all the chaos that walks through every minute. Store seems cleaner now then the beginning more organized but theyre reducing the size of the products not selling the big store items at a cheaper price always. You can find some deals in there but do your best to price things on the outside fruit and stuff like that in most cases seemed like a good deal but I havent really kept an eye bigger grocery store prices. You can however without breaking the bank at 20-40 bucks.

In spite of the apparent name, 99 Cents Only Stores, the real, not so advertised name is 99.99 Cents Only Stores. Its a DOLLAR store and the only way to get that penny back when shopping there Id to buy 10,000 items.
